Abstract

This image is an image for generating a robot's operation program by setting the target position, movement trajectory, etc. of a specific part of the robot. The operation is performed by using an input means such as a mouse or controller, or by touching the display screen with a finger. In the reference diagram showing the use state, a target position can be set by inputting a number indicating a desired target position in the movement position number input field of the program editing area. In the movement method selection field below the movement position number input field, a movement trajectory to be drawn by a specific part toward a target position set in the movement position number input field in the same column can be set by selecting a desired icon from icons indicating multiple types of movement trajectories that have been predefined. A program is generated to operate the robot so that a specific part moves according to the set target position and movement trajectory, sequentially from the left column to the right column in the program editing area. Specifically, by selecting the list display icon in the movement method selection field or right-clicking the mouse in reference diagram 2 showing the use state, an icon list is displayed in which selectable movement trajectories are listed, as shown in reference diagram 3 showing the use state, and the state changes from image diagram 1 to image diagram 2. In image diagram 2, a desired movement trajectory can be set.
