Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers, which contains a phosphoric acid compound (A), an unsaturated compound (B) having a specific chemical structure, and a solvent (S) in a specific compositional ratio, a method for preparing a diluted solution of the treatment agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers, and acrylic synthetic fibers. [Background technology]
[0002] Acrylic synthetic fibers are made by dissolving acrylonitrile copolymers obtained from acrylonitrile and copolymerization raw materials in a solvent, spinning them by wet spinning, stretching, heat treatment, etc. Acrylic synthetic fibers have properties similar to wool among chemical fibers, and are characterized by their bulkiness and soft texture. In addition, they have excellent dyeability with cationic dyes, making them the most vividly dyed synthetic fibers, and are resistant to chemicals such as acids and alkalis, and have excellent weather resistance against deterioration by sunlight and rainwater. It is known that treatment agents for acrylic synthetic fibers contain a phosphate compound as the main component in order to obtain excellent spinnability in the spinning process of obtaining spun yarn from acrylic synthetic fibers. However, due to the characteristics of the phosphate compound, there is a problem that the formulation stability is significantly reduced when mixed with components such as nonionic surfactants and cationic surfactants. A treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers that satisfies both the spinnability in the spinning process for obtaining spun yarn from acrylic synthetic fibers and the formulation stability of the treatment agent itself has not yet been proposed. [0040] <Composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers> Using the acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agents W-1 to W-27 and w-1 to w-11 shown in Tables 1 and 2, and water as the solvent (S), the components were thoroughly mixed and homogenized based on the compositions shown in Tables 4 and 5 below to prepare compositions containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 1 to 27 and Comparative Examples 1 to 17.
[0041] <Evaluation method and criteria> (1) Evaluation of formulation stability After preparing the compositions containing a treating agent for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 1 to 27 and Comparative Examples 1 to 17, each composition was left to stand at 50° C. for 24 hours, and then the appearance was visually evaluated according to the following criteria. [Evaluation Criteria] ◎ (Good): No moisture or separation is observed and the product is in a uniform state. ◯ (Acceptable): There is some moisture or separation, but it is not enough to cause any problems as a product. × (unacceptable): Separation is severe and is problematic for the product. The term "moisture" refers to a state in which the transparency (light transmittance) of the evaluation object is reduced and the object is cloudy.
[0042] (2) Web uniformity evaluation Fineness 1.3×10 -4 The composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers was spray-applied to an acrylic synthetic fiber having a fiber length of 38 mm and a mass of 1.2 g / m (1.2 denier) so that the amount of the composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers adhered (excluding the solvent (S)) was 0.3 mass%, and the fiber was dried for 2 hours in a hot air dryer at 80° C. Thereafter, the fiber was conditioned overnight in an atmosphere of 25° C. and 40% RH to obtain a treated acrylic synthetic fiber to which the non-volatile content of the composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers adhered. 10 kg of the obtained acrylic synthetic fiber was used and subjected to a flat card (manufactured by Howa Kogyo Co., Ltd.) in an atmosphere of 30°C x 70% RH, and passed under the condition of a spinning speed of 140 m / min. The uniformity of the spun carded web was evaluated according to the following criteria. [Evaluation Criteria] ◎ (Good): No spots at all, excellent uniformity. ○ (Fair): Slight spots are observed, but this does not pose a problem for the product. × (Fail): Spots are visible and there is a problem with the product. In addition, when the composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers is applied to an acrylic synthetic fiber that is rated as "A" or "B" according to the above evaluation criteria, it means that the smoothness is good.
[0043] (3) Draw-line clogging test and evaluation of draw-line scum prevention 10 kg of treated acrylic synthetic fibers to which the non-volatile content of the composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers described in the above "(2) Evaluation method for web uniformity" was attached was used and subjected to a flat card (manufactured by Howa Kogyo Co., Ltd.) to obtain a carded sliver. The obtained carded sliver was subjected to a PDF-type drawing frame (manufactured by Ishikawa Seisakusho Co., Ltd.) in an atmosphere of 30°C x 70% RH, and passed through the frame five times repeatedly under the condition of a spinning speed of 250 m / min. The drawing clogging test was evaluated by counting the number of cloggings in the trumpet of the PDF type drawing frame and evaluating it according to the following criteria. The evaluation of the drawing scum prevention was carried out by visually observing the degree of scum in each of the rubber roller / reducer / trumpet parts and evaluating it according to the following criteria. [Evaluation criteria for the draw clogging test] ◎(Good): 0~2 times 〇(possible): 3~4 times × (Not allowed): 5 times or more [Evaluation criteria for preventing scum from drawing] ◎ (Good): Almost no scum is observed. ◯ (Fair): A small amount of scum is observed, but it is not a problem. × (Not acceptable): A large amount of scum is found and is problematic. It should be noted that a composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers adhered to acrylic synthetic fibers that have been evaluated as "◎" or "◯" in the evaluation criteria for the draw-stripping clogging test means that the composition has good bundling properties, and a composition containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers adhered to acrylic synthetic fibers that have been evaluated as "◎" or "◯" in the evaluation criteria for the draw-stripping scum prevention properties means that the composition has good shedding properties.
[0044] The compositions of the acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agent-containing compositions of Examples 1 to 27 and Comparative Examples 1 to 17, as well as the evaluation results of formulation stability, web uniformity, drawing clogging test, and drawing scum prevention, are summarized in Tables 4 and 5 below. [Table 4]
[0045] [Table 5]
[0046] As shown in Tables 4 and 5, the compositions containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 1 to 27, which are specific examples of the present invention, have excellent formulation stability when stored for long periods of time and excellent spinnability in the spinning process for obtaining spun yarn from acrylic synthetic fibers. As a result, not only can a uniform web be obtained when carding, but several card slivers can be combined to improve the uniformity of the re-drawn sliver. In addition, the compositions containing a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 1 to 27, which are specific examples of the present invention, have a low frequency of drawing clogging, can maintain the thickness of the sliver uniform, and further, since drawing scum is not observed or is only to an extent that it is not problematic, the uniformity can be improved without disturbing the sliver. On the other hand, Comparative Examples 1 to 3, 14 to 15, which do not contain a solvent (S) or are outside the range of "(phosphate compound (A) + unsaturated compound (B)) / solvent (S) = 0.1 to 2.5", Comparative Example 4 and 5, which contain a phosphate compound different from the phosphate compound (A) of the present invention, Comparative Examples 6 to 8 and 11, which do not contain the unsaturated compound (B) of the present invention or contain an unsaturated compound different from the unsaturated compound (B) of the present invention, and Comparative Examples 9, 10, 12, 13, 16 and 17, which are outside the range of "phosphate compound (A) / unsaturated compound (B) = 1.0 to 26.0", were confirmed to be inferior in web uniformity, drawing clogging test and drawing scum prevention properties, and many of them also had poor formulation stability.
[0047] Specific examples of the second embodiment of the present invention, which uses in combination a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a phosphoric acid compound (A) and an unsaturated compound (B) as essential components and that may contain oil (C) and a nonionic surfactant (D), a first treatment-agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a solvent (S), and a second treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a polyether compound (E), are shown below. Alternatively, the third embodiment, which uses a two-component treatment agent set for acrylic synthetic fibers that includes a treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a phosphoric acid compound (A) and an unsaturated compound (B) as essential components and that may contain oil (C) and a nonionic surfactant (D), a treatment-agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a solvent (S) as the first treatment-agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers, and a second treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers that contains a polyether compound (E), are shown below. The compositions of acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agents X-1 to X-9 and X-11 to X-14, which contain a phosphoric acid compound (A) and an unsaturated compound (B) as essential components and may also contain an oil (C) and a nonionic surfactant (D), are shown in the following Table 6. Details of components (A) to (D) and (F) are the same as those in Tables 1 and 2 above. Acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agents X-1 to X-9 and X-11 to X-14 in Table 6 below have the same composition as acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agents W-1 to W-9 and W-11 to W-14 in Table 1, except for the removal of the polyether compound (E). Also, acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agent X-4 in Table 6 below has the same composition as acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agents W-4 and W-10 in Table 1, except for the removal of the polyether compound (E), so acrylic synthetic fiber treatment agent X-10 was excluded from Table 6 below.
[0048] [Table 6]
[0049] The compositions Y-1 to Y-9 and Y-11 to Y-14 containing the treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers shown in Table 6 and water as the solvent (S) are shown in Table 7 below. In addition, the above-mentioned "Evaluation of Formulation Stability" was carried out on the obtained first treatment agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers, and the evaluation results based on the same evaluation criteria are also shown in Table 7. As shown in Table 7, it was confirmed that the formulation stability of the first treatment agent-containing compositions for acrylic synthetic fibers Y-1 to Y-9 and Y-11 to Y-14 was good.
[0050] [Table 7]
[0051] Second treating agents Z-1 to Z-6 for acrylic synthetic fibers containing a polyether compound (E) are shown in the following Table 8. Details of the polyether compound (E) are the same as those in Tables 1 and 2 above.
[0052] [Table 8]
[0053] The following Table 9 shows the compositions of Examples 28 to 41 each consisting of the first treatment agent-containing compositions for acrylic synthetic fibers Y-1 to Y-9, Y-11 to Y-14 shown in Table 7 and the second treatment agents for acrylic synthetic fibers Z-1 to Z-6 shown in Table 8, in which the first treatment agent-containing compositions for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 28 to 41 are used in combination with the second treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers containing a polyether compound (E), or the compositions of the two-component treatment agent sets for acrylic synthetic fibers. In addition, for the two-component treatment agent sets for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 28 to 41, the above-mentioned "evaluation of web uniformity" and "evaluation of drawing clogging test and drawing scum prevention" were carried out, and the evaluation results based on the same evaluation criteria are also shown in Table 9.
[0054] [Table 9]
[0055] As shown in Table 9, the second / third embodiment of the present invention, which is the combination of the first treatment agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 28 to 41 and the second treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers containing a polyether compound (E), or the two-component treatment agent set for acrylic synthetic fibers, has excellent formulation stability when stored for a long period of time and is excellent in spinnability in the spinning process for obtaining spun yarn from acrylic synthetic fibers, and therefore can obtain a uniform web when carded, and can also improve the uniformity of the re-drawn sliver by combining several card slivers. In addition, in the embodiment in which the first treatment agent-containing composition for acrylic synthetic fibers of Examples 28 to 41 is used in combination with the second treatment agent for acrylic synthetic fibers containing a polyether compound (E), or the two-component treatment agent set for acrylic synthetic fibers, the number of drawing cloggings is reduced, the thickness of the sliver can be kept uniform, and further, since no drawing scum is observed, the uniformity of the sliver can be improved without disturbing the sliver.
