Abstract
The images shown in "Image Diagram," "Image Diagram 1 Showing Changed State," and "Image Diagram 2 Showing Changed State" are images for content selection operations and information display. These images are used for operations to perform the function of selecting and displaying content related to the interior and exterior of a vehicle. Specifically, these images have a display area as shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing Names of Each Part," "Reference Diagram 2 Showing Names of Each Part," and "Reference Diagram 3 Showing Names of Each Part." As shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing Names of Each Part," the display area is arranged with a text area and a content display area. The text area displays text related to the content to be displayed. The content display area displays content related to the interior and exterior of a vehicle. Specifically, the content display area is arranged with a content image area, a content text area, and operation buttons (Reference Diagram 1 Showing Names of Each Part). The content image area displays an image associated with the content (e.g., an image of the exterior of a vehicle as seen from the front). The content text area displays text associated with the content. The operation buttons are buttons that accept user operations to view detailed information about the content. In the "Image Diagram" and "Reference Diagram 1 Showing the Names of Each Part," sliding (swiping) from the bottom to the top of the content display area changes the display area to the display shown in "Image Diagram 1 Showing the Changed State." Specifically, in the display area shown in "Image Diagram 1 Showing the Changed State," the content display area is not displayed, the text area is grayed out, and a view type selection display area is displayed (Reference Diagram 2 Showing the Names of Each Part). The view type selection display area is displayed toward the text area, sliding from the bottom of the display area over the content display area in accordance with the sliding operation. The view type selection display area is arranged with selection icons 1 to 8 and an exit button. Each of selection icons 1 to 8 displays an image and text indicating the view type of the car, one above the other. Specifically, selection icon 1 displays an illustrated image showing the exterior of the car as seen from the front and the text "forward." Selection icon 2 displays an illustrated image showing the exterior of the car as seen from the rear and the text "rear."Selection icon 3 displays an illustration of the car's exterior as seen from the side and the text "Side." Selection icon 4 displays an illustration of the car's steering wheel and the text "Driver's Seat." Selection icon 5 displays an illustration of the car's hood and doors open as seen from the front and the text "Front Open." Selection icon 6 displays an illustration of the car's trunk and doors open as seen from the rear and the text "Rear Open." Selection icon 7 displays an illustration of the car's hood, trunk, and doors open as seen from the side and the text "Side Open." Selection icon 8 displays an illustration of the car's seats and the text "Interior." By touching the end button or sliding (swiping) the view type selection display area downward, the type selection display area closes and switches to the "Image Diagram" display. The user selects the view type of the content by touching one of selection icons 1 to 8. A touched selection icon is highlighted more than the other selection icons. For example, in "Image 1 Showing the Changed State," selection icon 1 is highlighted because it is selected. When a selection icon is touched, the display changes from "Image 1 Showing the Changed State" to "Image 2 Showing the Changed State." The content display area shown in "Image 2 Showing the Changed State" displays content corresponding to the selected view type. For example, when selection icon 4 (Reference Figure 2 Showing the Names of Each Part) is touched, the text in the text area switches from "Forward" ("Image" and "Reference Figure 1 Showing the Names of Each Part") to "Driver's Seat." Additionally, the content image area in the content display area switches from an image corresponding to the "Forward" view type to an image corresponding to the "Driver's Seat" view type. The content text area and operation buttons in "Image 2 Showing the Changed State" have the same functions as the content text area and operation buttons shown in "Image."By sliding from the bottom to the top of the display area in the "Image Diagram," the user can switch the display to "Image Diagram 1 Showing Changed State," and by using selection icons 1 to 8, the user can check a list of car view types related to the content displayed in the content image area in the "Image Diagram." In addition, by selecting the selection icon for the desired view type, the user can check the content corresponding to the selected view type in the content image area of "Image Diagram 2 Showing Changed State."
