Abstract
The article relating to the present design (hereinafter referred to as "the Article") is a card case for storing, keeping, and carrying trading cards and other cards. The Article consists of a roughly rectangular cylindrical body that is long in the left-right direction and has a deep bottom, and a roughly rectangular cylindrical lid that is long in the left-right direction and has a shallow bottom, opening and closing the opening of the body. The body and the lid are integrally connected via a pair of hinges on one of their respective long sides. The Article has an annular flange piece that protrudes outward approximately horizontally from a position slightly below the opening edge of the body, and both hinges are provided spanning one long side of the flange piece and one long side of the lid. The Article is closed around both hinges with the opening of the body and the opening of the lid facing each other, and the opening edge of the lid is in contact with the flange piece from the outside, with the opening edge of the lid in contact with the opening edge of the body. Furthermore, this article is equipped with a pair of left and right projections that protrude outward from the other long side of the main body, and a pair of left and right locking pieces that protrude from the other long side of the lid so as to follow the outer surface of the main body when the lid is closed, and have fitting holes that engage with the projections of the main body. The lid is held in a closed state by engaging the fitting holes of the locking pieces of the lid with the projections of the main body by rotation around both hinges. In addition, this article is equipped with a plurality of partition plates that divide the inside of the main body into multiple sections in the longitudinal direction. Each of these partition plates has a projection at its lower end that is fitted into a pair of short-side insertion holes provided at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction at the bottom of the main body via a fastener, and a projection that protrudes in the short direction from the upper end of each partition plate into a pair of short-side notches cut out at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction at the upper ends of both long sides of the main body corresponding to the insertion holes, thereby allowing the inside of the main body to be divided by the plurality of partition plates at any position in the longitudinal direction.
