Valve operating handle

Abstract

The present article is for opening and closing a valve connected to an underground pipeline. As shown in the reference perspective view, the valve operating handle includes a horizontally long gripping portion and a shaft portion extending downward from the longitudinal center of the gripping portion. When opening and closing a valve, an operator holding the gripping portion rotates the valve operating handle around the shaft portion as a rotation axis. As shown in the reference exploded front view, a housing portion capable of housing a gyro sensor that acquires information about the rotation during operation of the valve operating handle is provided on a side of the shaft portion. A connecting portion is provided at the lower end of the shaft portion to which a torque sensor that acquires information about the torque during operation of the valve operating handle is connected. The connecting portion is formed in a male shape that engages with a recess at the upper end of the torque sensor. A valve-side shaft portion that is a member that engages with the valve is connected to the lower end of the torque sensor. The valve operating handle is configured by integrating (unitizing) the housing portion and the connecting portion that are arranged close to each other. A cover that covers the gyro sensor and the torque sensor can be attached to the valve operating handle.
