Abstract

To provide an electronic device, a control method of the electronic device, and a program capable of increasing a possibility of detecting biological information, such as the heartbeat of a monitored subject, by transmission / reception of electric waves.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a signal processing section for detecting vibration of a monitored object on the basis of a transmission signal transmitted as a transmission wave and a reception signal received as a reflection wave when a transmission wave is reflected by the monitored object. The signal processing section generates first information regarding a cardiac sound of the monitored object on the basis of vibration in a first part of the monitored object, and generates second information regarding a pulse wave of the monitored object on the basis of vibration of a second part different from the first part of the monitored object when the first information does not satisfy a predetermined reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
