Abstract

This article is a sealing member that is bendable due to having a notch, thereby sealing corners without gaps. As shown in the enlarged cross-sectional view of line AA, this article has a core plate and a sealing layer covering the core plate. The core plate is made of metal, resin, etc., and is flexible. The sealing layer is a cut pile layer containing a large number of pile threads. This article is formed so that the notch can be bent inward, as shown in Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use, or so that the notch can be bent outward, as shown in Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use. This article only needs to be provided so that the notch can be bent inward or outward. This article can form a continuous L-shaped sealing portion in the longitudinal direction by bending it at, for example, 90°. Furthermore, this article can form a continuous sealing portion in the longitudinal direction even when bent at an angle other than 90°. As a result, this article can seal corners without gaps from the inside or outside by the sealing portion.
