Abstract
This instrument is a percussion instrument that produces a sound by striking wooden pieces together, similar to castanets. It consists of three wooden pieces and a string connecting them. The first and third wooden pieces each have a resonating section formed inside, and when these wooden pieces abut against each other via the striking section, a resonant sound is produced along with the sound of the strikes. The second wooden piece has a ring-shaped structure and is placed between the first and third wooden pieces. This ensures overall thickness and operability, and also contributes to the sound quality when struck. These three wooden pieces are connected together with a string threaded through holes and grooves in each piece, allowing the user to open and close the pieces. When the pieces are closed, the striking section of the first and / or third wooden piece abuts against the other wooden piece, producing a sound.
