Abstract

The filling device is a device in which powder material is supplied to a cavity in the die disc of the rotor of a rotary tablet press, where the powder material is compressed into tablets by the upper and lower punches of the tablet press. The gears of the tablet device are provided to drive at least one filling wheel (multiple filling wheels in this example) which is rotatably positioned within the housing of the filling device.
