Abstract
The article according to the present design is a wall-mounted jack. The wall-mounted jack according to the present design (hereinafter referred to as this article) is a compression material disposed in a gap of about 300 mm between the pipe of the scaffold assembled around the building and the building wall surface of the outer wall of the building as shown in the "Reference Drawing Showing the Use State". This article includes a cylindrical holder part connected to the pipe of the scaffold by a clamp, a jack part connected to the holder part, and a detachment prevention mechanism for preventing the jack part and the holder part from coming off. The jack part includes a shaft-shaped shaft member having a thread on the outer peripheral surface with the base end inserted into the holder part, a movable part that can move along the axial direction of the shaft member while rotating by screwing on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member, and a contact part for contacting the building wall surface of the building connected to the tip of the shaft member. The detachment prevention mechanism includes a ring-shaped flange provided inward from the inner wall surface of one end opening on the side where the base end of the shaft member of the holder part is inserted, and a locking projection provided to protrude outward from the base end of the shaft-shaped member that can be locked to this flange (see the "Plan View", its enlarged view, the "Enlarged End Face View of the Cut Part along the B-B' Line in Part A", and the "Partial Enlarged Reference Plan View Showing the Names of Each Part"). As shown in the "Front View", in the state where this article approaches the holder part to the tip side (contact part side) of the shaft member, the base end of the shaft member protrudes from the other end opening of the holder part. And from this state, when this article moves the holder part along the axial direction of the shaft member, it can be extended as shown in the "Reference Front View of the Extended State", and can be extended until the locking projection and the flange are locked as shown in the "Partial Cross-Sectional Reference View Showing the Locked State". In this state, the holder part and the jack part are prevented from coming off by the locking projection and the flange. Therefore, this article improves the workability when attaching to the pipe of the scaffold and can prevent the holder part from falling off or the like during attachment. Also, as shown in the "Front View", since the shaft member is longer than the holder part in this article, if the holder part is moved and extended along the axial direction of the shaft member, it can be attached so that the base end side of the shaft member does not protrude into the work passage of the scaffold when attached to the scaffold as shown in the "Reference Drawing Showing the Use State".For example, when the distance between the scaffold and the building wall surface is the above-mentioned distance, the length of the present article in the extended state can be adjusted so that the length from the bottom surface of the contact portion (the surface that contacts the building wall surface) to the other end surface of the holder portion (the surface located on the work passage side) is approximately 350 mm. Therefore, it is possible to ensure the safety of the operator, such as preventing accidents where the operator hits their head on the present article or catches their foot on the present article and falls when moving or working on the work passage.
