Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a solid powder cosmetic which is produced by a wet molding method in which the solvent is removed from a mixture of a cosmetic base and a solvent, and which does not crack or shrink after the solvent is removed. [Background technology]
[0002] Solid powder cosmetics are a dosage form that is widely used for foundations, eye shadows, etc., due to advantages such as portability and ease of application. There are two methods for molding solid powder cosmetics: a dry molding method in which a powder and an oil are mixed, filled into a container, and then molded under pressure, and a wet manufacturing method in which a volatile solvent is added to a cosmetic base consisting of a powder and an oil, mixed to form a slurry, filled into a container, and molded by removing the volatile solvent. Solid powder cosmetics obtained by the wet manufacturing method are excellent in that the powder is arranged in a more dense and orderly manner by being made into a slurry, resulting in a smooth feel when used and a uniform cosmetic film.
[0003] In the wet manufacturing method, the process of removing the volatile solvent is roughly divided into two stages. It is a suction removal during compression molding, and a drying process after compression molding. When the affinity between the cosmetic base and the solvent is high, the compatibility is high, so the solvent is difficult to remove during the compression molding process. This tendency is particularly noticeable when a volatile oil is used as the solvent. If the volatile solvent cannot be adequately removed during compression molding, a large amount of the volatile solvent will be removed during the drying process. In this case, since the volatile solvent is removed after the powder has already been arranged in an orderly manner, there is a problem that the cosmetic after drying has cracks, surface irregularities, shrinkage, and other poor appearances. Therefore, in the wet manufacturing method, the quality of the final product is greatly affected by how well the solvent can be removed during compression molding, before the powder is arranged in an orderly manner, that is, by improving the efficiency of solvent removal, rather than the drying process after compression molding.
[0004] Incidentally, suppression of cracking and shrinkage of a cosmetic material is sometimes expressed as the term impact resistance. However, even if the term impact resistance is used uniformly, it can mean the drop strength when the cosmetic material is dropped, or it can mean suppression of cracking and shrinkage after solvent removal in a wet manufacturing process. The former is intended to avoid problems during use after the cosmetic material is marketed, and generally solves the problem mainly by absorbing external forces applied to the cosmetic material. The latter is intended to avoid problems during the production of the cosmetic material, and generally solves the problem mainly by improving the efficiency of solvent removal. The issue in this application refers to the latter, cracking and shrinkage after solvent removal.
[0005] Various efforts have been made to improve the cracking and shrinkage that occurs after the solvent is removed. For example, it has been disclosed that when fluorine-modified silicone oil, silicone wax, silicone oil, or a compound having a hydrophilic group and a lipophilic group, in which the lipophilic group is a two-chain type, is used (Patent Document 1), or when silicone oil agents or amino-modified silicone-treated powders are used (Patent Document 2), the solvent removal efficiency is good and impact resistance is excellent. However, all of the prior patents use silicone oil as an essential ingredient, which reduces compatibility with the solvent and improves the efficiency of solvent removal, and although the products provide a smooth finish, they do not provide a sufficiently moist feel.
[0006] On the other hand, it has been disclosed that the use sensation and impact resistance are excellent when fluorine-treated talc, hydrophobized silica, hydrophobized fine titanium oxide particles, and water-holding oil agents are blended (Patent Document 3). However, the impact resistance in Patent Document 3 refers to the drop strength when the cosmetic is dropped, which is different from the problem to be solved by the present application.
[0007] As a technology using polyurethane-79, Patent Document 4 discloses a solid cosmetic preparation that has a good feel when used, such as spreadability, and excellent impact resistance, when oil-soluble polyurethane, fluorine-modified silicone resin, volatile oil, and powder are blended. However, the impact resistance in Patent Document 4 refers to the impact resistance when the cosmetic preparation is dropped (see paragraph 0059), which is different from the problem of the present application. In addition, Patent Document 4 contains a large amount of volatile oil and silicone oil, and the moist feeling is insufficient. If a large amount of oil such as hydrocarbon oil or ester oil is blended from this composition to impart a moist feeling, the solvent removal efficiency becomes poor, and there is a problem that cracks, surface unevenness, and shrinkage are observed. [0008] [Patent Document 1] JP 2022-156111 A [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 7227917 [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 6945809 [Patent Document 4] JP 2022-152038 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0009] The present invention aims to provide a solid powder cosmetic which is produced by a wet molding method in which the solvent is removed from a mixture of a cosmetic base and a solvent, does not crack or shrink after the solvent is removed, and can impart a moist feel. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] As a result of intensive research, the inventors discovered that by combining (A) polyurethane-79, (B) fluorine-modified silicone-treated powder, (C) ester oil, and (D) spherical powder (excluding component (B)), it is possible to obtain a solid cosmetic preparation that is free of cracks and shrinkage with good solvent removal efficiency, and thus completed the present invention.
[0011] That is, the present invention comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) Polyurethane-79 (B) Fluorine-modified silicone-treated powder (C) Ester oil (D) Spherical powder (excluding component (B)) The solid powder cosmetic is obtained by removing the solvent from a mixture of a cosmetic base containing the above-mentioned component (I) and a solvent. Effect of the Invention
[0012] The present invention can provide a solid powder cosmetic which is produced by a wet molding method in which the solvent is removed from a mixture of a cosmetic base and a solvent, and which does not crack or shrink after the solvent is removed. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THEINVENTION
[0013] The present invention will be described in more detail below. Unless otherwise noted, the amount of each component is expressed as "%" below, meaning mass%. In this specification, when a numerical range is expressed using ~, the range includes both ends of the numerical range.
[0014] Although the details of the principle of the present invention are unclear, it is believed that by reducing the compatibility between the cosmetic ingredients and the solvent, the cosmetic ingredients do not hold the solvent, and the solvent can be efficiently removed during compression molding. In this application, it is presumed that by blending a fluorine-modified silicone-treated powder and turning a part or all of the blended oil into an oil gel, the compatibility between the cosmetic ingredients and the solvent is reduced, achieving more efficient solvent removal. In this application, the term "good solvent removal efficiency" refers to the appropriate amount of solvent removal during compression molding.
[0015] In the present invention, component (A) Polyurethane-79 is a component that forms an oil gel together with component (C) ester oil described below. The component (A) polyurethane-79 used in the present invention is a polyurethane in which both ends of a copolymer having a hard segment block of 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), a linear aliphatic diisocyanate, and 1,4-butane dihydric alcohol, a linear extendable dihydric alcohol, which is polyurethane formed by urethane bonds, and a soft segment block of hydrogenated dilinoleyl alcohol and hydrogenated polybutane dihydric alcohol, are blocked with stearyl alcohol. Due to the polarity of the polyurethane block, a physical network is formed in the oil by association via hydrogen bonds between polymer-polymer and polymer-oil. It is believed that gelation occurs when an oil is incorporated into this three-dimensional network structure. Polyurethane-79 has higher alcohol residues at its ends, which improves its solubility in various oils. The polyurethane-79 (A) used in the present invention can be easily and uniformly dissolved by dissolving it in a liquid oil to form a gel composition.
[0016] The component (A) polyurethane-79 of the present invention may be a single compound or a mixture containing polyurethane-79. For example, a commercially available product, OILKEMIA 5S CC (manufactured by LUBRIZOL), may be used. The composition contains 30% of (A) polyurethane-79 and 70% of tri(caprylic acid / capric acid)glyceryl as a liquid oil. When it is blended in cosmetics in Japan, it is common to display the blended ingredients as 70% tri(caprylic acid / capric acid)glyceryl, 25% hydrogenated polyolefin (C6-20), and 5% (HDI / trimethylol hexyl lactone) crosspolymer.
[0017] The amount of polyurethane-79 (A) in the solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, but it is desirable that the amount in the cosmetic is 0.01 to 1.5%, preferably 0.02 to 0.9%, and more preferably 0.03 to 0.3% in terms of pure content. This range is preferable because the viscosity of the oil gel formed when it is present together with the ester oil (C) is not too high and it is easily dispersed when added to a solvent.
[0018] Component (A), which is an essential component of the present invention, can gel component (C). When the ratio of component (A) to component (C) is high, a hard gel is formed, and when it is low, a soft gel is formed. The ratio of component (A) to component (C) is preferably in the range of 1:10 to 1:300. This range is preferable because it provides appropriate dispersibility in the solvent, has good solvent removal efficiency, and provides a good moist feeling.
[0019] The fluorine-modified silicone-treated powder (B) of the present invention is not particularly limited. The base powder may be one that is normally used in cosmetics, and there is no particular limit to the shape (plate-like or spherical) or particle size. Examples include talc, mica, sericite, silica, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, and nylon. The fluorine-modified silicone treatment agent (B), which is the surface treatment agent, is not particularly limited as long as it is normally used in cosmetics. Examples include perfluorooctylethoxysilane, perfluorocapryltriethoxysilylethylmethicone, trifluoropropyltrimethoxysilane, tridecafluorooctyltrimethoxysilane, and heptadecafluorodecyltriethoxysilane, but it is preferable to treat with perfluorooctylethoxysilane because it provides a better solvent removal efficiency and a smooth feel when used.
[0020] The amount of component (B) in the solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, but the total amount in the cosmetic is preferably 10 to 50%, and more preferably 20 to 40%, which is preferable because it provides better solvent removal efficiency and a smooth feel when used.
[0021] The component (C) ester oil of the present invention is a compound of a higher fatty acid and a higher alcohol, or a compound of a higher fatty acid and glycerin. The component (C) of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is one that is usually used in cosmetics. For example, octyldodecyl myristate, 2-ethylhexyl palmitate, tri(caprylic acid / capric acid) glyceryl, diisostearyl malate, trimethylolpropane triisostearate, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, dipentaerythrityl tetra(hydroxystearate / isostearate), polyglyceryl-2 hexyltriisostearate, cetyl 2-ethylhexanoate, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, octocrylene, triethylhexanoin, etc. are mentioned, but paste oils such as dipentaerythrityl tetra(hydroxystearate / isostearate) are preferred because they provide a better moist feeling.
[0022] In the present invention, component (C) ester oil not only imparts a moist feeling, but also functions as a component that forms an oil gel with the above-mentioned component (A) polyurethane-79. Therefore, it is not necessary for the entire amount of component (C) to be blended to form an oil gel, and the blending ratio of the oil gel in component (C) can be appropriately selected.
[0023] The amount of component (C) in the solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, but the total amount in the cosmetic is 3 to 20%, preferably 4 to 15%, and more preferably 5 to 10%. This range is preferable because it provides an appropriate moist feeling.
[0024] In the present invention, the spherical powder (D) (excluding component (B)) may be any powder that is normally used in cosmetics, and is not particularly limited to a particle structure such as non-porous or porous. Examples include silica, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, alumina, aluminum hydroxide, barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, nylon, polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polymethylmethacrylate silicone resin, vinyl resin, fluororesin, silicon resin, acrylic resin, melamine resin, cellulose, starch, etc., and one or more of these may be used regardless of the shape or particle size.
[0025] The amount of component (D) in the solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, but the total amount in the cosmetic is desirably 3 to 30%, preferably 10 to 20%, which is preferable because excellent solvent removal efficiency and a smoother feel can be obtained within this range.
[0026] The solvent used in the present invention is preferably one or a mixture of two or more selected from volatile oily solvents such as isododecane, hydrogenated polyisobutene, dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, etc., and volatile aqueous solvents such as water, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, etc. Furthermore, volatile oily solvents are preferred because they provide a good moist feeling.
[0027] Furthermore, in the present invention, in order to make the cosmetic base into a uniform slurry using a volatile solvent, it is preferable to use 50 to 100% by mass of the solvent relative to 100% by mass of the cosmetic base. A mixture formed at this ratio is preferable because it is easy to fill a container and the cosmetic base is easily dispersed in the solvent. The cosmetic base referred to in the present invention refers to a mixture of powder components, oils, and other optional components, and refers to the entire cosmetic before mixing with a volatile solvent.
[0028] In addition to the above-mentioned components, the composition of the present invention can also contain components that are generally used in cosmetics, etc., if necessary. For example, additives other than the essential components of the present application, such as extender pigments, coloring pigments, pearlescent agents, liquid oils, solid oils, paste oils, ultraviolet absorbers, surfactants, moisturizers, fragrances, bactericides, preservatives, antioxidants, ultraviolet scattering agents, anti-inflammatory agents, herbal extracts, vitamins, etc., can be appropriately blended in. The blending ratio when these components are contained can be appropriately selected according to their types and purposes, and one type may be used alone, or two or more types may be used in appropriate combination.
[0029] The form of the solid powder cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, and any form used in conventional cosmetics can be widely applied, such as makeup cosmetics such as face powder, foundation, blush, eye shadow, etc., hair cosmetics, body cosmetics, etc. EXAMPLES
