Abstract

To provide a fireproof-covering method and a fireproof-covering structure that can be constructed in a short time.SOLUTION: A fireproof-covering method for fireproof-covering a structural member 16 comprises the steps of: producing an integrated laminated fireproof-covering material 14 by bonding a blanket-shaped fireproof-covering material 10 and a sheet-shaped thin heat insulating material 12; making a side of the fireproof-covering material 10 of the laminated fireproof-covering material 14 face the outer surface of the structural member 16, and then covering the outer surface of the structural member 16 with the fireproof-covering material 14; and then fastening the laminated fireproof-covering material 14 to the outer surface of the structural member 16 using a fastening material 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
