Abstract
The concrete form support connector of the present design, as shown in the overall explanatory diagram of its use, is a form support connector used to support and reinforce the upper end of a concrete form, specifically the upper end of the inner concrete form, used in constructing an open-topped concrete wall structure, such as a parapet wall that serves as the side wall of an elevated road, with an oblique support member. As shown in the enlarged diagram of the main part of the use state, this form support connector is composed of a threaded shaft that is threadedly connected to the threaded hole in the upper cylindrical body of the support member, a U-shaped support member connected to the upper end of the threaded shaft so as to be rotatable relative to the axis of the threaded shaft, a pair of freely openable butt material clamping pieces attached to the U-shaped support member by a single spindle, and a fastening bolt that closes the pair of butt material clamping pieces to crimp and clamp the horizontal butt material (round steel pipe) on the concrete form side that is fitted between the pair of butt material clamping pieces. A handlebar for rotation is attached to the upper end of the screw shaft so as to be positioned directly below the U-shaped support member, and can be freely moved in and out at a right angle to the screw shaft. The pair of butt material clamping pieces consists of a main clamping piece to which a nut, through which the fastening bolt is threadedly inserted, is fixed, and a secondary clamping piece supported on the main clamping piece so as to be able to swing open and close about the support shaft. The main clamping piece is attached to the U-shaped support member by the support shaft, but is fixed to the U-shaped support member so as not to rotate about the support shaft. In use, the fastening bolt is unscrewed to switch the secondary clamping piece to an openable and closable state, and the secondary clamping piece is opened around the support shaft relative to the main clamping piece by gravity or manual operation to open and close the gap between the main and secondary clamping pieces, and the main and secondary clamping pieces are then fitted into the horizontal butt material at the top of the concrete formwork. After this, the fastening bolt is screwed in to close the main and sub clamping pieces, and the main and sub clamping pieces are clamped tightly against the horizontal batten. Furthermore, once the concrete form support connector of this invention attached to the upper end of the support member is connected to the horizontal batten arranged at the upper end of the concrete form as described above, the support member is connected by a connecting pin to a support member fixed to the surface of the road body in a state where it is inclined at a predetermined angle.By adjusting the overall length of this support member and adjusting the screw shaft in and out of this support member, the horizontal batten on the concrete form can be held in a predetermined position, thereby correcting and holding the concrete form in a predetermined position. Support members come in a variety of lengths and structures, and the optimal one can be selected depending on the site conditions where the concrete form support connector of this proposal will be used.
