Abstract

This float is used as a playground equipment at swimming areas in lakes and rivers, or at beaches. As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, which show the use state, this float is connected to the outer edge of a floating body made by interconnecting multiple rectangular prism-shaped floats (see, for example, Patent Publication No. 7085780 and Design Registration No. 1746047). By connecting this float to the outer edge of the body, the top surface of this float becomes a downward-sloping surface, which is used as a slide. Because the bottom of this float slopes downward toward the tip (the right end in the front view), this tip receives a greater buoyancy than the rest of the body, preventing the tip from sinking too far into the water just before sliding off the top. This allows children to use this float as a slide safely.
