Abstract

To provide an image formation system, a storage area identification method and a program that can reduce an amount of usage of a storage unit while lessening chores of a user.SOLUTION: An image formation system comprises: an acquisition unit (a control unit 11) that acquires read images obtained by reading images on a recording medium with an image reading unit 32; and the control unit 11 that causes a storage unit 14 to store an evidence image on the basis of the read image acquired by the acquisition unit. The control unit 11 is configured to: scan the read image of an inspection area designated by a user to detect a pixel to be stored; and identify an area to store as the evidence image on the basis of the detected pixel to be stored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
