Abstract

This article is a sealing member disposed at the tip of a cover member in a telescopic cover so as to seal the gap between the cover members. As shown in the reference perspective view illustrating the function of each part, this article is configured as a composite of a first telescopic seal and a second telescopic seal. As shown in the reference view illustrating the state of use, the first telescopic seal has a first seal portion disposed on the telescopic cover and a reinforcing plate disposed at the lower end of the first seal portion. The second telescopic seal has a support plate fixed to the first telescopic seal and a second seal portion fixed to the support plate and disposed so as to contact another telescopic cover. The support plate and the second seal portion are bonded together with an adhesive or the like. As shown in the enlarged cross-sectional view along line AA, the second seal portion is a cut pile portion containing a large number of pile yarns.
