Chain length adjuster

Abstract

This item is a chain length adjuster used when the chain used to lift heavy loads with a crane or the like is too long, and comprises a cylindrical body with a hook attached to the tip and head of a long bolt with a hexagonal head, with the long bolt screwed into the tip-side cylindrical body with a threaded groove and the long bolt inserted into the head-side cylindrical body with a through-hole. To use it, the hooks attached to both cylindrical bodies are hung on any two points of the chain whose length is to be adjusted, and the long bolt is turned with a power tool to draw the two cylindrical bodies together, thereby adjusting the chain to the optimum length.
