[0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2023-005535 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2020-009760 A [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 6311861 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] As shown in Patent Documents 1 to 3, conventional lighting devices generally have a lighting unit and a power supply unit attached as an integrated unit. Therefore, when installing the lighting device, the heavy integrated unit must be carried. Furthermore, the heavier the unit is, the more difficult it becomes to install the device, which increases the burden on the worker. In particular, lighting devices are generally installed in high places, which increases the burden of carrying and installing the device.
[0007] If the lighting unit and the power supply unit are separated, the weight of each unit is reduced compared to when they are attached together, and the burden of carrying the unit is reduced. However, since the lighting unit and power supply unit must be assembled at the installation site, it is necessary to consider a configuration that takes ease of assembly into account when improving the lighting device. Also, if the holder that holds the lighting unit and the power supply unit are configured to be attached separately to the installation surface, both the holder and the power supply unit will require space, making it difficult to install in a small space. For this reason, it is necessary to consider a configuration that takes into account the installation area when improving the lighting device.
[0008] In view of these conventional problems and points to be considered, the present invention aims to provide a lighting device that can reduce the burden of carrying it around, can be easily installed, and does not require an excessive amount of installation space. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] The present invention is a lighting device comprising a first holding portion to which a lighting unit is attached and a second holding portion to which a power supply unit is attached, the first holding portion having a base that contacts an installation surface, an attachment portion provided on the base for fixing the base to the installation surface, and a first arm that connects the base and the lighting unit, the second holding portion having a second arm that is detachably attached to the first arm, and the second arm being rotatable relative to the first arm between a laid-down position in which the power supply unit approaches the base and an upright position in which the power supply unit moves away from the base.
[0010] In the above-described lighting device, it is preferable that one of the first arm and the second arm has a pivot shaft, and the other of the first arm and the second arm has an elongated hole into which the pivot shaft is inserted to allow the second arm to pivot relative to the first arm, and the second arm has an engagement protrusion protruding toward the first arm, and the first arm has an engagement receiving portion that engages with the engagement protrusion to support the power supply unit in the upright position, and that when the second holding part is moved relative to the first holding part so that the pivot shaft moves relative to the elongated hole, the engagement with the engagement protrusion is released to allow the power supply unit to move to the laid-down position.
[0011] In the above-described lighting device, it is preferable that the second holding portion has a stopper that comes into contact with the first holding portion to support the power supply unit in the laid-down position. Effect of the Invention
[0012] According to the lighting device of the present invention, the lighting unit and the power supply unit can be separated by removing the second arm from the first arm, so that each can be carried to the installation location individually, reducing the burden of carrying them. In addition, the lighting unit and the power supply unit can be assembled by basically attaching the second arm to the first arm, so that it is also excellent in terms of workability. In addition, when the second arm is rotated and moved to the upright position, the power supply unit can be separated from the base, so that the surroundings of the mounting part provided on the base are not obstructed, so that the lighting device can be easily attached to the installation surface. In addition, since there is no problem even if the base and the power supply unit are arranged so as to overlap in the laid-down position, the installation area can be reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] Hereinafter, a lighting device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings. The lighting device 1 shown in the attached drawings is assumed to be installed on an installation surface extending in the horizontal direction. The illustrated lighting unit 2 is assumed to be located on the front side of the lighting device 1 and facing forward. The left and right directions in the following description refer to the left and right directions when facing the lighting unit 2 directly (the direction from the viewpoint from the front side to the rear side). The diagrams shown in the attached drawings are schematic, and the thickness and width of each part, the ratio between each part, etc. may differ from those actually implemented.
[0015] The lighting device 1 includes a lighting unit 2, a first holding part 3, a power supply unit 4, and a second holding part 5.
[0016] The lighting unit 2 includes a light source that emits light such as an LED, a reflector that emits the light from the light source in a predetermined direction, a heat sink that dissipates heat generated by the light source, and the like. The lighting unit 2 of this embodiment includes nine lighting parts that are approximately square when viewed from the front as shown in Fig. 3, but the shape and number of the lighting parts are not limited to those shown. A cable (not shown) with a connector at its tip is provided at the lower part on the rear side of the lighting unit 2, and this cable is used to electrically connect the lighting unit 2 and the power supply unit 4.
[0017] The lighting unit 2 also has brackets 10 on its left and right sides. The bracket 10 is provided with a lighting fixing part 11 consisting of a circular through hole that passes through it, and a nut welded to the inner surface of the bracket 10 at a position corresponding to the through hole. A lighting unit fixing bolt 12 is attached to the lighting fixing part 11 when the lighting unit 2 is held by the first holding part 3.
[0018] The first holding part 3 includes a base 13 that contacts the installation surface, and a pair of first arms 14 that extend upward from the left and right ends of the base 13. The base 13 and the pair of first arms 14 in this embodiment are formed by bending a metal plate into a predetermined shape.
[0019] 2, the base 13 is provided with an attachment portion 15 in the center in the left-right direction. In this embodiment, the attachment portion 15 is composed of a central hole 16 that passes through the base 13 in a circular shape, and an adjustment hole 17 that passes through the base 13 in an arc shape centered on the central hole 16. Bolts are inserted into the central hole 16 and the adjustment hole 17 when the lighting device 1 is installed on an installation surface. A detailed explanation of installing the lighting device 1 on an installation surface will be given later.
[0020] In this embodiment, the first arm 14 includes a lower portion 18 extending upward as shown in FIG. 5A, and an upper portion 19 connected to the upper end of the lower portion 18 and inclined so as to incline toward the front as it goes upward. The lower portion 18 is provided with a fixing portion constituted by a through hole passing through the lower portion 18 in a circular shape and a nut welded to the inner surface of the lower portion 18 at a position corresponding to the through hole. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5A, two fixing portions are provided for one first arm 14. Here, the fixing portion located on the lower side is referred to as a lower fixing portion 20, and the fixing portion located on the upper side is referred to as an upper fixing portion 21. A lower fixing bolt 22 is attached to the lower fixing portion 20 when holding a second arm 30 described later as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, and an upper fixing bolt 23 is attached to the upper fixing portion 21. The upper fixing bolt 23 corresponds to the "rotation shaft" in this specification and the like.
[0021] 5A, the upper portion 19 is provided with a circular support hole 24 penetrating therethrough. The above-mentioned lighting unit fixing bolt 12 is inserted into the support hole 24, and the lighting unit 2 is fixed to the first arm 14 by screwing the lighting unit fixing bolt 12 inserted into the support hole 24 into the lighting fixing part 11.
[0022] The first arm 14 also has an engagement receiving portion 25 on the back side of the portion where the lower portion 18 and the upper portion 19 are connected. The engagement receiving portion 25 has a function of engaging with an engagement protrusion 36 provided on the second arm 30, which will be described later, to support the second arm 30 in the upright position. The engagement receiving portion 25 in this embodiment is composed of a front-side inclined portion 26 that is connected to the lower end of the upper portion 19 and inclined so as to incline toward the back side as it extends downward, and a back-side inclined portion 27 that is connected to the lower end of the front-side inclined portion 26 and inclined so as to incline toward the back side as it extends upward.
[0023] The power supply unit 4 has a function of converting power (e.g., AC power) supplied from an external power source such as a commercial power source into power (e.g., DC power) suitable for the lighting unit 2 and supplying it to the lighting unit 2. On the front side of the power supply unit 4 in this embodiment, a cable (not shown) having a connector at its tip and connected to the cable of the lighting unit 2 is provided, and on the rear side of the power supply unit 4, an external power supply cable (not shown) for connecting to an external power supply is provided.
[0024] The second holding portion 5 includes a pair of second arms 30 located on the left and right sides of the lighting device 1. As shown in Figs. 1 to 4, the second arm 30 of this embodiment includes a side portion 31 located outside the first arm 14 and extending along a vertical plane, and a bottom portion 32 extending along a horizontal plane from the lower end of the side portion 31, and is shaped to be L-shaped overall. An end portion located on the front side of the side portion 31 is referred to as a stopper 33. The stopper 33 will be described in detail later. The power supply unit 4 of this embodiment is attached to the bottom portion 32 of the pair of second arms 30.
[0025] 5B, the second arm 30 has a circular lower through-hole 34 penetrating the side surface portion 31, and an upper through-hole 35 that is located above the lower through-hole 34 and extends longitudinally from the front side to the rear side in this embodiment and penetrates the side surface portion 31. The upper through-hole 35 corresponds to the "long hole" in this specification.
[0026] Furthermore, the second arm 30 is provided on its inner surface with a cylindrical engagement projection 36 as shown in Figs. 2 and 5B.
[0027] In the lighting device 1 configured as above, the lighting unit 2 and the power supply unit 4 can be separated by removing the lighting unit fixing bolts 12 or the lower fixing bolts 22 and the upper fixing bolts 23. This allows these to be carried separately to the installation location, reducing the burden of carrying them.
[0028] When the carried lighting device 1 is to be installed at the installation location, the lower fixing bolt 22 is removed, and the upper fixing bolt 23 is inserted into the upper through-hole 35 and loosely screwed to the upper fixing part 21. In this state, the second arm 30 is in a state where it can rotate about the upper fixing bolt 23 relative to the first arm 14. To prevent the lighting device 1 from accidentally falling over during the work of attaching it to the installation surface, it is preferable to insert a bolt (not shown) into the center hole 16 and adjustment hole 17 shown in FIG. 3 and loosely screw this bolt into the female thread provided on the installation surface.
[0029] Next, as shown by a solid line in Fig. 6, the power supply unit 4 is moved to the rear side together with the second arm 30. In Figs. 6 to 8, in order to show the positional relationship between the upper fixing bolt 23 and the upper through-hole 35, the upper fixing bolt 23 is shown with hatching only on the cylindrical portion screwed to the upper fixing part 21, and the hexagonal head of the upper fixing bolt 23 is not shown. Here, the upper through-hole 35 through which the upper fixing bolt 23 is inserted extends long from the front side to the rear side, so that the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 can be moved to the rear side until the front edge of the upper through-hole 35 comes into contact with the upper fixing bolt 23. In addition, when the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 are moved to the rear side as shown in Fig. 6, the stopper 33 comes into contact with the rear side edge of the first arm 14, and the second arm 30 stops at a position (a lying down position) where the power supply unit 4 is above the base 13, as shown by the solid line in Fig. 6. In other words, even if the hands that were holding the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 are released from them in order to move them to the rear side, the power supply unit 4 and the second arm 30 do not come into contact with the installation surface or the base 13, and therefore the installation work can be performed conveniently.
[0030] Thereafter, as shown in Fig. 7, second arm 30 and power supply unit 4 are rotated while being supported so as to be pulled up, centered on upper fixing bolt 23. Here, engagement protrusion 36 is provided on the inner surface of second arm 30, and when second arm 30 and power supply unit 4 are rotated while being supported so as to be pulled up, engagement protrusion 36 passes outside engagement receiving portion 25 as shown in trajectory L in Fig. 7. In other words, interference between engagement protrusion 36 and engagement receiving portion 25 is avoided when second arm 30 and power supply unit 4 are rotated, so they can be rotated to the state shown in Fig. 7.
[0031] Thereafter, when the force of the hand supporting the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 is released, the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 move downward by their own weight as shown by the solid line in Fig. 8, and the engagement protrusion 36 engages with the engagement receiving portion 25. That is, the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 stop at the position shown by the solid line in Fig. 8 (inverted position) even if the hand supporting them is released. Note that since the engagement receiving portion 25 of this embodiment has the front side inclined portion 26 and the rear side inclined portion 27, even if the angle at which the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 are rotated is slightly deviated from the state shown by the virtual line in Fig. 8, the engagement protrusion 36 slides down to the position where the front side inclined portion 26 and the rear side inclined portion 27 are connected while contacting the front side inclined portion 26 or the rear side inclined portion 27, and the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 are held at the position shown by the solid line in Fig. 8.
[0032] In this manner, with the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 stopped in the inverted position, the back side of the lighting device 1 is largely open, and there is nothing obstructing the periphery of the mounting part 15 shown in Fig. 2, so that the bolts inserted into the central hole 16 and the adjustment hole 17 can be easily tightened. In addition, since the periphery of the lower part of the back side of the lighting unit 2 is also largely open, the cable of the lighting unit 2 and the cable of the power supply unit 4 can be easily connected.
[0033] After the installation of the lighting device 1 on the installation surface is completed, the second arm 30 and the power supply unit 4 in the inverted position are rotated to the laid-down position in the reverse order to the above-mentioned procedure. Then, as shown in Figs. 1 to 4, the lower fixing bolt 22 is inserted into the lower through-hole 34 (see Fig. 5B) and tightened against the lower fixing part 20, and the upper fixing bolt 23 is tightened against the upper fixing part 21, thereby fixing the power supply unit 4. The power supply unit 4 is fixed at a low height on the first arm 14 via the second arm 30, and the center of gravity of the lighting device 1 can be lowered, so that the lighting device 1 is stably held on the installation surface.
[0034] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiment, and various modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the spirit of the present invention described in the claims unless otherwise specifically limited in the above description. For example, the configuration of the above-mentioned embodiment can be appropriately added or deleted, and the configuration of one embodiment can be applied to another embodiment. Furthermore, the effects of the above-mentioned embodiment are merely examples of the effects resulting from the present invention, and do not mean that the effects of the present invention are limited to the above-mentioned effects.
[0035] For example, in this embodiment, to make the "rotation axis" and "slotted hole" function, first arm 14 is provided with upper fixing portion 21 which holds upper fixing bolt 23, and second arm 30 is provided with upper through hole 35, but it is also possible to provide upper through hole 35 in first arm 14 and hold upper fixing bolt 23 with second arm 30. Also, the "slotted hole" is not limited to a hole which passes through first arm 14 or second arm 30 as in this embodiment, but it may be a concave hole which does not pass through.
[0036] The second holding portion 5 may further include a connection member that connects the pair of second arms 30 together, and the power supply unit 4 may be attached to the connection member. [Explanation of symbols]
