Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a spectrum analyzer that analyzes a signal under test and displays a waveform of a spectrum characteristic together with a frequency marker based on the analysis result, and a method for setting the position of the frequency marker. [Background technology]
[0002] As is well known, a spectrum analyzer extracts frequency components in a preset frequency band from a signal under test (input signal), analyzes the spectrum characteristics, and displays a waveform of the spectrum characteristics on a display unit based on the analysis results.
[0003] Regarding the display control of the spectrum characteristics in a spectrum analyzer, for example, a method is known in which a waveform (graph) showing the relationship between the frequency and the signal level of the measured signal is displayed on a two-dimensional plane having a scale of frequency on the horizontal axis and signal strength (hereinafter, signal level) on the vertical axis (for example, Patent Document 1, etc.). From the displayed graph (see FIG. 8), the user can focus on a desired band (zone) and grasp the signal level of the frequency within that zone. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-80927 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] In a spectrum analyzer that displays spectrum characteristics in a graph, the user may repeatedly switch the zone of interest on the graph to check in detail the relationship between frequency and signal level in a desired zone.
[0006] An example of the display of the spectrum characteristics in this type of conventional spectrum analyzer is shown in Fig. 12. With reference to Fig. 12, a procedure for checking the spectrum characteristics in the conventional spectrum analyzer will be described.
[0007] 12, a spectrum display screen 70 is displayed based on the analysis results of the spectrum characteristics of the signal under test, and a graph 80 of the spectrum characteristics is displayed in a graph display area 71. The spectrum display screen 70 also displays a setting status display area 72 that displays the setting status of the center frequency, frequency span, etc. related to the analysis of the spectrum characteristics, and a function menu area 73 that displays a function menu related to various settings, etc.
[0008] While the spectrum display screen 70 is being displayed, the user can narrow down the zone and check the relationship between frequency and signal level by setting, for example, dotted line areas indicated by reference numerals 81 and 82 as zone markers in association with the graph 80. The position of the zone marker, the zone width, etc. can be changed, and the process related to the change is carried out, for example, according to the following procedure.
[0009] Here, a case will be described where Marker1 is set (changed) to a zone center frequency of 5.9875 GHz and a zone width of 1 MHz. In the following description, physical keys (including the F1 key (GHz) and F2 key (MHz)) are assumed to be keys on a keyboard, for example. Also, the Marker main function menu displayed in the function menu area 73 in FIG. 12 consists of two pages, and the one displayed in FIG. 12 is the first page.
[0010] In this case, the user presses the Marker key (physical key). Next, the user presses the F1 key (Active Marker) in the function menu area 73, and then presses the F1 key (Marker1), and sets the active marker to 1. Next, the second page (not shown) of the Marker main function menu is displayed, and the zone center frequency item is selected. After that, the user presses 5.9875 with the physical keys (number keys), and then presses the F1 key (GHz). This sets the zone center frequency to "5.9875 GHz."
[0011] Next, display the first page of the Marker main function menu (see Figure 12) and press F6 (Zone Width). Next, press "1" on the physical key, then press F2 (MHz) to set the zone width to "1MHz."
[0012] Thus, in order to set (or change) the position of a zone marker (horizontal axis marker) in a conventional spectrum analyzer, it was necessary to perform cumbersome operations such as opening multiple function menus (other screens) required for setting and changing operations in multiple stages in the function menu area 73 of the spectrum display screen 70, opening each menu, and inputting setting values for each item. Some items required, for example, operating a physical encoder to input setting values.
[0013] As described above, in conventional spectrum analyzers, when setting the position of a horizontal axis marker (frequency marker) such as a zone marker, the user is required to open several other screens on the spectrum display screen 70 as necessary, and furthermore, to operate a physical encoder, so that the user's workload for setting the position of the frequency marker is extremely heavy.
[0014] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems in the conventional technology, and has as its object to provide a spectrum analyzer and a method for setting the position of a frequency marker efficiently with a small amount of work, without the need to open another screen or operate a physical encoder while the spectrum display screen is displayed.
[0015] In order to solve the above problems, a spectrum analyzer according to claim 1 of the present invention displays a spectrum display screen (50) having a graph area (52) defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displays in the graph area a graph (60) showing the spectrum characteristics of a measured signal analyzed by a signal analysis means (15), a frequency marker (61) having a frequency indication frame (61a) indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph, and a level marker (62) having a level indication frame (62a) indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. and an input enabled state display control means (32) for displaying the frequency indication frame in a manner indicating an input enabled state in which a desired frequency can be input in response to an operation of selecting the frequency marker by an input means (20a) while the spectrum display screen is being displayed, and a frequency marker position setting display control means (34) for accepting input of the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame by the input means when in the input enabled state, changing the position of the frequency marker on the horizontal axis to the position of the input frequency, and updating and displaying the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency indication frame to the value of the input frequency.
[0016] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to claim 1 of the present invention uses a frequency marker, which is displayed in association with a graph on the spectrum display screen and indicates the frequency position corresponding to a point on the graph, as a tool for inputting the value of the frequency to be changed, and allows the position of the frequency marker to be easily changed to the desired frequency position by a simple operation of inputting the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame of the frequency marker while the spectrum display screen is displayed. This makes it possible to completely eliminate the need for complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the position of the frequency marker, and significantly reduces the workload associated with setting the position of the frequency marker.
[0017] In order to solve the above problem, a spectrum analyzer according to claim 2 of the present invention displays a spectrum display screen (50A) having a graph area (52) defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displays in the graph area a graph (60) showing the spectrum characteristics of a signal under measurement analyzed by a signal analysis means (15), a frequency marker (61) having a frequency indication frame (61a) indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph, and a level marker (62) having a level indication frame (62a) indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. The spectrum display screen is characterized in having a control means (31), an operable state display control means (32A) for displaying the graph area in a manner indicating an operable state in which a movement operation of the frequency marker along the horizontal axis can be accepted in response to an operation of selecting the graph by an input means (20a) while the spectrum display screen is being displayed, and a frequency marker position setting display control means (34A) for accepting the movement operation of the frequency marker by the input means when in the operable state, changing the position of the frequency marker to a frequency position corresponding to the movement operation, and updating and displaying the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame to the frequency value of the position after the change.
[0018] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to claim 2 of the present invention uses a frequency marker, which is displayed on the spectrum display screen in association with a graph and indicates the position of a frequency corresponding to a point on the graph, as a tool that can be moved to the position of a frequency that requires a change, and the position of the frequency marker can be easily changed to the position of a desired frequency by a simple operation of moving the position of the frequency marker to the position of the desired frequency while the spectrum display screen is displayed. This makes it possible to eliminate the need for complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the position of the frequency marker, and significantly reduces the workload associated with setting the position of the frequency marker.
[0019] Furthermore, in the spectrum analyzer according to claim 3 of the present invention, the frequency marker position setting and display control means may be configured to change the position of the level marker on the vertical axis to the position of the signal level corresponding to the updated frequency in accordance with the change in the position of the frequency marker, and to update and display the value of the signal level indicated by the level indication frame to a value corresponding to the changed position of the signal level.
[0020] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to claim 3 of the present invention can, when setting the position of a frequency marker, simultaneously and easily set the position of a level marker that corresponds to the position of the set frequency marker, thereby reducing the burden of checking when it is necessary to repeatedly check the relationship between frequency and signal level for any desired frequency.
[0021] Furthermore, in the spectrum analyzer according to claim 4 of the present invention, the frequency marker position setting display control means may be configured to further display, in the graph area, a frequency indication line (61 b) extending parallel to the vertical axis from a frequency position indicated by the frequency indication frame, and a level indication line (62 b) extending along the horizontal axis from a signal level position indicated by the level indication frame.
[0022] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to claim 4 of the present invention makes it easy to check the waveform near the intersection of the frequency indication line and the level indication line on the spectrum characteristics graph, even after the positions of the frequency marker and the level marker have been set, by using these lines as guides.
[0023] In addition, in the spectrum analyzer according to claim 5 of the present invention, the signal analysis means may analyze the spectrum characteristics of a plurality of radio frequency signals in different frequency ranges of a millimeter wave band as the signal under test, and the spectrum display control means may display the graph indicating the spectrum characteristics of the radio frequency signal selectively selected from the plurality of radio frequency signals.
[0024] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to claim 5 of the present invention can select one radio frequency signal from among multiple radio frequency signals in each frequency range of the millimeter wave band, and set the positions of the frequency marker and level marker with a simple operation without the need to open another screen, etc.
[0025] In order to solve the above problem, a frequency marker position setting method for a spectrum analyzer according to claim 6 of the present invention provides a spectrum display control means (31) for displaying a spectrum display screen (50) having a graph area (52) defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displaying in the graph area a graph (60) showing the spectrum characteristics of a signal under measurement analyzed by a signal analysis means (15), a frequency marker (61) having a frequency indication frame (61a) indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph, and a level marker (62) having a level indication frame (62a) indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. a frequency marker position setting method for a spectrum analyzer, the method comprising: an input enabled state display control step (S12) of displaying the frequency indication frame in a manner indicating an input enabled state in which a desired frequency can be input in response to an operation of selecting the frequency marker by an input means (20a) while the spectrum display screen is being displayed; an input acceptance step (S13) of accepting an input of the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame by the input means when the input enabled state is being displayed; and a frequency marker position setting display control step (S14) of changing the position of the frequency marker on the horizontal axis to the position of the input frequency, and updating and displaying the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency indication frame to the value of the input frequency.
[0026] With this configuration, the frequency marker position setting method for a spectrum analyzer according to claim 6 of the present invention uses a frequency marker, which is displayed on the spectrum display screen in association with a graph and indicates the frequency position corresponding to a point on the graph, as a tool for inputting the value of the frequency to be changed, and inputs the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame of the frequency marker while the spectrum display screen is displayed (step S13), making it possible to easily change the position of the frequency marker to the desired frequency position by a simple operation (step S14). This makes it possible to completely eliminate the need for complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the frequency marker position, and makes it possible to significantly reduce the workload associated with setting the frequency marker position.
[0027] In order to solve the above problem, a frequency marker position setting method for a spectrum analyzer according to claim 7 of the present invention provides a spectrum analyzer having spectrum display control means (31) for displaying a spectrum display screen (50A) having a graph area (52) defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displaying in the graph area a graph (60) showing the spectrum characteristics of a measured signal analyzed by a signal analysis means (15), a frequency marker (61) having a frequency indication frame (61a) indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph, and a level marker (62) having a level indication frame (62a) indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. and a frequency marker position setting display control step (S14A) of changing a position of the frequency marker to a frequency position corresponding to the change in the frequency indication frame and updating and displaying the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame to the frequency value at the changed position.
[0028] With this configuration, the frequency marker position setting method for a spectrum analyzer according to claim 7 of the present invention uses a frequency marker, which is displayed on a spectrum display screen in association with a graph and indicates the position of a frequency corresponding to a point on the graph, as a tool capable of moving the frequency to the position of a frequency that requires a change, and moves the position of the frequency marker to the desired frequency position (S13A) while the spectrum display screen is displayed, by a simple operation, the position of the frequency marker can be easily changed to the desired frequency position (S14A). This makes it possible to eliminate any troublesome tasks such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the frequency marker position, and greatly reduces the workload associated with setting the frequency marker position. Effect of the Invention

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0031] A spectrum analyzer and a method for setting a frequency marker position thereof according to the present invention will now be described.
[0032] The spectrum analyzer according to the present invention is applicable to measuring the functions of a communication terminal that enables high-speed communication in the millimeter wave (200 GHz to 300 GHz, etc.) band, for example, in light of the progress of development of 5G and even more advanced communication technologies.
[0033] The spectrum analyzer according to the present invention has a display control function for analyzing the spectral characteristics of a signal under test and displaying a graph showing the spectral characteristics based on the analysis results, as well as a marker position setting and display control function for changing the position of a frequency marker displayed in association with the graph to a frequency position specified by a user and updating and displaying the frequency indication value thereto to the frequency value of the changed position. The marker position setting and display control function also has a display control function for changing the level marker to a signal level position corresponding to the changed frequency marker position and updating and displaying the signal level indication value thereto to the signal level value corresponding to the frequency indicated by the changed frequency marker.
[0034] In order to realize the marker position setting and display control function, the spectrum analyzer according to the present invention uses a frequency marker, which is displayed in association with a graph on the spectrum display screen and indicates the frequency position on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph, as a tool for inputting the value of the frequency that requires a change (displayed operatively as this tool), and has a configuration in which, while the spectrum display screen is being displayed, an operation of inputting a desired frequency into the frequency indication frame of the frequency marker is accepted, and the position of the frequency marker is changed to the position of the desired frequency.
[0035] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer according to this embodiment makes it possible to easily change the position of the frequency marker to the position of a desired frequency by a simple operation of inputting the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame of the frequency marker while the spectrum display screen is being displayed, which will contribute to the promotion of the development of high-speed, high-performance spectrum analyzers in the future.
[0036] First, the configuration of a spectrum analyzer according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. FIG.
[0037] As shown in FIG. 1, a spectrum analyzer 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a frequency conversion section 10, an analog / digital (A / D) converter 14, a signal analysis section 15, a control section 16, an operation section 20, and a display section 21.
[0038] The frequency conversion section 10 is configured to include a mixer 11, a local signal generator 12, and a filter 13.
[0039] The mixer 11 receives and processes the input signal (RF frequency) S of each frequency component. IN By mixing the local signal L input from the local signal generator 12 with the input signal S IN This is a functional unit that functions as a frequency conversion means for converting the RF frequency into an intermediate frequency signal (IF frequency) and outputting it to the filter 13.
[0040] The local signal generator 12 receives the above-mentioned input signal S IN The local signal generator 12 generates a local signal L to be sent to the mixer 11 to be mixed with the local signal L. The local signal generator 12 has, for example, a PLL (phase-locked loop) circuit and is configured to be able to output a local signal L of a frequency corresponding to data given from the outside. The frequency sweep of the local signal L is performed by sequentially updating the frequency data input from the frequency sweep control unit 17.
[0041] The filter 13 is a filter function unit that inputs the IF signal that has been frequency converted by the mixer 11, passes only a signal M having a frequency component within a predetermined band of the input IF signal, and inputs it to the A / D converter 14.
[0042] The A / D converter 14 is a functional section that samples the analog signal M (the output signal of the frequency conversion section 10) input from the filter 13 and converts it into a digital signal sequence (digital signal Dm).
[0043] The signal analysis unit 15 is a functional unit that inputs the digital signal Dm output by the A / D converter 14, performs processing to analyze the intensity (level) of the signal (IF) in each band, and outputs the analysis result, i.e., analysis result data indicating the correspondence relationship (spectrum characteristic) between frequency and signal level, to the control unit 16. The signal analysis unit 15 constitutes the signal analysis means of the present invention.
[0044] The control unit 16 is a functional unit that controls the entire spectrum analyzer 1, and includes a frequency sweep control unit 17, a spectrum data acquisition unit 18, and a display control unit 19. The control unit 16 may be a control unit of the spectrum analyzer 1 itself, or may be configured as a separate device such as a PC (personal computer). In either configuration, the control unit 16 is configured by a microcomputer including a CPU (central control unit) and peripheral devices such as a ROM, a RAM, and an input / output port, and is configured to cause the microcomputer to function as each of the functional units, such as the frequency sweep control unit 17, the spectrum data acquisition unit 18, and the display control unit 19, by executing a control program previously stored in the ROM, for example.
[0045] The frequency sweep control unit 17 is a functional unit that executes frequency sweep control to change the frequency of the local signal L output by the local signal generator 12 to the mixer 11, for example, within a frequency range specified by the user via the operation unit 20.
[0046] The spectrum data acquisition unit 18 performs a process of acquiring, from the signal analysis unit 15, analysis result data (data indicating the correspondence between frequency and signal level (spectral characteristics)) obtained by the analysis process performed by the signal analysis unit 15 in accordance with the frequency sweep control by the frequency sweep control unit 17.
[0047] The display control unit 19 is a part that performs display control to display a graph 60 (see Figure 3) showing the spectral characteristics on the display unit 21 based on the analysis result data acquired by the spectrum data acquisition unit 18, and to change (transition) the positions of the frequency marker 61 and level marker 62 displayed in association with the graph 60 to positions specified by the user.
[0048] The operation unit 20 has input means such as various keys, switches, buttons, or a mouse and a keyboard 20a, and is operated by a user when making various settings related to the measurement of a signal under test, etc. The keyboard 20a constitutes the input means of the present invention.
[0049] The display unit 21 is, for example, a liquid crystal display, and is a functional unit that displays a setting screen relating to the measurement of the signal under measurement, the measurement results (spectrum display screen 50: see FIG. 3), and the like.
[0050] In the spectrum analyzer 1 having the above-described configuration, the display control unit 19 has a spectrum display control function (see FIG. 3(a)) that uses the spectrum display screen 50 to display a graph 60 showing spectrum characteristics including a frequency marker 61 and a level marker 62.
[0051] In addition, the display control unit 19 has a marker position setting display control function (see FIG. 3(b)) that changes the position of a frequency marker 61 indicating a frequency on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph 60 (for example, on the initial screen (see FIG. 3(a)) immediately after display, it indicates the center frequency of the graph 60) to a position specified by the user, displays the frequency value corresponding to the changed position in the frequency indication frame 61a, and also changes the position of the level marker 62 in accordance with the change in the position of the frequency marker 61, and displays the signal level value corresponding to the changed frequency position in the level indication frame 62a.
[0052] In order to realize the above-mentioned spectrum display control function and marker position setting display control function, the display control unit 19 is configured to include the functional blocks shown in FIG.
[0053] As shown in FIG. 2, in the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment, the display control unit 19 has a spectrum display control unit 31, an input available state display control unit 32, a marker position setting request receiving unit 33, and a marker position setting display control unit .
[0054] The spectrum display control unit 31 corresponds to the spectrum display control means of the present invention, and controls the display of the spectrum characteristics on the display unit 21. An example of the display of the spectrum characteristics in the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment is shown in the schematic diagram of FIG.
[0055] As shown in FIG. 3, the spectrum display control unit 31 uses a spectrum display screen 50 to display the spectrum characteristics as a graph 60.
[0056] A frequency marker 61 and a level marker 62 are added to the graph 60. The frequency marker 61 is a tool that indicates the value of a frequency at a point on the graph 60 (the frequency corresponding to the position of the frequency marker 61 on the horizontal axis) within its frequency indication frame 61a.
[0057] The level marker 62 is a tool for indicating, within a level indication frame 62a, the value of the signal level at a point on the above-mentioned graph 60 (the signal level corresponding to the position of the level marker 62 on the vertical axis: corresponding to the frequency indicated by the frequency marker 61). In the example of Fig. 3(a) showing the initial screen of the spectrum display screen 50, the frequency marker 61 indicates the frequency value (position) of 3550.00 MHz which is the center frequency of the graph 60, and the level marker 62 indicates the signal level of -10.00 dBm which corresponds to the above-mentioned center frequency.
[0058] Also, a frequency indication line 61b is displayed from the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, continuously indicating the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a in a direction parallel to the vertical axis. On the other hand, a level indication line 62b is displayed from the level indication frame 62a of the level marker 62, continuously indicating the signal level value indicated by the level indication frame 62a in a direction parallel to the horizontal axis. This allows the user to easily grasp the correspondence relationship (frequency vs. signal level) between the frequency value indicated by the frequency marker 61 in the frequency indication frame 61a and the signal level value indicated by the level marker 62 in the level indication frame 62a at the intersection (a point on the graph described above) of the frequency indication line 61b and the level indication line 62b.
[0059] In addition, in the configuration of the display control unit 19 shown in FIG. 2, when the frequency marker 61 is selected while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, the input enabled state display control unit 32 performs control to display the frequency indication frame 61a in a manner indicating an input enabled state in which a desired frequency can be input.
[0060] Specifically, for example, when a user performs a predetermined operation on the operation unit 20 to select the frequency marker 61, the input enabled state display control unit 32 displays the frequency designation frame 61a with a cursor 610 (see FIG. 7) added thereto, which indicates the input position for inputting the value of the frequency for which a change is requested. Thereafter, the frequency marker 61 is controlled to function as an input tool for designating the frequency for which a change is requested of the frequency marker 61, using the position of the cursor 610 within the frequency designation frame 61a as a guide. The input enabled state display control unit 32 constitutes the input enabled state display control means of the present invention.
[0061] The marker position setting request receiving unit 33 is a functional unit that performs processing to receive an input of a position (frequency value) for requesting a change of the frequency marker 61 from the position of the cursor 610 in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61. The input of the position for which a change is requested (and the selection of the frequency marker 61 described above) can be performed using, for example, the keyboard 20a, which is one of the devices constituting the operation unit 20.
[0062] By accepting input of a frequency to be changed into the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, the marker position setting display control unit 34 performs display control to change the position of the frequency marker 61 to the position of the input frequency, and to change the position of the level marker 62 to a signal level position corresponding to the changed position of the frequency marker 61. Here, the marker position setting display control unit 34 updates the frequency indication value in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 at the moved position to the frequency value corresponding to that position.
[0063] Furthermore, for the level marker 62, the marker position setting display control unit 34 updates the level indication value in the level indication frame 62a to a signal level value corresponding to the updated frequency value in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61. The marker position setting display control unit 34 constitutes the marker position setting display control means of the present invention.
[0064] A specific example of the marker position setting and display control performed by the above-mentioned input enabled state display control unit 32, marker position setting request receiving unit 33, and marker position setting and display control unit 34 will be described with reference to FIG.
[0065] In the spectrum display screen 50 shown in Fig. 3, the frequency marker 61 functions as an input tool for a desired value when changing the frequency value indicated at that position to another desired value. Fig. 3(b) shows an example of input to the frequency indication frame 61a when requesting to change the frequency (center frequency) value of 3550.00 MHz indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a in Fig. 3(a) to a new position of 3551.00 MHz.
[0066] By accepting an input (designation) of a frequency for which a change in the setting of the frequency marker 61 is requested, and then accepting an operation to start setting, the marker position setting display control unit 34 changes the position of the frequency marker 61 to the designated frequency of 3551.00 MHz, as shown in Fig. 3(b), and updates the display in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 from the previous 3550.00 MHz to the frequency value 3551.00 MHz corresponding to the changed position. At the same time, the marker position setting display control unit 34 performs a process of updating the level value -10.00 dBm of the level marker 62 corresponding to the updated frequency value 3551.00 MHz to -12.05 dBm corresponding to the 3551.00 MHz, and displaying it in the level indication frame 62a.
[0067] The marker position setting display control in the mode shown in Fig. 3(b) may be performed multiple times in order to check one by one the relationship between frequency and signal level in a desired frequency band of the spectrum characteristic (graph 60) on the currently displayed spectrum display screen 50. As described above, the marker position setting display control in this case is performed by the marker position setting display control unit 34 in cooperation with the input enabled state display control unit 32 and the marker position setting request receiving unit 33 in the configuration of the display control unit 19 shown in Fig. 2.
[0068] Next, a spectrum measurement operation of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in Fig. 4. Here, the spectrum analyzer 1 receives, for example, a millimeter wave band signal, and measures the input signal S IN A signal (signal to be measured) in a frequency band (frequency band to be analyzed) preset by the user is extracted and A / D converted, and then input to the signal analysis unit 15, where the spectrum characteristics of the signal are measured.
[0069] To perform spectrum measurement, the user performs an operation to set the sweep frequency range (frequency range to be analyzed) of the spectrum analyzer 1 on the operation unit 20 (step S1). Parameters set by this operation include, for example, the maximum value of the input signal level, the center frequency, the frequency width (span frequency), and the number of samples acquired. Here, a start frequency and a stop frequency may be set instead of the center frequency and the span frequency. In this case, the frequency sweep control unit 17 can calculate the center frequency by dividing 2 by (start frequency+stop frequency), and the span by (stop frequency-start frequency).
[0070] When the setting operation in step S1 is completed and, subsequently, for example, an operation to start measurement is performed by the operation unit 20, the control unit 16 controls the millimeter wave input signal S INThe signal in the sweep frequency range set in step S1 is extracted from the signal, the spectrum characteristics of the signal are analyzed, and the various components of the device are driven and controlled to display the analysis results.
[0071] First, in the control unit 16, the frequency sweep control unit 17 drives and controls the local signal generator 12 in accordance with the settings of the parameters (center frequency and span frequency, or start frequency and stop frequency, etc.) in the above step S1, and performs frequency sweep control to sweep the frequency of the local signal L input from the local signal generator 12 to the mixer 11 in predetermined steps (step S2). At that time, the frequency sweep control unit 17 sends information (frequency information) f of each frequency related to the sweep control to the signal analysis unit 15.
[0072] In accordance with the sweep control of the local signal L in step S2, the control unit 16 drives and controls the frequency conversion unit 10 to convert the frequency swept local signal L into the input signal S. IN The mixed signal is mixed by the mixer 11, and a frequency conversion process is performed to convert the mixed signal into an intermediate frequency (IF) signal (step S3).
[0073] Furthermore, the control unit 16 controls the driving of the frequency conversion unit 10 so as to filter the mixed signal converted to an intermediate frequency (IF) using the filter 13, extract a signal M in a predetermined intermediate (IF) frequency band from the mixed signal, i.e., the frequency component to be analyzed (step S4), and send it to the A / D converter 14.
[0074] Next, the A / D converter 14 converts the signal M to be analyzed, which is input from the frequency conversion section 10, from an analog signal to a digital signal Dm (step S4), and inputs the digital signal Dm to the signal analysis section 15.
[0075] The signal analysis unit 15 performs a process of analyzing the spectrum characteristics of the digital signal Dm based on the digital signal Dm input from the A / D converter 14 and the frequency information f sent from the frequency sweep control unit 17 in accordance with the above-mentioned frequency sweep control (see step S2) (step S6). Here, the signal analysis unit 15 performs a process of analyzing the frequency and signal level of the analysis target frequency component extracted in the above-mentioned step S4 for the digital signal Dm, and storing the analysis result in a predetermined storage area (for example, RAM) as spectrum data indicating the correspondence relationship between frequency and signal level.
[0076] While executing (or after completing) the analysis process of the digital signal Dm in step S6, the spectrum data acquisition unit 18 reads (acquires) the spectrum data stored in the RAM, for example, based on a predetermined spectrum display operation performed on the operation unit 20, and inputs it to the display control unit 19 (step S7).
[0077] Furthermore, the display control unit 19 performs display control to display a waveform (graph (see graph 60 in Figure 3)) indicating the spectral characteristics of the digital signal Dm on the display unit 21 based on the spectrum data acquired from the spectrum data acquisition unit 18 (step S8).
[0078] Next, details of the spectrum characteristic display control in step S8 in Fig. 4 will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in Fig. 5. As shown in Fig. 5, the spectrum characteristic display control in step S8 in Fig. 4 includes control (step S10) for displaying a graph 60 (see Fig. 3) showing the spectrum characteristic, and marker position setting display control (steps S11 to S15) for specifying a desired frequency using a frequency marker 61 displayed in association with the graph 60 as an input tool, changing the position of the frequency marker 61 to the position of the specified frequency, and updating the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency marker 61.
[0079] In the spectrum analyzer 1 of this embodiment, when the display control of the spectrum characteristics is started in step S8 of FIG. 4, the spectrum display control unit 31 displays a graph 60 of the spectrum characteristics using the spectrum display screen 50, as shown in FIG. 5 (step S10).
[0080] While the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, the input-enabled state display control unit 32 accepts an operation of selecting (clicking) a frequency marker 61 on the spectrum display screen 50 (step S11), and controls the display so that the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 is displayed in a state in which it can be used as a frequency input tool (input enabled state) (step S12).
[0081] Specifically, in step S12, in response to the user's selection of the frequency marker 61 in step S11, the input-enabled state display control unit 32 performs display control to display a cursor 610 within the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, as shown in FIG. 7, and to put the cursor 610 in an input-enabled state (for example, a blinking display).
[0082] While the cursor 610 is blinking in step S12, the marker position setting request receiving unit 33 performs a process of receiving input of the desired frequency (the frequency value to which the change is requested) from the cursor position within the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 (step S13).
[0083] Here, when input of a desired frequency is accepted with the cursor in the frequency indication frame 61a as the starting point, the marker position setting display control unit 34 changes the position of the frequency marker 61 to the position of the input frequency, and updates and displays the frequency value in the frequency indication frame 61a to the frequency value corresponding to the changed position (step S14).
[0084] Next, the marker position setting display control unit 34 changes the position of the level marker 62 to the signal level position corresponding to the updated frequency position, and controls the display of the level indication frame 62a to be updated to the signal level value corresponding to the changed position (step S15).
[0085] Next, the marker position setting display control unit 34 checks whether or not an operation to end the display of the spectrum display screen 50 has been performed (step S16).
[0086] Here, if no operation has been performed to end the display of the spectrum display screen 50 (NO in step S16), the display control unit 19 proceeds to step S11, and thereafter performs the operational control from step S11 to step S16 described above.
[0087] Here, the display control unit 19 repeats the processes of steps S11 to S16 while it is determined in step S16 that the operation to end the display of the spectral characteristics has not been performed. During this time, when the operation to end the display of the spectral characteristics is performed in step S16 (YES in step S16), the display control unit 19 ends the series of marker position setting and display controls for the frequency marker 61 and the level marker 62.
[0088] Next, a specific display example of the spectrum display screen 50 in the spectrum characteristic display control in step S10 in FIG. 5 and the marker position setting display control in steps S13 to S15 will be described with reference to FIG. 6 and FIG.
[0089] The spectrum display screen 50 shown in Figures 6 and 7 shows a detailed embodiment of the spectrum display screen 50 shown in Figure 3. As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the spectrum display screen 50 has a graph display area 51, a measurement status display area 54, and a measurement status confirmation area 55.
[0090] The graph display area 51 has a graph area 52 that displays a graph 60 of the spectral characteristics, and a tool area 53 in which tools 53a, 53b, 53c, 53d, and 53e are arranged that display the setting status of the measurement conditions, etc. of the spectral characteristics displayed by the graph 60.
[0091] Graph area 52 is configured with a two-dimensional plane defined by a horizontal axis and a vertical axis, with the horizontal axis being scaled for frequency and the vertical axis being scaled for signal level. The unit of frequency on the horizontal axis is, for example, "MHz", and in the examples of Figures 6 and 7, frequency scales corresponding to a range of 2950 to 3050 MHz are provided. On the other hand, the unit of signal level on the vertical axis is, for example, "dBm", and in the examples of Figures 6 and 7, signal level scales corresponding to a range of -12 to -115 dBm are provided.
[0092] The graph area 52 displays a graph 60 indicating the spectrum characteristics on the above-mentioned two-dimensional plane, and is also capable of displaying a frequency marker 61 and a level marker 62 in accordance with the display of the graph 60. The frequency marker 61 is, for example, configured as a frequency indication frame 61a having a rectangular shape, and is a tool function that displays within the frame the frequency value on the horizontal axis indicated by the frequency marker 61. At the time when the graph 60 is initially displayed (initial screen) based on the basic display control (display control when the marker position setting display control is not applied) of the spectrum display control unit 31, the frequency marker 61 indicates the center frequency value of the predetermined analysis target frequency range (3000.00 MHz in the example of FIG. 6).
[0093] The level marker 62 is also configured, for example, with a rectangular level indication frame 62a, and is a tool function that displays within the frame the signal level value on the vertical axis indicated by the frequency marker 61. In the example of Fig. 6, the level marker 62 indicates a signal level of -40.80 dBn, which corresponds to the center frequency of 3000.00 MHz indicated by the frequency marker 61.
[0094] A frequency indication line 61b and a level indication line 62b are associated with the frequency marker 61 and the level marker 62, respectively, and are further displayed. The frequency indication line 61b is formed by a line drawn continuously from the frequency marker 61 along the vertical axis to the frequency value indicated by the frequency marker 61, and the level indication line 62b is formed by a line drawn continuously from the level marker 62 along the horizontal axis to the signal level value indicated by the level marker 62. The frequency indication line 61b and the level indication line 62b intersect at a point on the graph 60, and are a useful tool for quickly and easily grasping the correspondence relationship (frequency vs. signal level) between the frequency indicated by the frequency marker 61 and the signal level indicated by the level marker 62 from that point.
[0095] In the tool area 53 adjacent to the graph area 52 having the above-mentioned configuration, tools 53a and 53b are tools that display the setting status of whether the measurement of the spectrum characteristics (graph 60) is performed once ("Single") or continuously ("Continuous"). Tool 53c is a tool that displays the setting status of the measurement period (Periodic Time) (20 ms in this example). Tools 53d and 53e are tools that display the setting status of the analysis interval (Analysis BW) and the input signal type (Input Trigger Source), respectively. In the example of FIG. 6, the setting status of 100 MHz is displayed for Analysis BW and Internal is displayed for Input Trigger Source.
[0096] In addition, in the spectrum display screen 50, the measurement status display area 54, which is located below the graph display area 51, displays the measurement results of the multiple RF signals to be analyzed (in this example, four types of RF signals in different frequency bands identified as #1 to #4) using bar graphs and numerical values.
[0097] In addition, in the spectrum display screen 50, a measurement status confirmation area 55 located to the right of the graph display area 51 displays multiple confirmation items 55a to 55i related to one RF signal (in this example, the RF signal identified as #1) selected by the user from the four RF signals #1, #2, #3, and #4 to be analyzed.
[0098] The confirmation item 55a indicates which signal the analysis result is, and in this example, it indicates that it is the analysis result of RF signal #1.
[0099] The confirmation item 55b displays the progress of the analysis process, for example, in a pie chart.
[0100] The confirmation item 55c displays information showing the storage status of the analysis result data, and in this example, it is displayed that the information "No saved data" is stored in the "Directory Name" item.
[0101] Confirmation item 55d displays the center frequency for each RF signal to be analyzed. In this example, the center frequency value 3000.000 000 MHz set when analyzing the RF signals to be analyzed (RF1, RF2 (corresponding to #1, #2)) is displayed.
[0102] Confirmation item 55e also displays the center frequency for each RF signal to be analyzed. In this example, the center frequency value 3750.000 000 MHz set when analyzing the RF signals to be analyzed (RF3, RF4 (corresponding to #3 and #4)) is displayed.
[0103] Confirmation item 55f displays the analysis results of the signal levels of the RF signal (RF1) and the RF signal (RF2) when the set value of the center frequency is 3000.000 000 MHz, which are −5.00 dBm and −83.47 dBm.
[0104] Verification item 55g displays the analysis results of the signal levels of the RF signal (RF3) and RF signal (RF4) when the center frequency setting is 3750.000 000 MHz: -81.40 dBm and -82.08 dBm.
[0105] The confirmation item 55h displays the recording time of the analysis result data showing each of the above analysis results.
[0106] A confirmation item 55i displays a REC button used when recording the analysis results of RF signals #1, #2, #3, and #4. The REC button is displayed so that recording start and end can be instructed.
[0107] (Basic operation of spectrum display screen) In the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the present embodiment, during measurement of the spectrum characteristics, the input signal S IN Based on the analysis result, the spectrum display control unit 31 displays a spectrum display screen 50 having a configuration shown in FIG. 6, for example (see step S8 in FIG. 4 and step S10 in FIG. 5).
[0108] In the spectrum display screen 50 shown in FIG. 6, analysis processing is performed on four RF signals #1 to #4, and a graph 60 showing the spectral characteristics of RF signal #1 (see measurement status display area 54) is displayed (see graph area 52).
[0109] From the graph 60, the user can recognize the analysis results of the spectrum characteristics for the RF signal #1 in the frequency range from 2950 MHz to 3050 MHz with the center frequency being 3000 MHz.
[0110] In this spectrum display screen 50, a frequency marker 61 and a level marker 62 are displayed in the graph area 52 in association with a graph 60. Here, the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 indicates the center frequency (=3000.00 MHz), and the level indication frame 62a of the level marker 62 indicates a signal level of -40.80 dBm corresponding to the center frequency (=3000.00 MHz). This allows the user to confirm from the spectrum display screen 50 that the RF signal #1 has a signal level of about -40.80 dBm in the center frequency band.
[0111] According to this spectrum display screen 50, as with RF signal #1, by selectively specifying the desired RF signal through a selection operation in the measurement status display area 54, it is possible to confirm the signal level of the center frequency (however, the center frequency of RF signals #3 and #4 is 3750.00 MHz) for RF signals #2, #3, and #4.
[0112] On the other hand, the user may be forced to check the signal levels of frequencies other than the center frequency (frequencies near the center frequency, or any desired frequency) for RF signals #1 to #4. In this case, the user uses the frequency marker 61 associated with the graph 60 of the displayed (selected) RF signal #1 as an input tool to activate the marker position setting display control described below.
[0113] (Spectrum display screen marker position setting display control) To execute the marker position setting display control, first, an operation to select (click, etc.) the frequency marker 61 displayed in association with the graph 60 on the spectrum display screen 50 is performed. This operation can be performed, for example, by using the keyboard 20a constituting the operation unit 20.
[0114] By accepting the above operation, the input enabled state display control unit 32 displays a cursor 610 indicating the input position in a blinking state, i.e., in a state indicating that input is enabled, within the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, as shown in FIG. 7, for example.
[0115] In this state, the user then inputs a desired frequency value to the position of the cursor 610. In Fig. 7, for example, a frequency value of 3001 (GHz) is input to the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61.
[0116] When the marker position setting request receiving unit 33 receives an input operation of the desired frequency value into the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 by the above operation, the frequency marker 61 is changed to a position indicating the input frequency of 3001.00 MHz and displayed by the marker position setting display control unit 34. Accordingly, the display content within the frequency indication frame 61a is changed from 3000.00 MHz (see FIG. 6) before the input to the input 3001.00 MHz, as shown in FIG.
[0117] Similarly, when RF signal #1 is selected on the spectrum display screen 50, marker position setting display control can be performed to change the position of the frequency marker 61 to a position indicating the other desired frequency and to change the position of the level marker 62 to a signal level position corresponding to the other desired frequency, through the selection and designation of the frequency marker 61, display of the cursor 610 within the frequency designation frame 61a, and input of another desired frequency at the position of the cursor 610 within the frequency designation frame 61a.
[0118] Also, even when RF signals #2, #3, and #4 are selected on the spectrum display screen 50, a marker position setting display control can be executed in which the position of the frequency marker 61 is changed to a position where it can indicate the specified frequency and the value of the specified frequency is displayed in the frequency indication frame 61a through similar operations such as selecting and specifying the frequency marker 61, displaying the cursor 610 in the frequency indication frame 61a, and inputting the desired frequency for the position of the cursor 610 in the frequency indication frame 61a, and the position of the level marker 62 is also changed to a position indicating the signal level corresponding to the frequency displayed in the frequency indication frame 61a, and the signal level is displayed in the level indication frame 62a.
[0119] The selection and designation of the frequency marker 61 described above, the display of the cursor 610 within the frequency designation frame 61a, and the input operation of a desired frequency using the cursor 610 within the frequency designation frame 61a can all be performed, for example, from an input means constituting the operation unit 20, such as a keyboard 20a (see FIG. 2).
[0120] As described above, the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment displays a spectrum display screen 50 having a graph area 52 defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and the spectrum display control unit 3 displays in the graph area 52 a graph 60 showing the spectral characteristics of the measured signal analyzed by the signal analysis unit 15, a frequency marker 61 having a frequency indication frame 61a indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph 60, and a level marker 62 having a level indication frame 62a indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. 1, an input enabled state display control unit 32 which displays the frequency indication frame 61a in a manner indicating an input enabled state in which a desired frequency can be input in response to an operation of selecting a frequency marker 61 via the keyboard 20a of the operation unit 20 while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, and a marker position setting display control unit 34 which accepts input of a desired frequency into the frequency indication frame 61a via the keyboard 20a when in the input enabled state, changes the position of the frequency marker 61 on the horizontal axis to the position of the input frequency, and updates and displays the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a to the value of the input frequency.
[0121] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment uses the frequency marker 61, which is displayed on the spectrum display screen 50 in association with the graph 60 and indicates the frequency position corresponding to a point on the graph 60, as a tool for inputting the value of the frequency to be changed, and the position of the frequency marker 61 can be easily changed to the desired frequency position by a simple operation of inputting the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 while the spectrum display screen 50 is displayed. This makes it possible to completely eliminate the need for complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the position of the frequency marker 61, and makes it possible to significantly reduce the workload associated with setting the position of the frequency marker 61.
[0122] Furthermore, in the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment, the marker position setting display control unit 34 is configured to change the position of the level marker 62 on the vertical axis to the position of the signal level corresponding to the updated frequency in accordance with the change in the position of the frequency marker 61, and to update and display the signal level value indicated by the level indication frame 62a to a value corresponding to the position of the changed signal level.
[0123] With this configuration, in the spectrum analyzer 1 of this embodiment, when setting the position of the frequency marker 61, the position of the level marker 62 corresponding to the position of the set frequency marker 61 can also be set simultaneously and easily, thereby reducing the burden of checking when it is necessary to repeatedly check the frequency vs. signal level relationship for any desired frequency.
[0124] Furthermore, in the spectrum analyzer 1 of this embodiment, the marker position setting display control unit 34 is configured to further display in the graph area 52 a frequency indication line 61 b extending parallel to the vertical axis from the frequency position indicated by the frequency indication frame 61 a, and a level indication line 62 b extending along the horizontal axis from the signal level position indicated by the level indication frame 62 a.
[0125] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer 1 of this embodiment makes it easy to check the waveform near the intersection of the frequency indication line 61b and the level indication line 62b on the spectrum characteristic graph 60, even after setting the positions of the frequency marker 61 and the level marker 62.
[0126] Moreover, in the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment, the signal analysis unit 15 analyzes the spectral characteristics of a plurality of radio frequency (RF) signals in different frequency ranges of the millimeter wave band as the signal under measurement, and the spectrum display control unit 31 is configured to display a graph 60 indicating the spectral characteristics of an RF signal selectively selected from the plurality of RF signals.
[0127] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer 1 of this embodiment can select one RF signal from among multiple RF signals in each frequency range of the millimeter wave band, and set the positions of the frequency marker 61 and the level marker 62 with a simple operation without the need to open another screen, etc.
[0128] The frequency marker position setting method for the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the present embodiment is a method for setting a frequency marker position for the spectrum analyzer 1 having a spectrum display control unit 31 that displays a spectrum display screen 50 having a graph area 52 defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displays in the graph area 52 a graph 60 showing the spectral characteristics of the signal under measurement analyzed by the signal analysis unit 15, a frequency marker 61 having a frequency indication frame 61a indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph 60, and a level marker 62 having a level indication frame 62a indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. The frequency setting method includes an input enabled state display control step (S12) of displaying the frequency indication frame 61a in a manner indicating an input enabled state in which a desired frequency can be input in response to an operation of selecting a frequency marker 61 using the keyboard 20a of the operation unit 20 while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, an input acceptance step (S13) of accepting input of the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame 61a using the keyboard 20a when the input enabled state is selected, and a frequency marker position setting display control step (S14) of changing the position of the frequency marker 61 on the horizontal axis to the position of the input frequency, and updating and displaying the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a to the value of the input frequency.
[0129] With this configuration, the frequency marker position setting method of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to this embodiment uses the frequency marker 61, which is displayed on the spectrum display screen 50 in association with the graph 60 and indicates the frequency position corresponding to a point on the graph 60, as a tool for inputting the value of the frequency to be changed, and inputs the desired frequency into the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 while the spectrum display screen 50 is displayed (step S13), making it possible to easily change the position of the frequency marker 61 to the desired frequency position by a simple operation (step S14). As a result, when setting the position of the frequency marker 61, it is completely unnecessary to perform complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder, and it is possible to significantly reduce the workload associated with setting the position of the frequency marker 61.
[0130] (Modification) In the above embodiment, a configuration is exemplified in which a desired frequency is input into the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, the position of the frequency marker 61 is changed to a position corresponding to the input frequency, and the frequency indication value in the frequency indication frame 61a is updated to the frequency of the changed position.
[0131] In contrast, the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example has a configuration that includes a frequency marker setting method by moving the frequency marker 61, in which a frequency marker 61 displayed in association with the graph 60 is moved along the horizontal axis (frequency axis) (the frequency marker 61 is displayed movably) while the position of the graph 60 is fixed in the graph area 52 of the spectrum display screen 50A (see FIGS. 9 and 10), and the frequency value corresponding to the position of the moving frequency marker 61 is displayed within the frequency indication frame 61a while being sequentially updated.
[0132] The configuration of a display control unit 19A of a spectrum analyzer 1A according to a modified example is shown in Fig. 8. Moreover, display examples of a spectrum display screen 50A used in the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example are shown in Fig. 9 and Fig. 10. Fig. 9 shows a display example of the spectrum display screen 50A when the selection of the graph area 52 is accepted and the frame 52a of the graph area 52 is in an operable state (moving operation of the frequency marker 61), and Fig. 10 shows a display example of the spectrum display screen 50A when the marker position is set based on the marker position setting display control in which the operation of moving the frequency marker 61 has been accepted from the operable state.
[0133] A spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example has the same basic structure as the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment (see FIG. 1), and only a display control unit 19A has a different configuration from the display control unit 19 of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment.
[0134] As shown in Fig. 8, in a spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example, a display control unit 19A has a spectrum display control unit 31, an operable state display control unit 32A, a marker position setting request receiving unit 33A, and a marker position setting display control unit 34A. In Fig. 8, parts having the same configuration as those in the display control unit 19 (see Fig. 2) of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0135] In the configuration of the display control unit 19A shown in Fig. 8, the operable state display control unit 32A is a functional unit that displays, for example, a frame 52a surrounding the graph area 52 on the spectrum display screen 50A in a manner indicating a state in which a moving operation of the frequency marker 61 can be accepted (operable state) in response to an operation in which the graph area 52 on the spectrum display screen 50A is selected by a user. As a manner in which the operable state of the graph area 52 is indicated, for example, a method of displaying the frame 52a of the graph area 52 in a blinking state as shown in Figs. 9 and 10 is given. The operable state display control unit 32A constitutes an operable state display control means of the present invention.
[0136] The marker position setting request receiving unit 33A is a functional unit that performs processing to receive an operation (an operation of a marker position setting request) to move the frequency marker 61 along the horizontal axis within the graph area 52 displayed in a manner indicating an operable state. The movement of the frequency marker 61 along the horizontal axis can be instructed, for example, by operating a left movement button or a right movement button on the keyboard 20a (see FIG. 2), which is one of the devices constituting the operation unit 20.
[0137] The marker position setting display control unit 34A has the function of accepting an operation to move the frequency marker 61 to the left or right using the left movement button or right movement button (an operation requesting selection of a marker position), thereby moving the position of the frequency marker 61 to the right or left along the horizontal axis relative to the graph 60, which is displayed in a fixed position.
[0138] In addition, the marker position setting display control unit 34A has a frequency marker position setting display control function of sequentially updating and displaying the frequency indication value within the frequency indication frame 61a in response to a change in the position of the frequency marker 61 to the frequency value corresponding to the changed position (the frequency value on the graph 60 where the frequency indication line 61b extending along the vertical axis from the frequency marker 61 intersects).
[0139] Furthermore, the marker position setting display control unit 34A performs display control to change the position of the level marker 62 to the position of the signal level value corresponding to the updated frequency value in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, and then update and display the signal level value in the level indication frame 62a to the signal level value corresponding to the updated frequency value in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 (the signal level value on the graph 60 where the level indication line 62b extending along the horizontal axis from the level marker 62 intersects). The marker position setting display control unit 34A constitutes the marker position setting display control means of the present invention.
[0140] Next, a marker position setting and display control operation by moving the frequency marker 61 using the spectrum display screen 50A in the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
[0141] The spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example also performs a spectrum characteristic measurement operation according to the flowchart shown in Fig. 4. During the spectrum characteristic measurement operation, in the process of displaying the spectrum characteristic in step S8, the display control unit 19A executes display control (step S10) of a graph 60 (see Fig. 9) indicating the spectrum characteristic, and marker position setting display control (steps S11A, S12A, S13A, S14A, S15A) by moving the frequency marker 61, which updates and displays the display contents (frequency indication value) of the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61 and the display contents (signal level indication value) of the level indication frame 62a of the level marker 62 in accordance with the operation of moving the frequency marker 61, as shown in detail in Fig. 11.
[0142] In the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example, when the display control of the spectrum characteristics is started in step S8 in Fig. 4, the spectrum display control unit 31 displays a graph 60 of the spectrum characteristics using the spectrum display screen 50A shown in Fig. 9 (step S10), as shown in Fig. 11. The spectrum display screen 50A displayed here is equivalent to the spectrum display screen 50 (see Fig. 6) used in the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment, except that the frequency marker 61 is displayed so as to be movable in the horizontal axis direction, and the frame 52a surrounding the graph area 52 can be displayed in a manner indicating that it is in an operable state.
[0143] While the spectrum display screen 50A is being displayed, the operable state display control unit 32A accepts an operation to select (click) the graph area 52 on the spectrum display screen 50 (step S11A), and performs display control to display that the graph area 52 is in a state in which it is possible to accept an operation to move the frequency marker 61 in the horizontal direction (operable state) (step S12A).
[0144] Specifically, in step S12A, in response to the user's selection of graph area 52 in step S11A, operation state display control unit 32A performs display control to display frame 52a surrounding graph area 52 (graph 60) in a blinking state, for example, as shown in Fig. 9, indicating that graph area 52 is in an operation state (active state). In Fig. 9, frame 52a surrounding graph area 52 is shown by a dotted line to indicate that graph area 52 is being displayed in a blinking state.
[0145] While the frame 52a surrounding the graph area 52 is flashing in step S12A, the marker position setting request receiving unit 33A performs a process of receiving an operation to move the frequency marker 61 in the horizontal direction within the graph area 52 (step S13A).
[0146] Here, the user can move the frequency marker 61 appropriately to the right or left along the horizontal axis by operating, for example, the left movement key and the horizontal movement key of the keyboard 20a constituting the operation unit 20. At this time, the position of the graph 60 does not change, and is always displayed fixedly, for example, near the center position of the horizontal axis.
[0147] As a result, on spectrum display screen 50A shown in FIG. 9, if the frequency marker 61 is operated to move to the right (in the direction of arrow a1 in FIG. 9), the frequency value indicated by frequency indication frame 61a of frequency marker 61 changes from 3000.00 MHz to successively higher frequencies, and conversely, if the frequency marker 61 is operated to move to the left (in the direction of arrow a2 in FIG. 9), the frequency value indicated by frequency indication line 61b of frequency marker 61 changes from 3000.00 MHz to successively lower frequency values.
[0148] In step S13A, when the marker position setting request receiving unit 33A receives an operation to move the frequency marker 61 along the horizontal axis, the marker position setting display control unit 34A performs a process of changing the position of the frequency marker 61 to a frequency position on the horizontal axis corresponding to the above-mentioned movement operation while maintaining the graph 60 in a fixed position, and sequentially updating and displaying the display content within the frequency indication frame 61a to the frequency value corresponding to the changed position (step S14A).
[0149] At that time, with regard to the level marker 62, the marker position setting display control unit 34A sequentially updates the position of the level marker 62 to a signal level position corresponding to the frequency value displayed in the frequency indication frame 61a of the frequency marker 61, and also performs control to sequentially update and display the display content within the level indication frame 62a of the level marker 62 to the signal level value corresponding to the changed position (step S15A).
[0150] Subsequently, the marker position setting display control unit 34A checks whether or not an operation to end the display of the spectrum display screen 50A has been performed (step S16).
[0151] Here, if no operation has been performed to end the display of the spectrum display screen 50A (NO in step S16), the display control unit 19A proceeds to step S11A, and thereafter performs the operational control from step S11A to step S16 described above.
[0152] The display control unit 19A repeats the processes of steps S11A to S16 while it is determined in step S16 that the operation to end the display of the spectrum characteristics has not been performed. During this time, if the operation to end the display of the spectrum characteristics is performed in step S16 (YES in step S16), the display control unit 19A ends the series of marker position setting display controls for the frequency marker 61 and the level marker 62.
[0153] Next, a specific display example of the spectrum display screen 50A relating to the spectrum characteristic display control in step S10 of FIG. 11 and the marker position setting display control by moving the frequency marker 61 in steps S13A, S12A, S13A, S14A, and S15A will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10.
[0154] (Basic operation of spectrum display screen) In the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example, during measurement of the spectrum characteristics, the input signal S IN Based on the analysis result, for example, a spectrum display screen 50A having the configuration shown in FIG. 9 is displayed (see step S8 in FIG. 4 and step S10 in FIG. 11).
[0155] 9, for a graph 60 of the spectrum characteristics of RF signal #1, a frequency marker 61 indicates the center frequency (=3000.00 MHz), and a level marker 62 indicates a signal level of -40.80 dBm corresponding to the center frequency (=3000.00 MHz). This allows the user to confirm from the spectrum display screen 50A that the RF signal #1 has a signal level of about -40.80 dBm for the center frequency.
[0156] According to the spectrum display screen 50A, by performing a similar operation, it is possible to selectively specify the desired RF signal by a selection operation in the measurement status display area 54 not only for RF signal #1, but also for RF signals #2, #3, and #4, and check the signal level of the center frequency (however, the center frequency of RF signals #3 and #4 is 3750.00 MHz).
[0157] On the other hand, when there is a need to check the signal level of any desired frequency, such as a frequency near the center frequency, for RF signals #1 to #4, the user activates marker position setting display control by moving the frequency marker 61 on the spectrum display screen 50A being displayed (selected) in the horizontal direction, which sequentially updates the value of the frequency indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a.
[0158] (Marker position setting and display control by moving the frequency marker on the spectrum display screen) To execute marker position setting and display control by moving a frequency marker, the user first performs an operation to select (click, etc.) the graph area 52 on the spectrum display screen 50A.
[0159] By accepting the above operation, the operable state display control unit 32A displays a frame 52a surrounding the graph area 52 in an active state, for example, as shown in Fig. 9. In the example of Fig. 9, the frame 52a is represented by a dotted line, for example, and indicates that it is in a blinking state.
[0160] In this state, the user then performs an operation to move the frequency marker 61, which is displayed in association with the graph 60 in the graph area 52, in a desired direction to the right or left (the direction of the arrow a1 or the direction of the arrow a2) from the operation unit 20. The operation to move the frequency marker 61 can be performed by pressing a right movement key or a left movement key using, for example, the keyboard 20a constituting the operation unit 20.
[0161] 9, when the frequency marker 61 is moved to the right (arrow a1 direction), the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a is updated to a gradually higher frequency. Conversely, when the frequency marker 61 is moved to the left (arrow a2 direction), the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a is updated to a gradually lower frequency.
[0162] Fig. 10 shows an example of the spectrum display screen 50A when the frequency marker 61 is moved in the direction of the arrow a1 so that the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a is updated to a gradually higher frequency. Fig. 10 particularly shows an example of the spectrum display screen 50A when the position of the frequency marker 61 is continuously moved to the right until it indicates 3002.60 MHz.
[0163] At this time, the position of the level marker 62 is changed to a position indicating the signal level corresponding to the frequency of 3002.60 MHz displayed in the frequency indication frame 61a, and the signal level value displayed in the level indication frame 62a is updated to the signal level of -39.14 dBm corresponding to the frequency of 3002.60 MHz in the graph 60 and displayed.
[0164] In the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example, by moving the position of the frequency marker 61 so as to indicate another arbitrary frequency while the spectrum display screen 50A shown in Fig. 10 is being displayed, it is possible to check the frequency vs. signal level corresponding to the arbitrary frequency of the RF signal #1. Similarly, for the other RF signals #2, #3, and #4, by selecting and specifying the graph area 52, displaying the graph area 52 in an active state, and moving the frequency marker 61, it is possible to check the signal level values corresponding to the arbitrary frequency values one by one.
[0165] As described above, the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example displays a spectrum display screen 50A having a graph area 52 defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and is controlled by a spectrum display control unit 31 which displays in the graph area 52 a graph 60 showing the spectral characteristics of the measured signal analyzed by the signal analysis unit 15, a frequency marker 61 having a frequency indication frame 61a indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph 60, and a level marker 62 having a level indication frame 62a indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the above-mentioned point. and an operable state display control unit 32A that displays the graph area 52 in a manner indicating an operable state in which a movement operation along the horizontal axis of the frequency marker 61 can be accepted in response to an operation of selecting a graph 60 using the keyboard 20a of the operation unit 20 while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, and a marker position setting display control unit 34A that accepts a movement operation of the frequency marker 61 using the keyboard 20a when in the operable state, changes the position of the frequency marker 61 to the position of the frequency corresponding to the movement operation, and updates and displays the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a to the frequency value of the changed position.
[0166] With this configuration, the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example uses the frequency marker 61, which is displayed on the spectrum display screen 50 in association with the graph 60 and indicates the position of a frequency corresponding to a point on the graph 60, as a tool that can be moved to the position of a frequency that requires a change, and the position of the frequency marker 61 can be easily changed to the position of a desired frequency by a simple operation of moving the position of the frequency marker 61 to the position of the desired frequency while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed. This makes it possible to completely eliminate the need for complicated operations such as opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the position of the frequency marker 61, and makes it possible to significantly reduce the workload associated with setting the position of the frequency marker 61.
[0167] Other configurations of the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example are similar to those of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment, and these configurations provide the same effects as those of the spectrum analyzer 1 according to the above embodiment.
[0168] Furthermore, the frequency marker position setting method for the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example is a frequency marker position setting method for the spectrum analyzer 1A having a spectrum display control unit 31 that displays a spectrum display screen 50A having a graph area 52 defined by a horizontal axis having a frequency scale and a vertical axis having a signal level scale, and displays in the graph area 52 a graph 60 showing the spectrum characteristics of the measured signal analyzed by the signal analysis unit 15, a frequency marker 61 having a frequency indication frame 61a indicating a frequency value on the horizontal axis corresponding to a point on the graph 60, and a level marker 62 having a level indication frame 62a indicating a signal level value on the vertical axis corresponding to the point. The method includes an operable state display control step (S12A) of displaying the graph area 52 in a state indicating an operable state in which a movement operation along the horizontal axis of the frequency marker 61 can be accepted in response to an operation of selecting a graph 60 using the keyboard 20a of the operation unit 20 while the spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed, an operation acceptance step (S13A) of accepting an operation of moving the frequency marker 61 using the keyboard 20a when the operation is in the operable state, and a frequency marker position setting display control step (S14A) of changing the position of the frequency marker 61 to a frequency position corresponding to the movement operation, and updating and displaying the frequency value indicated by the frequency indication frame 61a to the frequency value of the changed position.
[0169] With this configuration, the frequency marker position setting method of the spectrum analyzer 1A according to the modified example uses frequency marker 61, which is displayed on spectrum display screen 50 in association with graph 60 and indicates the position of a frequency corresponding to a point on graph 60, as a tool that can be moved to the position of a frequency that requires a change, and moves the position of frequency marker 61 to the position of the desired frequency while spectrum display screen 50 is being displayed (S13A), allowing the position of frequency marker 61 to be easily changed to the position of the desired frequency by a simple operation (S14A). This makes it possible to eliminate any complicated work of opening another screen and operating a physical encoder when setting the position of frequency marker 61, and makes it possible to significantly reduce the workload associated with setting the position of frequency marker 61. [Industrial Applicability]
[0170] As described above, the present invention has the effect of making it possible to efficiently set the position of a frequency marker with a small amount of work without the need to open another screen or operate a physical encoder while the spectrum display screen is displayed, and is useful in spectrum analyzers that analyze and display spectrum characteristics in a graph, and in general methods for setting the frequency marker position.
