Abstract
This product is a cooking oil filter that filters used cooking oil containing fried food scraps and the like. This product is composed of two wire mesh baskets: an outer basket and an inner basket. The outer basket is a box-shaped basket with a bottom, made of metal wire arranged in a lattice pattern. The inner basket is a rectangular cylindrical basket without a bottom, made of metal wire arranged in a lattice pattern. When in use, nonwoven fabric is sandwiched between the outer and inner baskets, as shown in reference diagram (1) showing the state of use. This product with nonwoven fabric sandwiched in between is used, for example, as a filter for pre-treating used cooking oil in a cooking oil filter device that recycles used cooking oil from commercial fryers. Specifically, as shown in the exploded view in Reference Diagram (2) showing the state of use, this product is placed above the oil tank of the cooking oil filter device, and by receiving and filtering the used cooking oil discharged from a commercial fryer with this product, large impurities such as fried food debris contained in the used cooking oil are removed, and the used cooking oil from which the impurities have been removed is supplied to the cooking oil filter device. When impurities such as fried food debris accumulate on the nonwoven fabric and the filtering performance deteriorates, the inner basket is removed and the nonwoven fabric is replaced along with the impurities such as fried food debris.
