Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a paper container for containing a liquid content. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, as a paper container for storing liquid contents such as milk, juice, alcohol, etc., a gable roof-type paper container has been widely used which is made of a paperboard material with a thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back sides, has four body panels connected together via vertical fold lines of the body, and has the edges joined by a vertical seal panel to form a rectangular body, and is connected to the upper ends of the body panels with a pair of gable roof forming panels facing each other and having an outer top seal panel at their upper parts, and a pair of gable wall forming panels facing each other and having an inner top seal panel at their upper parts, one of which serves as a pouring outlet and can be opened, the pair of gable wall forming panels being folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel being heated and sealed at predetermined positions to form a hermetic seal, thereby forming a gable roof-type paper container (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] The spout of such a gable roof type paper container is opened by peeling away the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel on the side of the gable wall forming panel that forms the spout, pulling out the gable wall forming panel that is folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and folding it back outward from the top horizontal fold line at the boundary with the body panel that is connected via the top horizontal fold line to open the spout. [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2002-234524 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] However, in the above-mentioned paper container, the spout formed is shaped like a diamond that is long in the horizontal direction, the opening area of the spout is small, and the liquid contents flow out in a spreading state, making it difficult to pour.

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a paper container that can ensure a spout that opens widely and vertically, making it easy to pour out liquid contents. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] In order to achieve the above object, the invention described in claim 1 is a container made of a paperboard material having thermoplastic resin laminated on both sides, and comprising four body panels connected together via body vertical fold lines, the edges of which are joined together by a vertical seal panel to form a rectangular body, and a pair of gable roof forming panels facing each other and having an outer top seal panel at the top, and a pair of gable wall forming panels facing each other and having an inner top seal panel at the top, one of which serves as a pouring outlet and can be opened, are connected together at the upper ends of the body panels via a top horizontal fold line, and the pair of gable roof forming panels are folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels, and the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel are heated and sealed at predetermined positions. In this gable roof type paper container, the top is formed by sealing the container when the one of the four body panels to which the gable wall forming panel that serves as the pouring outlet and is opened is connected is the body front panel, the body front panel is formed with two first fold lines that connect to two base points set at or near the upper and lower ends of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body front panel and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the body front panel, and further formed with second fold lines that extend laterally from or near the apexes of the two first fold lines toward the left and right body vertical fold lines and straddle the left and right body vertical fold lines to reach parts of the left body side panel and the right body side panel.

[0008] According to the invention described in claim 1, the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panel and the inner top seal panel on the gable wall forming panel side that becomes the spout are peeled off from each other, the gable wall forming panel folded between a pair of gable roof forming panels is pulled out to open the spout, and the body is pressed by pinching the intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines and the second fold lines of the body front panel with fingers from the left and right, so that the body front panel side of the body is easily crushed from the intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines and the second fold lines, whereby the body front panel is mountain-folded from the two first fold lines, and the part of the body front panel surrounded by the two first fold lines protrudes forward, and the spout that opens opens wide vertically. This makes it easy to pour out the liquid content.

[0009] The invention described in claim 2 is characterized in that the first fold line according to claim 1 is formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape having a vertex at the maximum bulging position.

[0010] According to the invention described in claim 2, the first fold line is formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position as its apex. Therefore, when the body is pressed so as to be pinched at the intersection points of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body front panel with the second fold lines, the body front panel is easily mountain-folded from the two first fold lines.

[0011] The invention described in claim 3 is characterized in that the torso back panel of the torso described in claim 1 or 2 is formed with two third fold lines that are connected to two base points set in the vertical direction along the left and right torso vertical fold lines on or near the left and right torso vertical fold lines of the torso back panel and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the torso back panel, and each vertex of the third fold lines is approximately in the same position horizontally as each vertex of the first fold line.

[0012] According to the invention of claim 3, during pouring, the body is crushed by pinching with fingers from the left and right at the intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body front panel with the second fold line, and then the intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body back panel with imaginary lines extending laterally from each apex of the third fold line of the left and right body vertical fold lines are grasped with fingers from the left and right and pressed as if pinching, so that the body back panel is mountain-folded at the two third fold lines, and the body back panel side of the body is easily crushed from the imaginary intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body back panel with imaginary lines extending laterally from each apex of the third fold line, and the body has a continuously concave shape in the center from the body front panel through the body left side panel and right side panel to the body back panel, so that the body can be easily held by grasping the concave portion.

[0013] The invention described in claim 4 is characterized in that the third fold line according to claim 3 is formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape having a vertex at the maximum bulging position.

[0014] According to the invention described in claim 4, the body is formed into a substantially elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulge position as the apex, so that when the body is pinched and pressed at the virtual intersections of the left and right body vertical fold lines of the body back panel with virtual lines extending horizontally from the respective apexes of the third fold lines, the back front panel can be easily mountain-folded from the two third fold lines.

[0015] The invention described in claim 5 is characterized in that the left side panel and the right side panel of the torso described in any one of claims 1 to 4 have a plurality of anti-slip creases formed on the tip side of the second fold line and extending in the vertical direction toward the back panel of the torso.

[0016] According to the invention described in claim 5, when pouring, the concave portions of the left and right side panels of the body are grasped, but the anti-slip lines formed on the left and right side panels of the body allow the grasping fingers to catch, effectively preventing the paper container from slipping off the fingers, making it easy to pour the liquid contents. Effect of the Invention

[0017] As described above, according to the paper container of the present invention, a paper container can be obtained that has a spout that opens wide vertically when pouring liquid, making it easy to pour the liquid contents. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0019] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a paper container according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. 1 to 13 show an example of an embodiment of a paper container according to the present invention, in which FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the paper container of this example, FIG. 2 is a front view of the paper container shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a left side view of the paper container shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a rear view of the paper container shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 5 is a right side view of the paper container shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 6 is a plan view showing a carton blank of the paper container shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 7 is an explanatory view showing the operation of crushing the front panel side of the body of the paper container shown in FIG. 1 with the spout open from both sides, and FIG. FIG. 7 is a front view of a paper container in which the front panel side of the body has been crushed from both sides by the action shown in FIG. 7; FIG. 9 is a side view of the paper container shown in FIG. 8; FIG. 10 is an explanatory diagram showing the action of crushing the rear panel side of the body of the paper container shown in FIG. 8 from both sides; FIG. 11 is a rear view of a paper container in which the rear panel side of the body has been crushed from both sides by the action shown in FIG. 10; FIG. 12 is a side view of the paper container shown in FIG. 11; and FIG. 13 is an explanatory diagram showing the body of the paper container shown in FIG. 12 being grasped and held.

[0020] The paper container 1 of this example is formed from a carton blank 2, which is a paperboard material with a thermoplastic resin laminated on the front and back sides as shown in Fig. 6. The carton blank has four body panels 6, 7, 8, and 9 connected via body vertical fold lines 3, 4, and 5. When the paper container 1 is formed, the four body panels 6, 7, 8, and 9 are joined at the edge 12 of the body panel 6 to a vertical seal panel 11 connected to the body panel 9 via the body vertical fold line 10, thereby forming a square tubular body 13 of the paper container 1.

[0021] A pair of opposing gable roof forming panels 16, 17 having outer top seal panels 14, 15 at their upper parts are connected to the upper ends of the body panels 6, 8 via top horizontal fold lines 18, 19, and a pair of opposing gable wall forming panels 22, 23 having inner top seal panels 20, 21 at their upper parts are connected to the upper ends of the body panels 7, 9 via top horizontal fold lines 24, 25, and the gable wall forming panels 22, 23 are folded between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, and the outer top seal panels 14, 15 and the inner top seal panels 20, 21 are heated and sealed in predetermined positions to form a top 26. Then, one of the gable wall forming panels 22, 23 folded between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17 is pulled out and opened to form the spout 27. In this example, the gable wall forming panel 22 is the gable wall forming panel on the opening side.

[0022] The gable roof forming panels 16, 17 are formed with guide fold lines 28, 29 on the opening side of the gable wall forming panel 22 to guide the folding of the gable roof forming panels 16, 17 when opened.

[0023] The gable wall forming panels 22, 23 are formed with fold lines 30, 31, 32, 33 for folding the gable wall forming panels 22, 23, and approximately triangular surface portions 34, 35 are formed surrounded by the fold lines 30, 31, 32, 33 and the top horizontal fold lines 24, 25.

[0024] In addition, bottom panels 38, 39 are connected to the lower ends of the body panels 7, 9 via bottom horizontal fold lines 36, 37, and inner panels 42, 43 are connected to the lower ends of the body panels 6, 8 via bottom horizontal fold lines 40, 41, and the inner panels 42, 43 are folded and sealed inside the bottom panels 38, 39 to form a bottom 44.

[0025] Furthermore, when the body panel 7 of the four body panels 6, 7, 8, 9 to which one of the gable wall forming panels 22 which becomes the pouring outlet 27 and is opened is adjacently connected to the body panel 7 located on the pouring outlet 27 side, two first fold lines 46, 47 are formed on the body front panel 45, which are connected to two base points P1, P2 set at or near the upper and lower ends of the left and right body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the body front panel 45.

[0026] It is preferable that the horizontal dimension L1 from the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 to the apex T1 of the first fold lines 46, 47 is 20% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L2 of the body front panel 45. When the horizontal dimension L1 from the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 to the apex T1 of the first fold lines 46, 47 is 20% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L2 of the body front panel 45, as described below, when pouring, the body 13 is pressed so as to pinch the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 from the left and right, and the amount of pushing out of the part of the body front panel 45 surrounded by the first fold lines 46, 47 becomes the amount of pushing out that opens the spout 27 of the paper container 1 wide vertically and gives the spout 27 an opening shape that makes pouring easier.

[0027] The apex T1 of the first fold lines 46, 47 is located at the center between two base points P1, P2 set at or near the upper and lower ends of the body vertical fold lines 3, 4. In this example, the first fold lines 46, 47 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape with the apex T1 at the maximum bulging position.

[0028] In this example, the first fold lines 46, 47 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape, but are not limited to this as long as the shape has the maximum bulge position as the apex T1. For example, the fold lines may be V-shaped, arc-shaped, or polygonal arc-shaped, and may not be continuous but may be interrupted discontinuous lines.

[0029] In addition, in this example, second fold lines 50, 51 are formed which extend laterally from or near each vertex T1 of the first fold lines 46, 47 of the torso front panel 45 toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, straddling the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4, and reaching parts of the torso left side panel 48 (torso panel 6) and the torso right side panel 49 (torso panel 8).

[0030] Furthermore, in this example, two third fold lines 53, 54 are formed on the torso back panel 52 (torso panel 9) of the torso 13, which are connected to two base points P3, P4 set in the vertical direction along the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 on or near the left and right torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the torso back panel 52 and bulge toward the inside in the width direction of the torso back panel 52.

[0031] The vertex T2 of each of the third fold lines 53, 54 is substantially in the same position in the horizontal direction as the vertex T1 of each of the first fold lines 46, 47. In this example, the third fold lines 53, 54 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape with the vertex T2 being the maximum bulging position.

[0032] In this example, the third fold lines 53, 54 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape; however, similar to the first fold lines 46, 47, the shape is not limited to this as long as it has a vertex T2 at the maximum bulge position; for example, the third fold lines 53, 54 may be V-shaped, arc-shaped, or polygonal arc-shaped, and the third fold lines 53, 54 may be interrupted discontinuous lines rather than continuous lines.

[0033] A horizontal dimension L3 from the body vertical fold lines 5, 10 to the apex T2 of the third fold lines 53, 54 is preferably 15% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L4 of the body back panel 52. If the horizontal dimension L3 from the body vertical fold lines 5,9 to the apex T2 of the third fold lines 53,54 is 15% to 30% of the horizontal dimension L4 of the body back panel 52, as described below, the amount of dent when the left and right body vertical fold lines 5,10 of the body back panel 52 and the imaginary intersection points 64,65 with imaginary lines 62,63 extending laterally from the apex T2 of each of the third fold lines 53,54 are grasped with fingers from the left and right and pressed down, the amount of dent is approximately the same as the amount of dent when the body vertical fold lines 3,4 of the body front panel 45 are grasped with fingers from the left and right and pressed down, the amount of dent is approximately the same as the amount of dent when the body front panel 45 and the body left side panel 48 and right side panel 49 are grasped and pressed down, the amount of dent is approximately the same in the center of the body 13 (see FIGS. 11 and 12), and the concave portion can be easily grasped.

[0034] In this example, a plurality of anti-slip creases 55, 56 are formed on the left and right torso side panels 48, 49 of the torso 13 at the leading ends of the second fold lines 50, 51 and extending in the up-down direction toward the torso back panel 52. The anti-slip creases 55, 56 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape.

[0035] In this example, the anti-slip ruled lines 55, 56 are formed in a substantially elliptical arc shape, but they may be straight lines, V-shaped, arc-shaped, or polygonal arc-shaped, and may be interrupted continuous lines instead of continuous lines. Also, although it is preferable to form a plurality of anti-slip ruled lines 55, 56, only one may be formed.

[0036] In this example, a fourth fold line 57 having a downward arc shape is formed in the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13, with its end located at or near the upper ends of the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the torso front panel 45 of the torso 13. A fifth fold line 58 consisting of a straight line extending from the lowest point of the center of the fourth fold line 57 to the apex horizontal fold line 24 and toward the apex of the approximately triangular surface portion 34 is formed in the approximately triangular surface portion 34 provided on the torso front panel 45 and the gable wall forming panel 22 connected to the torso front panel 45.

[0037] When pouring liquid contents from the paper container 1 configured as described above, first, insert your fingers into the space between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45 and the gable wall forming panel 22, peel away the heat-sealed opposing surfaces of the outer top seal panels 14, 15 and the inner top seal panel 20 on the gable wall forming panel 22 side which forms the pouring outlet 27, and pull out the gable wall forming panel 22 which is folded between the pair of gable roof forming panels 16, 17 to open the pouring outlet 27.

[0038] When the spout 27 is opened, in this example, the top corner 59 of the body 13 formed by folding the top horizontal fold line 24 is pressed toward the inside of the paper container 1, so that the approximately triangular surface portion 34 of the body front panel 45 and the gable wall forming panel 22 connected to the body front panel 45 is valley folded from the fifth fold line 58, and the body front panel 45 is mountain folded from the fourth fold line 57, and the top corner 59 is recessed toward the inside of the paper container 1. This widens the space between the gable roof forming panels 16, 17, the body front panel 45, and the gable wall forming panel 22, making it easier to insert fingers.

[0039] After opening the spout 27 in this manner, as shown in FIG. 7, the body 13 is pressed by grasping with fingers from the left and right at the intersections 60, 61 of the left and right body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 with the second fold lines 50, 51.

[0040] The second fold lines 50, 51 extend horizontally from or near each vertex T1 of the first fold lines 46, 47 of the torso front panel 45 toward the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 and straddle the left and right torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 to reach parts of the torso left side panel 48 and the torso right side panel 49. Therefore, when the torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 are pressed, the torso front panel 45 side of the torso 13 is easily crushed from the intersections 60, 61 of the torso vertical fold lines 3, 4 and the second fold lines 50, 51 (see FIG. 8).

[0041] As a result, the body front panel 45 is mountain-folded along the two first fold lines 46, 47. In this example, the first fold lines 46, 47 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulging position as the apex T1, so that the body front panel 45 can be easily mountain-folded along the first fold lines 46, 47.

[0042] By folding the body front panel 45 in this manner from the first fold lines 46, 47, the portion of the body front panel 45 surrounded by the two first fold lines 46, 47 protrudes forward (see FIG. 9). As a result, the opening of the spout 27 opens wide vertically, making it easier to pour out the liquid contents.

[0043] In this example, two third fold lines 53, 54 are formed in the body rear panel 52 of the body 13, which are connected to two base points P3, P4 set in the up-down direction along the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 on or near the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the body rear panel 52 and bulge inward in the width direction of the body rear panel 52. The apex T2 of each of the third fold lines 53, 54 is roughly in the same position in the horizontal direction as the apex T1 of each of the first fold lines 46, 47. Therefore, the liquid from the opened pouring spout 27 is uniformly distributed. When pouring out the contents, the intersections 60, 61 of the body vertical fold lines 3, 4 of the body front panel 45 of the body 13 with the second fold lines 50, 51 are pinched with fingers from the left and right to crush, and then the imaginary intersections 64, 65 of the left and right body vertical fold lines 5, 10 of the body back panel 52 with imaginary lines 62, 63 extending laterally from vertices T2 of the third fold lines 53, 54 are grasped with fingers from the left and right to pinch and press (see FIG. 10) to crush (see FIG. 11).

[0044] As a result, torso back panel 52 is mountain-folded along the third fold lines 53, 54, and the side of torso back panel 52 on the torso 13 is crushed from imaginary intersections 64, 65 of torso vertical fold lines 5, 10 of torso back panel 52 and imaginary lines 62, 63 extending horizontally from vertices T2 of each of the third fold lines 53, 54, so that the torso 13 has a continuously concave shape in the center from torso front panel 45 through torso left side panel 48 and right side panel 49 to torso back panel 52 (see Figures 11 and 12), making it easy to grip torso 13 by grasping the concave portion (see Figure 13).

[0045] In this example, the third fold lines 53, 54 are formed in a generally elliptical arc shape with the maximum bulging position being the apex T2, so that the torso rear panel 52 can be easily mountain-folded along the third fold lines 53, 54.

[0046] In addition, in this example, multiple anti-slip lines 55, 56 extending vertically toward the body rear panel 52 are formed on the left side panel 48 and the right side panel 49 of the body 13 at the tip side of the second fold lines 50, 51. Therefore, when pouring liquid contents, the concave portions of the left side panel 48 and the right side panel 49 of the body 13 are grasped, but the fingers will get caught on the anti-slip lines 55, 56 formed on the left side panel 48 and the right side panel 49 of the body, which effectively prevents the paper container 1 from slipping off the fingers, making it easy to pour the liquid contents.
