Support bracket

Abstract

The support bracket for this product can be placed in narrow piping spaces, is height-adjustable, and is designed to detachably hold long objects such as pipes. As shown in the six drawings and the perspective view, the support bracket comprises a band section and a pivot mechanism. The band section is for detachably holding long objects such as pipes and is fastened by a connecting section and a tightening section of a locking projection. The pivot mechanism is configured to support the band section with a roughly U-shaped bracket to which it is rotatably attached. The bracket is fixed with fastening members such as pins, bolts, and nuts, and is pivotally attached to the support member. The band section is rotatable, supported by the U-shaped bracket which is the pivot mechanism. The thickness of the bracket, the flat shape of the side plates, and the rounded corners are also distinctive features of its appearance. As shown in the perspective reference drawing with reference numerals indicating each part, the support fitting for this article has a band portion 1 for detachably holding a long object (indicated by the dashed line reference numeral 2), and is fastened by a connecting portion 3 such as a hinge structure and a tightening portion 5 of locking projections 4, 4. The lower part of the band portion 1 is provided with a bracket 7, which is a pivot mechanism. One side 1a of the band portion 1 is rotatably connected to the bracket 7 by the connecting portion 3, and the other side 1b is integrally formed with the upper part of the bracket 7. The pair of upper parts of the bracket 7 are fixed together with rivets 8, and an insertion hole 9 is formed in the bottom of the bracket 7 for inserting a support member such as a rod-shaped shaft or a threaded rod. As shown in the reference drawing 1 showing the state of use, the support fitting for this article is used to support or fix a long object 2, and when in use, it is used with the roughly annular band portion 1 fitted around the outer circumference of the long object 2. The band portion 1 is positioned to enclose the outer circumference of the long object 2, and the lower support member 10, such as a fully threaded rod for height adjustment, and the base plate portion 11 are erected against the mounting surface (floor, top of equipment, etc.). The support member 10 is passed through the insertion hole 9 of the bracket 7, which is a pivot mechanism, and rotated to match the position of the long object 2, and its vertical position is determined, and it is tightened and fixed with fastening members 12 such as nuts. The lower end of the support member 10 is also tightened and fixed to the base plate portion 11 installed at the mounting location with fastening members 13.In use, the band portion 1 attached to the outer circumference of the pipe, the support member 10 supporting it, and the base plate portion 11 fixed to the mounting surface at its lower end appear as a single unit, but the support member 10 and the base plate portion 11 can be easily disassembled. In particular, in terms of positional relationship with the pipe, the band portion 1 appears to be in close contact with the pipe, holding it while maintaining its axial direction perpendicular or parallel. An example is shown in which the band portion 1 is positioned at the upper ends of the base plate portion 11 and support member 10 erected on the mounting surface, and a long object 2 is passed through the inside of it.
