Buddhist altar

Abstract

The article according to the present design is a Buddhist altar that can be attached to an interior wall or placed on a shelf or desk. It has a platform space that is partially covered by the left and right side walls, the back wall, and the top plate, and a cabinet stand that is one step higher in the center of the back of the platform space. Various Buddhist and Shinto implements such as the principal image, Buddhist statues, Shinto amulets, candle holders, incense burners, bells, and sakaki branches are appropriately placed on the platform space and cabinet stand. It can also be used as a shelf for interior decoration by placing daily necessities, small items, dolls, etc. on the platform.
