Abstract

To provide a method for producing a concrete composition, which makes it possible to easily produce a concrete composition with improved frost damage resistance, fluidity, and material separation resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a concrete composition. This method includes either step (i): preparing a powdered additive by impregnating a water-soluble porous powder with a PEG derivative, where the PEG derivative has an IOB value in the organic conception diagram of 0.3 to 1.8 and a weight average molecular weight Mw of 300 to 2,500 in terms of polystyrene as measured by gel permeation chromatography analysis, and contains at least one RCOO(C2H4O)n- (where R is a C10-C24 straight or branched monovalent hydrocarbon group and n is an integer of 3 to 40) in the molecule and a polyethylene glycol end OH or -OH group as a functional group or step (ii) preparing a powdered thickener by further adding water-soluble cellulose ether to the powdered additive, where the powdered additive or the powdered thickener are charged into the mixing process of components constituting the concrete composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
