Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The invention relates to a lifting and transporting device according to the preamble of claim 1. [Background technology]

[0002] According to the present application, pretension of a bolted connection is understood to be both friction- and torsion-free pretension (wherein an exclusively tensile force is applied to the threaded bolt and the threaded nut is then turned) and rotational pretension (e.g. by the torque method or the rotation angle method).

[0003] Accordingly, according to the present application a bolting tool is understood to be both a bolting tool that applies a tension force (e.g. a bolt tensioning cylinder) and a rotary bolting tool (e.g. a torque wrench or a nut runner), and the bolting tool may be an automatic or a manual bolting tool.

[0004] Furthermore, correspondingly, the tightening position is understood to be the attitude or position of the bolt tightening tool in which the bolt tightening tool can pretension the bolted connection.

[0005] According to the present application, load-receiving space is understood to be the space occupied by the load to be lifted or transported, i.e. the space occupied by the bolting tool.

[0006] A typical lifting and carrying device is known from DE 10 2012009255 A1. Such a device can be used to pretension bolted connections in flange joints, in which threaded bolts are inserted from below into aligned through-holes in the components to be connected until the bolt heads rest against the flange undersides of the components to be connected, and a nut is manually screwed onto the threaded end of the bolt in the upper flange part until it rests against the upper flange part. A bolting tool is held by the lifting and carrying device above the upper flange part, positioned above the bolted connection to be pretensioned and lowered onto the bolted connection to be pretensioned. After the bolted connection has been pretensioned, the bolting tool is lifted up again by the lifting and carrying device and moved to the next bolted connection.

[0007] From German Patent No. 102019200042 (B3) a lifting and transporting device is known which can pretension bolted connections in flange joints, in which a threaded bolt is inserted from above into a through hole in the flanges to be connected to one another and a nut is manually screwed onto the threaded bolt in the underside of the flange.

[0008] DE 102022105559 B3 discloses a lifting and carrying device with which a bolting tool can be engaged with a bolted connection on the upper and / or lower flange side of an inclined flange.

[0009] From Korean Patent Publication No. 1020130026039(A) a maintenance robot for tightening, inspecting and marking screws in flange joints of wind turbines is known. The maintenance robot is located in front of the flange front side and includes upper and lower arms for holding and tightening the screws. Furthermore, the maintenance robot includes supports for engaging with the top and bottom of the flange to stabilize the movement of the maintenance robot when moving along the flange. [0010] [Patent Document 1] German Patent Application Publication No. 102012009255 [Patent Document 2] German Patent No. 102019200042 [Patent Document 3] German Patent No. 102022105559 [Patent Document 4] Korean Patent Publication No. 1020130026039 Summary of the Invention

[0011] The object of the invention is to improve safety when handling lifting and transporting devices of this kind.

[0012] According to the invention, this object is achieved with a device as described above by means of the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

[0013] By the means of the invention, the lifting and carrying device and the bolting tool fixed thereto cannot fly out of the assembly station in the event of a break in the pretensioned bolted connection or in the connection between the bolting tool and the pretensioned bolted connection during the pretensioning operation, and thus cannot injure people, in particular the assembly worker operating the lifting and carrying device and the bolting tool. Such breaks cannot be excluded, since they occur in the presence of material defects. During the pretensioning operation, the applied pretension acts on both the lifting and carrying device, the bolting tool and the bolted connection, which pretension is suddenly released in the event of the aforementioned break, resulting in a sudden acceleration of the bolting tool and the lifting and carrying device connected thereto. The bolt tightening tool is functionally connected to a tension anchor which is releasably connected to the flange or to at least one bolted connection when the lifting and carrying device is attached to the flange, thereby, on the one hand, securing both the bolt tightening tool and the lifting and carrying device connected thereto against uncontrolled lifting from the flange, and, on the other hand, making it possible to quickly move the lifting and carrying device to the next pretensioned bolted connection after pretensioning the bolted connection.

[0014] Here, the term "functionally" means that the tension anchor does not have to be directly attached to the bolting tool, but can also be indirectly connected to the bolting tool, for example by means of a frame.

[0015] The invention takes advantage of the fact that during pretensioning, only one of the lifting and carrying device and the bolting tool needs to be connected to the tension anchor in order to be rigidly connected to each other and thus secure both against uncontrolled lifting.

[0016] Furthermore, according to the invention, the tensioning anchor is designed in such a way that in the event of such breakage, the lifting path of the bolting tool is limited to a predefined dimension in the lifting direction, ensuring that the bolting tool has sufficient freedom of movement in the pulling or lifting direction to a predefined dimension in normal operation during a tensioning operation, i.e. that the bolting tool can, for example, pass unhindered through the maximum lifting path of the lifting and transporting device or the lifting path required for the respective tensioning operation.

[0017] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor comprises an L-shaped web designed with a first part extending along the flange front side and a second part extending along the flange underside transversely to the first part, the second part not exceeding a predetermined maximum clearance distance to the flange underside at least in a partial section, the L-shaped web being of flexurally rigid design and connected flexurally to the frame, designed to restrict the lifting path of the frame to a second predetermined dimension in the lifting direction by a form fit between the flange underside and at least said partial section of the second part of the L-shaped web. By these measures, the tension anchor is of a very easy to assemble type, and is also already operatively mounted during the normal pressing of the lifting and carrying device against the flange for the purpose of pretensioning and during the normal pressing of the lifting and carrying device against the next bolted connection after pretensioning. Here, the tension anchor is attached to the frame, which allows the bolting tool to move freely within the frame in its lifting path, while the bolting tool is rigidly connected to the frame by attachment to a movable holder, thereby securing it against uncontrolled lifting.

[0018] Advantageously, the L-shaped web comprises two L-shaped web sections which are spaced apart from one another in the conveying direction and extend parallel to one another, in this way ensuring stability against tilting about an axis extending perpendicular to the conveying direction and parallel to the flanges, so that in the event of a problematic breakage the longitudinal alignment of the lifting and carrying device including the bolting tool is substantially maintained and therefore no significant damage to the lifting and carrying device and the bolting tool, which may occur in the event of tipping, can occur.

[0019] In a preferred development of the invention, the second part of the L-shaped web is designed to terminate in front of the bolt connection, which allows the effort required to manufacture the tension anchor to be kept relatively low.

[0020] In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second parts of the two L-shaped webs are each designed with at least one partial section for engaging with the rear of the bolted connection adjacent to the bolted connection to be pretensioned, said rear-engaging partial section being a partial section that does not exceed a predefined maximum clearance distance from the flange underside. By these measures, the lifting and transporting device is further secured against slipping off the flange front side perpendicular to the transport direction and at the same time against tilting about an axis parallel to the transport direction, since the rear-engaging partial section of the bolted connection rests against the rear-engaging bolted connection or against a construction wall extending downwards from the flange, depending on the tilt direction.

[0021] Preferably, the L-shaped web is further designed in cooperation with the first support bearing bearing against the upper part of the flange to form a C-shaped bending-rigid structure which, by a form fit with the flange, limits the tilt angle of the frame about an axis parallel to the conveying direction to a predefined dimension in the event of breakage of the pretensioned bolted connection or of the connection between the bolt tightening tool and the pretensioned bolted connection, respectively, thereby further improving the stability against tilting and the absorbing tilting moment.

[0022] In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor includes at least one tension element portion attached to the frame, the tension element portion including a threaded connector portion that is threadably engageable with a threaded end of a bolt connection protruding from a threaded nut on the flange upper portion. Such a tension anchor can likewise be manufactured at low cost and can be installed relatively quickly.

[0023] Preferably, the frame comprises a transverse strut extending above the pretensioned bolted connection when the lifting and carrying device is attached to the flange, and the tension element extends laterally across the transverse strut from the side facing the flange front side to the side facing away from the flange front side and is screwable with the threaded ends of the bolted connections protruding from the threaded nuts on both sides of the frame. By these measures, the manufacturing and assembly costs of the tension anchor are further significantly reduced.

[0024] In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor is formed from two separate tension element parts, each attached to one of the frame parts, and comprising a threaded connector part that can be screwed into a threaded end of a bolt connection protruding from a threaded nut on the flange upper part. Such a tension anchor is on the one hand simple to manufacture and easy to install, and on the other hand operationally reliable, since in the event of breakage of one tension element part, the other tension element part can still fulfill its function.

[0025] Preferably, each threaded connector part is provided with a quick release or clamping mechanism, by means of which the connection with the threaded end protruding from the threaded nut can be quickly made and released again, which allows further shortening of the assembly time.

[0026] Preferably, at least the second support bearing is magnetic, in this way the lifting and carrying device can be brought into better contact with the construction wall and tilting can be prevented in the event of breakage of the pretensioned bolted connection or of the connection between the bolt tightening tool and the pretensioned bolted connection.

[0027] The invention will now be explained in more detail by way of examples with reference to the figures, in which: [Brief description of the drawings]

[0029] The figures show an embodiment of the lifting and carrying device according to the invention for use with a bolt tensioning cylinder, however, by simple structural modifications the lifting and carrying device according to the invention can be used with any other automatic or manual bolt tightening tool.

[0030] An embodiment of a lifting and transporting device 1 according to the invention, as shown in the figures, comprises a frame 2, a holding means 3, a lifting means 4, first, second and third support bearings 5, 6, 7 and an auxiliary support bearing 8. The lifting direction is indicated by reference number 9 and the transporting direction is indicated by reference number 10.

[0031] The frame 2 is formed from two frame parts 11, 12, which are arranged before and after the receiving space 14 in the conveying direction 10 on a flange upper side 13 and extend perpendicular to the conveying direction 10 next to and above the receiving space 14. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, the clearance distance between the two frame parts 11, 12 is designed to accommodate a bolted connection 15 and a bolt-tensioning cylinder 16 attached thereto (Figures 5, 11 and 16).

[0032] The frame parts 11, 12 are formed respectively from a first and a second frame part 11a, 11b; 12a, 12b. The first frame parts 11a, 12a are each L-shaped. Their first ends are respectively arranged in the area between the flange front part 17 and the bolted connection 15. From there, the first frame parts 11a, 12a first extend upwards and then over the bolted connection 15 adjacent to the bolted connection 15a to be pretensioned. There, their second ends are flexurally rigidly connected, for example by screwing, to the first ends of the second frame parts 11b, 12b, respectively. The second frame parts 11b, 12b extend longitudinally over the upper part 16a of the accommodated bolt tensioning cylinder 16.

[0033] The first ends, which are the free ends of the first frame portions 11a, 12a, are connected to each other by a lower horizontal strut portion 18, and the second ends, which are the free ends of the second frame portions 11b, 12b, are connected to each other by an upper horizontal strut portion 19.

[0034] The second frame parts 11b, 12b are each formed with an elongated hole 20 extending in their longitudinal direction, in which the holding means 3 is movably attached. The holding means 3 is configured as a strut extending in the transport direction, and both ends thereof are movably attached to the elongated hole 20. The holding means 3 includes an attachment for the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 in its longitudinal center for lowering the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 before pretensioning the bolt connection 15a and for hoisting the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 from the bolt connection 15a after pretensioning.

[0035] The lifting means 4 is attached to the second frame parts 11b, 12b. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, the lifting means 4 comprises a gas pressure spring 21 on each of the second frame parts 11b, 12b, a first end 22 of which is immovably attached near the first end of the second frame part 11b, 12b, respectively, and a second end 23 of which is connected to the end of the holding means 3 on the side facing away from the load-receiving space 14 of the second frame part 11b, 12b, respectively. The bolting tool 16, i.e. in the illustrated case a bolt tension cylinder, is pushed upwards against gravity by the gas pressure spring 21 after pretensioning / releasing the bolted connection 15a. The bolting tool 16 is immovably connected to the holding means 3. For example, the bolting tool 16 can be screwed into the holding means 3 or held magnetically or matingly by the holding means 3 (for example by a lock bolt).

[0036] A first support roller 24 is rotatably mounted at each end of the lower transverse strut section 18, the rotation axis of which extends transversely, perpendicular to the conveying direction 10. The two first support rollers 24 together form a first support roller pair, which is designed to contact the upper side 13 of the flange 25 and form a first support bearing 5.

[0037] As used herein, the term "flange 25" refers to a flange joint or combination that includes an upper flange and a lower flange. The flange 25 can be straight or ring-shaped in the form of an inner or outer annulus.

[0038] The support direction 5a of the first support bearings 5 runs in the lifting direction 9, perpendicular to the conveying direction 10. These support rollers 24 bear against the upper side 13 of the flange 25, between the bolted connection 15 and the flange edge 26, so that they can roll between the screw nut 27 and the flange edge 26 when rolling onto the adjacent bolted connection 15.

[0039] Near the second free ends of the two second frame parts 11b, 12b, second support rollers 28 are respectively mounted on the upper transverse strut parts 19 for rotation about a rotation axis 29, which extends vertically perpendicular to the conveying direction 10. These together form a second support roller pair. The second support roller pair is designed for horizontal contact with a component wall 30 extending vertically from the flange 25 and forms a second support bearing 6. The support direction 6a of the second support bearing 6 extends perpendicular to the conveying direction 10, perpendicular to the lifting direction 9, i.e. perpendicular to the support direction 5a. The support rollers 28 rest against the component wall 30 above the ends of the bolted connections 15a, so that they can roll unhindered on the component wall 30 in the conveying direction 10. The second support rollers 28 are each laterally movable by a predefined dimension transverse to the conveying direction 10 in order to ensure a stable contact with the component wall 30. These can be locked in the desired horizontal position by a locking device. Furthermore, the second support rollers 28 can be of the magnetic type, which allows the lifting and transporting device 1 to have a better contact with the construction wall 30 and prevents tilting which would otherwise be caused by damage to the pretensioned bolted connection 15a or to the connection between the bolt tightening tool 16 and the bolted connection 15a.

[0040] The first and second support roller pairs, i.e. the first and second support bearings 5,6, have a distance from each other in the lifting direction 9 which substantially corresponds to the length of the frame parts 11, 12. The distance between them, perpendicular to the conveying direction 10 and the lifting direction 9, substantially corresponds to the horizontal extent of the first frame part 11a, 12a.

[0041] Furthermore, near the first free ends of the two first frame parts 11a, 12a, third support rollers 32 are respectively rotatably mounted on tab parts 31, which are in turn rigidly mounted on the lower transverse strut parts 18, with their rotation axes 33 running vertically perpendicular to the conveying direction 10. This third support roller pair is designed for horizontal contact with the flange front side 17 and forms a third support bearing 7. The support direction 7a of the third support bearing 7 runs parallel to the support direction 6a of the second support bearing 6. These support rollers 32 are horizontally movable transversely to the conveying direction 10 in respective elongated holes 34 in the tab parts 31 in order to ensure contact with the flange front side 17. They can be locked in the desired horizontal position by further locking devices 35.

[0042] The first frame parts 11a, 12a are each fitted with an auxiliary support bearing 8 which is designed to engage the rear of the pretensioned bolted connection 15a and the adjacent bolted connection 15. The auxiliary support bearings 8 are adjustable by means of adjustment devices both in horizontal and vertical positions, respectively, to ensure stable contact with the adjacent bolted connection 15. They can be locked in the desired horizontal and vertical positions by further locking devices (not shown).

[0043] The exemplary embodiment of the lifting and carrying device 1 as shown in Figures 1 to 5 comprises a tension anchor 40 configured as an L-shaped web rigidly attached to the tab portion 31. The L-shaped web 40 is formed from two parallel L-shaped web sections 41, 42 spaced apart from each other in the conveying direction, each with a first section 41a, 42a extending along the flange front side 17 with the lifting and carrying device 1 inserted and a second section 41b, 42b extending along the flange underside 36 transversely to the first section 41a, 42a. The first sections 41a, 42a are connected to each other at both ends by upper and lower strut sections 43, 44 to form a frame that is not easily deformed in the conveying direction, to which the tab portion 31, to which the third support roller 32 is also attached, is attached.

[0044] The second parts 41b, 42b are rigidly connected to this frame 41a, 42a, 43, 44 and extend parallel to the flange underside 36 to a predetermined distance in front of the bolted connection 15. The parts 41b, 42b respectively comprise, on the side facing the flange underside 36, face plates 45, 46 on the partial sections 41c, 42, parallel to the flange underside 36 at a predetermined clearance distance from the flange underside 36.

[0045] The second portions 41b, 42b and the lower strut portion 44 are attached to the first portions 41a, 42a in a height adjustable manner so that the tension anchor 40, configured as an L-shaped web, can be easily adapted to flanges of different thicknesses.

[0046] In case of breakage of the pretensioned bolt connection 15a during the pretensioning operation or of the connection between the bolt tightening tool 16 and the pretensioned bolt connection 15a, the bolt tightening tool 16 moves upwards in the lifting direction 9 within the lifting and carrying device 1 until it abuts against the upper transverse strut part 19, thereby exerting an upward force on the lifting and carrying device 1, which is lifted from the flange upper part 13. The face plates 45, 46 of the second parts 41b, 42b of the L-shaped web parts 41, 42 abut against the flange lower part 36, which form-fit limits the lifting path of the lifting and carrying device 1 and thus also of the bolt tightening tool 16 attached to it.

[0047] The clearance distance 47 between the second portions 41b, 42b and the flange underside 36 is designed so that the lifting path of the bolt tightening tool 16 as a whole, including the lifting path of the lifting and transporting device 1, does not exceed a predetermined dimension.

[0048] Furthermore, the form fit between the face plates 45, 46 of the second parts 41b, 42b of the L-shaped webs 41, 42 and the flange lower part 36 in cooperation with the auxiliary support bearing 8 which engages with the rear of the pretensioned bolted connection 15a and the adjacent bolted connection 15 on the flange upper part 13 results in a continuous, bending-rigid connection, a C-shaped, bending-rigid structure from the second parts 41b, 42b to the auxiliary support bearing 8, which can absorb tilting moments. In this way, tilting of the lifting and transporting device 1 beyond the flange edge 26 is prevented.

[0049] In the exemplary embodiment as shown in FIGS. 6-11, the tension anchor 40 is substantially similarly L-shaped with the following modifications compared to the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 1-5.

[0050] The first portions 41a, 42a extend beyond the flange upper side portion 13. One end of each of the connecting web portions 48, 49 is rigidly attached to each of the first ends, and the other ends of the connecting web portions 48, 49 are rigidly attached to the first frame portions 11a, 12a.

[0051] The first parts 41a, 42a extend beyond the third support roller 32 and, when the lifting and carrying device is inserted, beyond the flange underside 36 to such an extent that the second parts 41b, 42b can extend towards the construction wall 30 beyond the pretensioned bolted connection 15a and the adjacent bolted connection 15. At their free ends, respectively, plates 50, 51 are flexurally rigidly attached, which are arranged to extend between said bolted connection 15 and the construction wall 30 towards the flange underside 36, i.e. to engage behind said bolted connection 15.

[0052] In this exemplary embodiment, the clearance distance 47 between the plates 50, 51 and the flange lower portion 36 is similarly designed so that the lifting path of the bolt tightening tool 16 (including the lifting path of the lifting and transporting device 1) does not exceed a predetermined dimension in the event of damage to the pretensioned bolt connection 15a or damage to the connection between the bolt tightening tool 16 and the pretensioned bolt connection 15a during the pretensioning operation.

[0053] Furthermore, in cooperation with the auxiliary support bearing 8 which engages with the rear of the pretensioned bolt connection 15a and the adjacent bolt connection 15 on the flange upper part 13, the form fit of the plates 50, 51 with the flange lower part 36 and the plates 50, 51 allows the tilting moment to be absorbed in the same way, thereby preventing tilting of the lifting and transporting device 1 beyond the flange edge 26.

[0054] In the embodiment shown in Figures 12 to 16, the tension anchor 40 includes a flexible tension element portion 52 extending laterally across the upper lateral strut portion 19 of the lifting and transporting device 1 from the side facing the flange front side portion 17 to the side facing away from the flange front side portion 17 and including a threaded connector portion 53 at each end which is threadably engageable with the threaded end of the bolt connection portion 15 protruding from the threaded nut 27 on the flange upper side portion 13.

[0055] With the lifting and transporting device 1 inserted, these threaded connectors 53 on either side of the frame 2 are screwed into the threaded ends of the bolt connections 15 directly adjacent thereto.

[0056] In another exemplary embodiment (not shown), the tension anchor 40 is formed from two separate tension element portions each attached to one of the frame portions 11, 12, and the two separate tension element portions include a threaded connector portion 53 that can be threadedly engaged with a threaded end of the bolt connection portion 15 protruding from the threaded nut 27 on the flange upper portion 13, similar to the exemplary embodiment of Figures 12-16.

[0057] It is conceivable that each threaded connector part 53 is provided with a quick release or clamping mechanism, by means of which the connection with the threaded end projecting from the threaded nut 27 can be quickly made and released again.

[0058] In figures 5, 11 and 16 the lifting and transporting device 1 of figures 1 to 4, 6 to 10 and 12 to 15 is shown being used during the manufacture of threaded flange joints. The bolt-tensioning cylinder 16 rests on the upper part 13 of the flange 25 and on the threaded nut 27 of the pretensioned bolted connection 15a and is in force engagement with the end area of the threaded bolt. The two frame parts 11, 12 are arranged on either side of the bolt-tensioning cylinder 16 in the transport direction 10. The first, second and third support roller pairs 5, 6, 7 bear against the upper part 13 of the flange 25, against the construction wall 30 and against the flange front part 17. The two auxiliary support bearings 8 engage with the rear of the bolted connection 15 adjacent to the pretensioned bolted connection 15a. The holding means 3 is attached to the bolt-tensioning cylinder 16.

[0059] The threaded bolt is now pretensioned. After completion of the tensioning operation, the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 is released from the bolt end and the holding means 3 and the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 attached thereto are moved upwards by the gas pressure spring 21 to such an extent that the lower edge of the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 is located above the threaded bolt end of the now pretensioned bolted connection 15a. The lifting and transporting device 1 and the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 attached thereto can now be moved or rolled freely to the next bolted connection 15 and the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 can be attached to the bolted connection 15 by retracting the gas pressure cylinder 21 again.
