Abstract

This design relates to the product name: EXTLINE, and is particularly novel and original in the unique design features and processing methods used to realize the design. The "bend angle" that characterizes the design will be explained in detail. First, when metal is bent in standard sheet metal processing, a rounded corner that gives a soft impression, known as an "R-shape," is created (with a radius of more than twice the thickness of the sheet). However, in this design, an extremely small bend angle, "minimum R-shape"* (with a radius less than the thickness of the sheet), is used to create a combination of the long edge shape, lid edge shape, and material, creating an aesthetic that is different from conventional products and giving the product competitiveness in the market.
