Side grate

Abstract

This item is a side grate used in a stoker-type incinerator in which rows of fixed and movable grates are arranged alternately and in a stepped pattern along the direction of transport of the materials to be incinerated. As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, which show the state of use, this item is arranged on (both) side walls of the hearth. This item consists of two parts, an upper part and a lower part, and by making the upper part, which is prone to corrosion and wear, removable and replaceable, maintenance is made easier and less expensive.
