Abstract

To provide a building for an AC / DC conversion device, an AC / DC conversion device, a hanging base, a carriage wagon, and a construction method of the AC / DC conversion device capable of suppressing a construction cost for the AC / DC conversion device.SOLUTION: A building for an AC / DC conversion device of an embodiment has an AC / DC conversion device and a ceiling crane. The AC / DC conversion device has a submodule, a support plate, and a fixing part. The submodule includes a semiconductor switch. The support plate supports the submodule. The fixing part can mechanically fix the support plate to a base part of a hanging base.
