Abstract

This planter has a cup support placed on a strainer at the bottom of a planter container, a compost cup with a lid placed on the cup support so that it is floating above the strainer and can be rotated freely, the compost cup is placed inside the planter container, and soil is placed in the plant growing space inside the planter container around the compost cup.When plants are planted in the soil in the plant growing space and compost ingredients such as food waste are stored in the compost cup, the compost ingredients in the compost cup are converted into compost by the action of microorganisms in the soil and fermentation bacteria placed in the compost cup together with the compost ingredients, and this compost flows out of the compost outflow hole in the compost cup into the soil stored in the plant growing space, promoting plant growth. In addition, the roots of plants planted in the plant growing space may grow and enter the compost generation cup through the compost outlet hole. In such cases, the compost generation cup, which is rotatably mounted on the cup support, can be rotated horizontally to cut the roots of the plants that have entered the compost generation cup through the compost outlet hole.
