Scraper unit for sludge collector in sedimentation tank

Abstract

This product is a scraper unit for a sludge collector in a sedimentation basin, and is installed in a water treatment facility for water purification, as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part" and the "Reference Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part and How to Use." Specifically, the water treatment facility includes a sedimentation basin for settling and separating impurities contained in the water to be treated, a collector for scraping the impurities that have settled in the sedimentation basin as sludge, and a sludge discharge pit for temporarily storing the sludge scraped by the collector. This product is installed at the bottom of the sedimentation basin for use. The collector comprises a scraper unit consisting of multiple scrapers arranged in parallel, multiple baffle plates arranged perpendicular to the scrapers, and a sliding plate fixed below them. The scraper unit is reciprocally movable on guide rails fixed to the bottom of the sedimentation basin by a drive unit (not shown). The reciprocating movement of the scraper unit scrapes sludge, which is temporarily stored in the sludge pit. In this case, by providing the scraper unit with a baffle plate, it is possible to prevent short-circuiting near the bottom of the settling tank and prevent sludge from being stirred up.
