Abstract
This tool is attached to a gripper, robot, machine tool, heater, or other device to remove burrs. Burrs are excess protrusions or residual portions that extend beyond the surface being deburred and are generated during processes such as resin processing, metal processing, wood processing, machining, and molding. This tool features a V-shaped cutting edge, which is advanced along the deburring surface and pressed against the burr. As shown in the top and bottom views, the V-shaped cutting edge has an acute angle, and the separation between the blades on both sides gradually increases toward the tip and decreases toward the base. Furthermore, as shown in the right side view, cross-sectional view along line A-A', and enlarged view of the C-C' section, the cutting edge is gently curved away from the deburring surface (upper side). This tool allows the V-shaped cutting edge to contact the deburring surface without a specific contact angle, easily cutting from the base without leaving a burr. In addition, the tip of this article (the V-shaped cutting edge) is formed to be blunt and not sharp, preventing damage if it accidentally comes into contact with a product component.
