Lid for jar

Abstract

The design provides a sealing lid for a generally rectangular container having four circular corner ornaments and two U-shaped flanges projecting upward from the top left and right. The top surface of the lid has a long groove within which a long handle is housed and rotates on a pivot. Figure 1.8 shows the long handle in the raised position. The dashed lines in the figures represent subject matter for which protection is not claimed and do not form part of the design sought to be registered.
