Abstract
As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2 illustrating the state of use, this article includes a rectangular plate-shaped member and an annular member rotatably attached thereto, the annular member having a magnetic portion. This article is a mounting device for attaching an object (e.g., a wallet or card case) to a portable information terminal such as a smartphone, and as shown in Reference Figures 3 and 4 illustrating the state of use, this article is detachably attached to either the portable information terminal or a case housing the portable information terminal (hereinafter, "portable information terminal or case housing the portable information terminal" is referred to as "terminal, etc.") or the object to be attached by the magnetic portion attracting the magnetic attraction portion (e.g., steel or magnet) of either the portable information terminal or the case housing the portable information terminal. (In Reference Figures 3 and 4 illustrating the state of use, the magnetic portion is attracting the magnetic attraction portion of the smartphone, which is a portable information terminal.) Then, as shown in Reference Figure 5 illustrating the usage state, by inserting the plate-shaped member of this article into the card pocket (a pocket into which a cash card or point card is inserted and held) of the other part of the terminal or attachment (Reference Figure 5 illustrating the usage state shows the plate-shaped member being inserted into the card pocket of a small wallet, which is the attachment), this article can be detachably attached to the other part. In this way, by detachably attaching the annular member to one part of the terminal or attachment and the plate-shaped member to the other part, the attachment can be rotatably and detachably attached to the terminal or attachment, as shown in Reference Figures 6 and 7 illustrating the usage state. In addition, by attaching this article to the terminal or attachment and adjusting the rotational position of the plate-shaped member relative to the annular member, the portable information terminal can be placed on the mounting surface at a desired angle (this article functions as a stand for the portable information terminal).
