[0002] Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 disclose polyol compositions for rigid polyurethane foams. The polyol compositions of Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 use 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as a blowing agent. The polyol composition of Patent Document 1 uses ethyl diglycol acetate as a compatibilizer. The polyol composition of Patent Document 2 uses γ-butyrolactone, ε-caprolactone, and methoxypropyl acetate as compatibilizers. It is described that the use of these compatibilizers can suppress the deterioration of the physical properties of polyurethane foams even when 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is used as a blowing agent. Of these, HFO-1233zd is preferred. These hydrohaloolefins may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.
[0022] The content of the hydrohaloolefin is preferably 5 parts by mass or more, more preferably 10 parts by mass or more, and even more preferably 20 parts by mass or more, relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyol, from the viewpoint of reducing the thermal conductivity. On the other hand, the content of the hydrohaloolefin is preferably 60 parts by mass or less, more preferably 50 parts by mass or less, and even more preferably 45 parts by mass or less, from the viewpoint of cost and suppressing deactivation of the catalyst. [0025] (3) Surfactants The surfactant includes an alkanolamide. It is presumed that the use of an alkanolamide as a surfactant can improve the compatibility between the hydrohaloolefin and the polyol, and can improve the storage stability of the polyol composition. In addition, when an alkanolamide is used as a compound for improving the compatibility between the hydrohaloolefin and the polyol, the thermal conductivity of the polyurethane foam can be suitably reduced. Furthermore, when the hydrohaloolefin is blended, the mixability between the polyol composition and the isocyanate component is deteriorated, and as a result, there is a concern that voids will be generated on the surface of the polyurethane foam, resulting in a poor appearance. On the other hand, when an alkanolamide is used, the appearance of the polyurethane foam can be improved even when the hydrohaloolefin is blended.
[0026] Examples of alkanolamides include compounds in which an alkanolamine and a carboxylic acid are bonded by an amide bond. [0034] The reaction liquid set for producing a polyurethane foam can be used by mixing a polyol composition (Liquid A) and an isocyanate component (Liquid B) in a predetermined mixing ratio. The mixing ratio of the polyol composition and the isocyanate component is not particularly limited. [0042] [Table 1]
[0043] The following raw materials were used as the isocyanate component (liquid B). Isocyanate component: Polymeric MDI, Formlite 200B, BASF INOAC Polyurethanes
[0044] The polyol composition (liquid A) and the isocyanate component (liquid B) were mixed and molded to obtain a polyurethane foam. Liquid A and liquid B were mixed in the ratio (liquid A / liquid B, mass ratio) shown in Table 2. A formwork measuring 300 mm×300 mm×50 mm was used as a mold for molded foaming.
[0045] 2. Evaluation Methodology (1) Thermal conductivity According to JIS A1412-2:1999, the polyurethane foam obtained by mold foaming, measuring 300mm x 300mm x 50mm, was cut into pieces measuring 200mm x 200mm x 25mm. The thermal conductivity was then measured using a thermal conductivity measuring instrument "AUTO-Λ HC-074" manufactured by Eiko Seiki Co., Ltd. The thermal conductivity measurement was carried out one week after the polyurethane foam was obtained by mold foaming.
[0046] (2) Appearance The apparent overall density of the polyurethane foam was measured in accordance with JIS K7222:2005.
[0047] The appearance of the polyurethane foam was visually evaluated according to the following criteria. "Good": There are few voids on the surface, and the surface properties are good. "Fair": Voids etc. are observed on the surface, but it is usable. "Poor": A large number of voids or the like are observed on the surface, and the surface properties are poor.
[0048] 3. Results The results are shown in Table 1. The thermal conductivity of Example 1 was lower than that of Comparative Example 3 (blank). In contrast, the thermal conductivity of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 was higher than that of Comparative Example 3 (blank). It was suggested that the thermal conductivity can be reduced when alkanolamide is used.
[0049] The appearance of Example 1 was evaluated as "good". In contrast, the appearance of Comparative Example 3 was evaluated as "poor". This is considered to be due to the fact that the polyol composition of Comparative Example 3 does not contain an alkanolamide or a compatibilizer, and therefore the miscibility between the polyol composition containing HFO-1233zd and the isocyanate component is poor. This example suggests that when an alkanolamide is used, the miscibility between the polyol composition and the isocyanate component can be improved, thereby improving the appearance of the polyurethane foam.
[0050] According to the above-mentioned embodiments, a technique can be provided that can improve the appearance of the polyurethane foam and reduce the thermal conductivity of the polyurethane foam.
[0051] The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above in detail, and various modifications and variations are possible within the scope of the present disclosure.
