[0023] The indoor side protruding plate 2222a formed at the upper end of the angle portion 2222 is formed to extend in the forward direction and is disposed along the upper surface of the outdoor side X1 end of the frame member 101. The existing lower frame 22 is fixed at the indoor side X2 end to the frame member 101 of the building skeleton 100 above the opening of the building skeleton 100 via the indoor side protruding plate 2222a at the upper end of the angle portion 2222, and is fixed to the building skeleton 100 at the downward extension plate 22j.
[0024] As shown in Fig. 3, the existing vertical frames 23, 24 are disposed at both left and right ends of the opening of the building skeleton 100, and are fixed at positions offset toward the outside side X1 of the opening. The left and right existing vertical frames 23, 24 have substantially the same structure, except that they are symmetrical. Therefore, the left existing vertical frame 23 of the left and right existing vertical frames 23, 24 will be mainly described. The right existing vertical frame 24 may be described by assigning a reference number corresponding to the left existing vertical frame 23 in Fig. 3, and the description thereof may be omitted. In addition, the detailed description of the right existing vertical frame 24 will be omitted by citing the description of the left existing vertical frame 23 in Fig. 6.
[0025] As shown in Fig. 6, the existing vertical frame 23 has a composite structure in which a resin cover material 232 (resin part) is attached to the inner surface on the inner periphery side of the frame of a metal frame body 231 (metal part), which is the existing vertical frame main body. Therefore, it has excellent heat insulation and moisture prevention properties. The metal frame body 231 is disposed on the outdoor side X1 of the existing vertical frame 23. The resin cover material 232 is attached to the indoor side X2 part of the metal frame body 231.
[0026] The metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 has a side extension plate 23a extending in the forward direction, an outward protruding piece 23b protruding outward in the left-right direction from the outside X1 end of the side extension plate 23a, an inside end 23c rising inward in the left-right direction from the inside X2 end of the side extension plate 23a, and an outward extension plate 23e protruding outward in the left-right direction from midway in the forward direction of the side extension plate 23a.
[0027] The metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 is divided in the front direction into a metal outdoor frame member 2311 (existing frame outdoor part) and a metal indoor frame member 2312 (existing frame indoor part). The outdoor frame member 2311 and the indoor frame member 2312 are both metal frame members, and each is made of an extruded shape frame extruded in the length direction from a metal material such as aluminum. A connecting member 2313 (existing frame connecting member) is arranged between the outdoor frame member 2311 and the indoor frame member 2312. The outdoor frame member 2311 and the indoor frame member 2312 are integrally connected by the connecting member 2313. The connecting member 2313 is made of a member having thermal insulation properties such as resin, and blocks the transfer of heat from the outdoor frame member 2311 to the indoor frame member 2312 in the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23.
[0028] 6, the resin cover material 232 extends over the entire length in the extending direction of the existing vertical frame 23. The resin cover material 232 has a resin cover portion 2321 and an angle portion 2322 made of resin.
[0029] The resin cover portion 2321 is provided from the inner surface on the inner left-right direction of the end portion on the indoor side X2 of the side extension plate 23a of the existing vertical frame 23 to the inner surface of the indoor side end portion 23c of the indoor side X2 of the metal frame body 231. The angle portion 2322 is provided at the end portion on the indoor side X2 of the resin cover portion 2321, and protrudes further toward the indoor side X2 than the indoor side end portion 23c of the metal frame body 231.
[0030] The indoor side protruding plate 2322a formed at the inner end in the left-right direction of the angle portion 2322 is formed to extend in the forward direction at the indoor side X2 end of the existing vertical frame 23, and is disposed along the inner inner side surface in the left-right direction of the frame member 101. The existing vertical frame 23 has the indoor side X2 end fixed to the frame member 101 of the building skeleton 100 via the indoor side protruding plate 2322a at the inner end in the left-right direction of the angle portion 2322 on the side of the opening in the building skeleton 100, and is also fixed to the building skeleton 100 by the outward extension plate 23e.
[0031] The new frame 3 of this embodiment is a dedicated frame formed exclusively for the existing frame 2 so as to correspond to the shape of the existing frame 2. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the new frame 3 is attached to the inner periphery side extending from the existing frame 2 to the frame member 101 in a state in which four frame members, a new upper frame 31, a new lower frame 32, and a pair of new vertical frames 33 and 34, are assembled in advance into a rectangular shape. In detail, the new frame 3 is arranged on the inner periphery side of the existing frame 2 and the frame member 101 by pulling it into the inner periphery side X2 after being brought out from the indoor side X2 of the opening of the building skeleton 100 in a pre-assembled four-sided state. The new frame 3 arranged on the inner periphery side of the existing frame 2 and the frame member 101 is fixed to the building skeleton 100 on the indoor side X2 from the existing frame 2 by screws SC1, SC2, SC3, and SC4, which are fixing members.
[0032] Next, the configurations of the new upper frame 31, the new lower frame 32, and the pair of new vertical frames 33, 34 on the left and right sides of the new frame 3 will be explained individually.
[0033] First, the newly installed upper frame 31 will be described.
[0034] As shown in FIG. 4, the new upper frame 31 extends in the left-right direction along the length of the existing upper frame 21. The new upper frame 31 has a length in the front direction extending from the guide rail 211c of the existing upper frame 21 to the vicinity of the center of the front direction of the frame member 101. The new upper frame 31 is divided into two in the front direction into a metal exterior frame member 311 (outside part of the new frame) and a metal interior frame member 312 (inside part of the new frame). The exterior frame member 311 and the interior frame member 312 are both metal frame members, and are each made of an extruded shape extruded in the length direction from a metal material such as aluminum. A connecting member 313 (new frame connecting member) is arranged between the exterior frame member 311 and the interior frame member 312. The exterior frame member 311 and the interior frame member 312 are integrally connected by the connecting member 313. The connecting member 313 is made of a heat insulating material such as resin, and blocks the transfer of heat from the outer frame member 311 to the inner frame member 312 in the newly installed upper frame 31.
[0035] The new upper frame 31 has a pair of guide rails 314a, 314b for the two shoji screens 41, 42 that are placed inside the new frame 3, and a guide rail 314c for the screen door 43 that is placed on the outermost side X1 of the new frame 3. The guide rails 314b, 314c are arranged on the outer frame member 311 and protrude downward. The guide rail 314a is arranged adjacent to the connecting member 313 in the inner frame member 312 and protrudes downward. The guide rails 314a, 314b, 314c extend over the entire length of the new upper frame 31 in the longitudinal direction.
[0036] 4, the exterior frame member 311 has a hollow portion 3111 having a generally rectangular cross section that extends from a portion where the guide rail 314b is arranged to the connecting member 313, and a hollow portion 3112 having a generally rectangular cross section that is arranged contiguous to the interior side X2 of the hollow portion 3111. The interior frame member 312 has a hollow portion 3121 having a generally rectangular cross section that extends from the connecting member 313 toward the interior side X2.
[0037] A heated foaming material 711 is attached to the upper surface 311a (front surface) of the outdoor frame member 311. The heated foaming material 711 is formed to a predetermined thickness, has a width in the front direction, and extends over the entire length of the new upper frame 31 in the longitudinal direction. The heated foaming material 711 is attached to the upper surface 311a of the outdoor frame member 311 of the new upper frame 31 at a position facing the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 in the front direction so that the heated foaming material 711 foams toward the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21.
[0038] The heated foaming material 711 is attached to the upper surface 311a (the surface facing the existing upper frame 21, the visible surface) on the space side where the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 is placed, at a position facing the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21, and since it foams in the thickness direction due to the heat of the flames in the event of a fire, it foams toward the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21.
[0039] This makes it possible to prevent or delay melting of the connecting member 2113 in the event of a fire. Furthermore, in the event of a fire, by blocking the gap between the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31 with the heated foam material 711, it is possible to prevent heat of a flame from flowing in from the outside side X1 or the inside side X2 between the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31, or to prevent heat of a flame from flowing out from between the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31 to the outside side X1 or the inside side X2.
[0040] The upper surface 311a of the outdoor frame member 311 and the upper surface 312a of the indoor frame member 312 are both arranged on the same plane and are arranged side by side flush in the forward direction of the newly installed upper frame 31.
[0041] The outdoor frame member 311 has an outdoor extension 3113 integrally therewith, which extends toward the outdoor side X1 at a position lower than the upper surface 311a of the outdoor frame member 311. The outdoor extension 3113 is disposed at the end of the outdoor side X1 of the new upper frame 31. The outdoor extension 3113 is disposed between the guide rails 314b and 314c in the projection direction. The outdoor extension 3113 also functions as a drainage groove that drains rainwater that has infiltrated the upper surface of the new upper frame 31 in the projection direction in the left-right direction without flowing into the indoor side X2.
[0042] An outdoor wall portion 315 extending upward in the viewing direction is provided integrally with the outdoor-most X1 portion of the outdoor extension portion 3113. The outdoor wall portion 315 protrudes further upward than the upper surfaces 311a, 312a of the outdoor frame member 311 and the indoor frame member 312, and is disposed so as to overlap, from the outdoor side X1, the outdoor side surface 211d of the guide rail 211c at the outdoor-most X1 position of the existing upper frame 21. As a result, the outdoor side surface 211d (outdoor portion) of the guide rail 211c of the existing upper frame 21 is disposed to be covered by the outdoor wall portion 315 (outdoor portion) of the new upper frame 31.
[0043] A decorative material 316 (covering material) made of a metal material such as aluminum is attached to the exterior wall portion 315 so as to be detachable from the exterior side X1. The decorative material 316 covers the exterior wall portion 315, and extends upward in the visibility direction beyond the existing upper frame 21, forming the visibility surface of the exterior side X1 of the newly installed upper frame 31. The decorative material 316 covers and conceals the sealing material 104 exposed between the existing upper frame 21 and the exterior wall material 102 from the exterior side X1.
[0044] An attachment portion 318 for fixing the new upper frame 31 to the building skeleton 100 is integrally provided at the portion of the new upper frame 31 closest to the indoor side X2. The attachment portion 318 is arranged parallel to the upper surfaces 311a, 312a of the outdoor side frame member 311 and the indoor side frame member 312, and extends in a plate shape from an upper portion of the end surface of the indoor side X2 of the indoor side frame member 312 toward the indoor side X2.
[0045] At least a pair of protrusions 3181 extending in the longitudinal direction of the new upper frame 31 are provided on the upper surface of the mounting portion 318. The pair of protrusions 3181 protrude slightly upward from the upper surface of the mounting portion 318 and are arranged in parallel at a predetermined interval in the projection direction.
[0046] The new upper frame 31 of the new frame 3 assembled on all four sides into a rectangle is positioned on the inner periphery of the area extending from the existing upper frame 21 to the frame member 101. The exterior frame member 311 of the new upper frame 31 is positioned below the existing upper frame 21. The interior frame member 312 of the new upper frame 31 is positioned below the frame member 101.
[0047] As shown in Fig. 4, when a gap is formed between the newly-installed upper frame 31 and the frame member 101, a spacer member 301 is arranged to fill the gap. The spacer member 301 is composed of one or more sheets. The spacer member 301 is formed in a piece shape with a predetermined width in the longitudinal direction of the newly-installed upper frame 31, and is arranged at a plurality of locations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the newly-installed upper frame 31. The thickness of the sheets constituting the spacer member 301 and the number of layers of the sheets are appropriately set according to the size of the gap between the indoor side frame member 312 of the newly-installed upper frame 31 and the frame member 101, etc.
[0048] The portion of the upper surface 311a of the outdoor frame member 311 on the indoor side X2, the upper surface 312a of the indoor frame member 312, the mounting portion 318, and the connecting member 313 abut against and overlap the spacer member 301. The new upper frame 31 of the four-sided assembled new frame 3 is fixed to the building skeleton 100 on the indoor side X2 rather than the existing upper frame 21 by a screw SC1 that penetrates the mounting portion 318 and the spacer member 301 from the indoor side X2. The screw SC1 penetrates between a pair of protrusions 3181 of the mounting portion 318. The pair of protrusions 3181 abut against the spacer member 301 and suppress deformation of the mounting portion 318 when the tightening torque of the screw SC1 is applied.
[0049] When the new frame 3 is attached to the inner periphery of the existing frame 2, there is no other member between the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31 for attaching the new upper frame 31 to the existing upper frame 21. The new upper frame 31 is arranged so as to directly face the inner periphery of the existing upper frame 21 from above and below. Therefore, the new upper frame 31 can be arranged as close as possible to the existing upper frame 21. Since the new upper frame 31 is not fixed to the existing upper frame 21, even if the existing upper frame 21 is distorted, the new upper frame 31 can be attached without being affected by the state of the distortion. Since the screw SC1 does not contact the existing upper frame 21, heat is not transferred between the existing upper frame 21 and the indoor frame member 312 of the new upper frame 31 via the screw SC1.
[0050] Between the pair of guide rails 314a, 314b of the new upper frame 31, a rail-to-rail cover 3114 made of resin or wood-derived material is attached. The rail-to-rail cover 3114 is disposed across the lower surface of the outdoor frame member 311 and the lower surface side of the connecting member 313 so as to substantially shield the space between the guide rails 314a, 314b of the new upper frame 31. As shown in FIG. 4, the rail-to-rail cover 3114 has a double structure constituted by an upper plate portion 3114a, a lower plate portion 3114b disposed substantially parallel to the lower side of the upper plate portion 3114a, and a plurality of connecting plate portions 3114c connecting the upper plate portion 3114a and the lower plate portion 3114b. The rail-to-rail cover 3114 suppresses the outside air temperature transmitted from the existing upper frame 21 side to the new upper frame 31 from being transmitted to the inner periphery side of the new upper frame 31.
[0051] As shown in Fig. 4, an angle member 319 made of resin or a material derived from wood is attached to the lower part of the end portion on the indoor side X2 of the indoor side frame member 312 of the newly installed upper frame 31. A cover material 3191 made of resin or a material derived from wood is integrally provided on the outdoor side X1 of the angle member 319. A decorative cover 51 made of resin is attached to the angle member 319 by screws 51a.
[0052] The decorative cover 51 extends continuously from the angle member 319 toward the room inside X2 and is disposed across the frame member 101. The decorative cover 51 fixed to the angle member 319 covers the newly installed upper frame 31 and the spacer member 301 between the angle member 319 and the frame member 101 from the room inside X2. The head of the screw SC1 is disposed inside the decorative cover 51. The boundary between the decorative cover 51 and the frame member 101 is shielded by a parting material 61 with an L-shaped cross section that is fixed to the frame member 101 by a screw 61a.
[0053] Next, the new lower frame 32 will be described.
[0054] As shown in FIG. 5, the new lower frame 32 extends in the left-right direction along the length of the existing lower frame 22. The new lower frame 32 has a length in the front direction extending from the guide rail 221c of the existing lower frame 22 to the vicinity of the center of the front direction of the frame member 101. The new lower frame 32 is divided into two in the front direction into a metal exterior frame member 321 (outside part of the new frame) and a metal interior frame member 322 (inside part of the new frame). The exterior frame member 321 and the interior frame member 322 are both metal frame members, and are each made of an extruded shape extruded in the length direction from a metal material such as aluminum. A connecting member 323 (a connecting member for a new frame) is disposed between the exterior frame member 321 and the interior frame member 322. The exterior frame member 321 and the interior frame member 322 are integrally connected by the connecting member 323. The connecting member 323 is made of a heat insulating material such as resin, and blocks the transfer of heat from the outer frame member 321 to the inner frame member 322 in the newly installed lower frame 32.
[0055] The new lower frame 32 has guide rails 324a, 324b, and 324c that protrude upward in correspondence with the guide rails 314a, 314b, and 314c of the new upper frame 31. The guide rails 324a, 324b, and 324c extend over the entire length of the new lower frame 32 in the longitudinal direction. The guide rail 324a on the innermost side X2 is disposed adjacent to the connecting member 323 at the outermost side X1 on the upper surface of the indoor frame member 322. The guide rail 324b is disposed near the center of the upper surface of the outdoor frame member 321 in the forward direction. The guide rail 324c is disposed at the outermost side X1 on the upper surface of the outdoor frame member 321.
[0056] As shown in FIG. 5, the exterior frame member 321 has a hollow portion 3211 bulging downward so as to fit the shape of the existing lower frame 22 .
[0057] The indoor frame member 322 has a hollow portion 3221 with a generally rectangular cross section extending from the connecting member 323 toward the indoor side X2. A step portion 3222 having an upwardly recessed shape is formed in a portion of the lower surface of the indoor frame member 322 facing the outdoor side X1. Two step legs 3223 protruding downward are formed in a portion of the lower surface of the indoor frame member 322 facing the indoor side X2.
[0058] A heated foaming material 721 is attached to the underside 321b (front surface) of the indoor side X2 of the outdoor frame member 321. The heated foaming material 721 is formed to a predetermined thickness, has a width in the front direction, and extends over the entire length in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32. The heated foaming material 721 is attached to the underside 321b of the indoor side X2 of the outdoor frame member 321 of the new lower frame 32 at a position facing the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 in the front direction so that the heated foaming material 721 foams toward the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22.
[0059] The heated foaming material 721 is attached to the underside 321b (the surface on the existing lower frame 22 side, the visible surface) on the space side where the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 is arranged, at a position facing the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22.When a fire occurs, the heat of the flames causes the foaming material to foam in the thickness direction, and therefore foams toward the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22.
[0060] This makes it possible to prevent or delay melting of the connecting member 2213 in the event of a fire. Furthermore, in the event of a fire, by blocking the gap between the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32 with the heated foam material 721, it is possible to prevent heat of a flame from flowing in from the outside side X1 or the inside side X2 between the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32, or to prevent heat of a flame from flowing out from between the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32 to the outside side X1 or the inside side X2.
[0061] A height adjustment member 325 is attached to a portion of the outside side X1 of the new lower frame 32. The height adjustment member 325 extends downward from the new lower frame 32 and is placed on the upper surface of the lower stage 22e between the guide rails 221b, 221c of the existing lower frame 22. By adjusting the height adjustment member 325, the height of the outside side X1 of the new lower frame 32 is adjusted.
[0062] A decorative material 326 (cover material) made of a metal material such as aluminum is attached detachably from the outside surface X1 to the side surface of the new sill 32 on the outside surface X1. The decorative material 326 covers the height adjustment member 325, and extends downward in the visibility direction further than the existing sill 22, forming the visibility surface of the new sill 32. The decorative material 326 covers and conceals the sealing material 104 exposed between the existing sill 22 and the exterior wall material 102 from the outside surface X1.
[0063] An attachment portion 327 for fixing the new lower frame 32 to the building skeleton 100 is integrally provided at the portion of the new lower frame 32 closest to the indoor side X2. The attachment portion 327 extends in a plate shape from a lower portion of the end face of the indoor side X2 of the indoor side frame member 322 toward the indoor side X2.
[0064] At least a pair of protrusions 3271 extending in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32 are provided on the lower surface of the mounting portion 327. The pair of protrusions 3271 protrude slightly downward from the lower surface of the mounting portion 327 and are arranged in parallel at a predetermined interval in the projection direction.
[0065] In the new frame 3 assembled on all four sides into a rectangle, the new lower frame 32 is disposed on the inner periphery of the portion extending from the existing lower frame 22 to the frame member 101. The exterior frame member 321 of the new lower frame 32 is disposed above the existing lower frame 22. The interior frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32 is disposed above the frame member 101.
[0066] The mounting portion 327 abuts against the frame member 101. The new lower frame 32 in the four-sided assembled new frame 3 is fixed to the building skeleton 100 on the indoor side X2 closer to the existing lower frame 22 than the existing lower frame 22 by a screw SC2 that penetrates the mounting portion 327 from the indoor side X2. The screw SC2 penetrates between a pair of protrusions 3271 of the mounting portion 327. The pair of protrusions 3271 abut against the frame member 101 and suppress deformation of the mounting portion 327 when the fastening torque of the screw SC2 is applied.
[0067] As shown in FIG. 5, a spacer member 302 is disposed in the step portion 3222 of the interior frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32. The spacer member 302 is formed in a piece shape having a predetermined width in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32, and is disposed at a plurality of locations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32, or the spacer member 302 is disposed over the entire longitudinal length of the new lower frame 32. The thickness of the sheet constituting the spacer member 302 and the number of layers of the sheet are appropriately set according to the vertical depth of the step portion 3222 and the size of the gap between the interior frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32 and the frame member 101, etc.
[0068] When the new frame 3 is attached to the inner periphery of the existing frame 2, there is no other member between the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32 for attaching the new lower frame 32 to the existing lower frame 22. The new lower frame 32 is arranged so as to directly face the inner periphery of the existing lower frame 22 from above and below. Therefore, the new lower frame 32 can be arranged as close as possible to the existing lower frame 22. Since the new lower frame 32 is not fixed to the existing lower frame 22, even if the existing lower frame 22 is distorted, it can be attached without being affected by the state of the distortion. Since the screw SC2 does not contact the existing lower frame 22, heat is not transferred between the existing lower frame 22 and the indoor frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32 via the screw SC2.
[0069] A cover material 3213 made of resin or wood-derived material is attached between the pair of guide rails 324a, 324b of the new lower frame 32. The cover material 3213 covers the side surface of the guide rail 324b on the indoor side X2 and extends toward the indoor side X2 to cover the upper surface of the outdoor frame member 321 and the upper surface side of the connecting member 323.
[0070] As shown in Fig. 5, an angle member 328 made of resin or wood-derived material is attached to the indoor side frame member 322 of the newly installed lower frame 32. A cover material 3281 made of resin or wood-derived material is integrally provided on the outdoor side X1 of the angle member 328. A resin decorative cover 52 is attached to the angle member 328 by a screw 52a.
[0071] The decorative cover 52 extends continuously from the angle member 328 toward the interior side X2 and is disposed across the frame member 101. The decorative cover 52 fixed to the angle member 328 covers the newly installed sill 32 between the angle member 328 and the frame member 101 from the interior side X2. The heads of the screws SC2 and 352a are disposed inside the decorative cover 52. The boundary between the decorative cover 52 and the frame member 101 is shielded by a parting material 62 with an L-shaped cross section that is fixed to the frame member 101 by a screw 62a.
[0072] Next, the new vertical frames 33, 34 will be described. The left and right new vertical frames 33, 34 have substantially the same structure, except that they are symmetrical. Therefore, the left new vertical frame 33 of the left and right new vertical frames 33, 34 will be mainly described. In the description of the right new vertical frame 34, a reference number corresponding to the left new vertical frame 33 in FIG. 3 may be used and its description omitted. In addition, the detailed description of the right new vertical frame 34 will be omitted by citing the description of the left new vertical frame 33 in FIG. 6.
[0073] As shown in Fig. 6, the new vertical frame 33 extends in the up-down direction along the length of the existing vertical frame 23. The new vertical frame 33 has a length in the projection direction extending from the end of the existing vertical frame 23 on the outside side X1 to near the center in the projection direction of the frame member 101. The new vertical frame 33 is a metal frame member, and is made of extruded shaped members extruded in the length direction from a metal material such as aluminum.
[0074] As shown in FIG. 6, the new vertical frame 33 has a hollow portion 331 having a generally rectangular cross section and arranged on the outdoor side X1, and a hollow portion 332 having a generally rectangular cross section and arranged on the indoor side X2.
[0075] A heated foaming material 731 is attached to an outer surface 331a on the outer side in the left-right direction of a portion corresponding to the hollow portion 331 of the new vertical frame 33. The heated foaming material 731 is formed with a predetermined thickness, has a width in the projection direction, and extends over the entire length in the length direction of the new vertical frame 33. The heated foaming material 731 is attached to the outer surface 331a on the outer side in the left-right direction on the room side X2 of the hollow portion 331 of the new vertical frame 33 at a position facing the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 in the projection direction so as to foam toward the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23.
[0076] The heated foaming material 731 is attached to the outer surface 331a (the surface on the existing vertical frame 23 side, the visible surface) on the space side where the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 is arranged, at a position facing the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23, and since it foams in the thickness direction due to the heat of the flames in the event of a fire, it foams toward the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23.
[0077] This makes it possible to prevent or delay melting of the connecting member 2313 in the event of a fire. Furthermore, by blocking the gap between the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 with the heated foam material 731 in the event of a fire, it is possible to suppress the heat of a flame from flowing in between the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 from the outside side X1 or the inside side X2, or to suppress the heat of a flame from flowing out from between the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 to the outside side X1 or the inside side X2.
[0078] As shown in Figure 6, the outer surface 331a corresponding to the hollow portion 331 and the outer surface 332a corresponding to the hollow portion 332 are both arranged on the same plane and are arranged flush with each other in the projected direction of the newly installed vertical frame 33.
[0079] An outdoor side wall portion 334 extending outward in the find direction is integrally provided at the outermost X1 portion of the new vertical frame 33. The outdoor side wall portion 334 protrudes outward in the find direction further than the outer sides 331a, 332a of the hollow portions 331 and 332, and is disposed so as to overlap the end face 23x of the outermost X1 outward protruding piece 23b of the existing vertical frame 23 from the outdoor side X1. As a result, the end face 23x (outdoor portion) of the outward protruding piece 23b of the existing vertical frame 23 is disposed covered by the outdoor side wall portion 334 (outdoor portion) of the new vertical frame 33.
[0080] A decorative material 335 (covering material) made of a metal material such as aluminum is attached to the exterior wall portion 334 so as to be detachable from the exterior side X1. The decorative material 335 covers the exterior wall portion 334 and extends outward in the visibility direction beyond the existing vertical frames 23, 24 to form the visibility surface of the new vertical frame 33. The decorative material 335 covers and conceals the sealing material 104 exposed between the existing vertical frame 23 and the exterior wall material 102 from the exterior side X1.
[0081] An attachment portion 336 used to fix the new vertical frame 33 to the building skeleton 100 is integrally provided at the portion of the new vertical frame 33 closest to the indoor side X2. The attachment portion 336 extends in a plate shape from the outer lateral portions of the end face of the new vertical frame 33 on the indoor side X2 toward the indoor side X2.
[0082] At least a pair of protrusions 3361 extending in the length direction of the new vertical frame 33 are provided on the outer surface on the outer left-right direction of the mounting portion 336. The pair of protrusions 3361 protrude slightly outward from the outer surface on the outer left-right direction of the mounting portion 336 and are arranged in parallel with each other at a predetermined interval in the projection direction.
[0083] A pair of left and right new vertical frames 33 in the new frame 3 assembled in a rectangular four-sided state are disposed on the inner periphery side of the portion extending from the existing vertical frame 23 to the frame member 101. As shown in FIG. 6, when a gap is formed between the new vertical frame 33 and the frame member 101, a spacer member 303 is disposed so as to fill the gap. The spacer member 303 is constituted by one or more sheets. The spacer member 303 is formed in a piece shape having a predetermined width in the longitudinal direction of the new vertical frame 33, and is disposed at a plurality of locations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the new vertical frame 33. The thickness of the sheets constituting the spacer member 303 and the number of layers of the sheets are appropriately set according to the size of the gap between the new vertical frame 33 and the frame member 101, etc.
[0084] The outer surface 332a and the mounting portion 336 of the new vertical frame 33 abut against and overlap the spacer member 303. The new vertical frame 33 in the four-sided assembled new frame 3 is fixed to the building skeleton 100 on the indoor side X2 closer to the existing vertical frame 23 than the existing vertical frame 23 by a screw SC3 that penetrates the mounting portion 336 and the spacer member 303 from the indoor side X2. The screw SC3 penetrates between a pair of protrusions 3361 of the mounting portion 336. The pair of protrusions 3361 abut against the spacer member 303 and suppress deformation of the mounting portion 336 when the tightening torque of the screw SC3 is applied.
[0085] When the new frame 3 is attached to the inner periphery of the existing frame 2, there is no other member between the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 for attaching the new vertical frame 33 to the existing vertical frame 23. The new vertical frame 33 is arranged so as to directly face the inner periphery of the existing vertical frame 23 on the left and right. Therefore, the new vertical frame 33 can be arranged as close as possible to the existing vertical frame 23. Since the new vertical frame 33 is not fixed to the existing vertical frame 23, even if distortion or the like occurs in the existing vertical frame 23, it can be attached without being affected by the state of the distortion. Since the screw SC3 does not contact the existing vertical frame 23, heat is not transferred between the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 via the screw SC3.
[0086] 6, an angle member 338 made of resin or wood-derived material is attached to the new vertical frame 33. A resin decorative cover 53 is attached to the angle member 338 by a screw 53a.
[0087] The decorative cover 53 extends continuously from the angle member 338 toward the room inside X2, and is disposed across the frame member 101. The decorative cover 53 fixed to the angle member 338 covers the newly installed vertical frame 33 and the spacer member 303 between the angle member 338 and the frame member 101 from the room inside X2. The head of the screw SC3 is disposed inside the decorative cover 53. The boundary between the decorative cover 53 and the frame member 101 is shielded by a parting material 63 having an L-shaped cross section that is fixed to the frame member 101 by a screw 63a.
[0088] A resin cover material 333 is provided on the inner surface of the indoor side X2 portion of the new vertical frame 33. The cover material 333 is disposed adjacent to the outdoor side X1 of the angle member 338, and covers the inner surface of the new vertical frame 33 on the inner side X2 of the new vertical frame 33 from the angle member 338 to the inside in the left-right direction.
[0089] Next, the screens 41 and 42 will be described.
[0090] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the shoji screens 41, 42 are constructed by placing one or more panel members 414, 424 made of glass or the like inside a rectangular frame body consisting of an upper frame 411, 421, a lower frame 412, 422, and a pair of left and right vertical frames 413, 423.
[0091] 2, the upper frame 411, 421 is composed of an upper frame body 4111, 4211 made of an extrusion material extruded in the longitudinal direction from a metal material such as aluminum, and a cover member 4112, 4212 made of a resin or wood-derived material that covers the side surface of the upper frame body 4111, 4211 on the indoor side X2. The upper frame body 4111, 4211 is provided below the guide rails 314a, 314b of the newly installed upper frame 31.
[0092] As shown in Fig. 2, the lower frame 412, 422 is composed of a lower frame body 4121, 4221 made of an extrusion material extruded in the length direction from a metal material such as aluminum, and a cover member 4122, 4222 made of a resin or wood-derived material that covers the side surface of the lower frame body 4121, 4221 on the indoor side X2. The lower frame body 4121, 4221 is provided on the upper part of the guide rails 324a, 324b of the newly installed lower frame 32. A door roller 4123, 4223 is provided inside the lower frame body 4121, 4221 and is placed on the guide rails 324a, 324b so as to be able to roll.
[0093] As shown in FIG. 3, the vertical frames 413, 423 are composed of vertical frame main bodies 4131, 4231 made of extruded shapes extruded longitudinally from a metal material such as aluminum, and cover members 4132, 4232 made of resin or wood-derived material that cover the indoor side X2 side of the vertical frame main bodies 4131, 4231.
[0094] According to the remodeling fitting 1 of the present embodiment, when the new frame 3 is attached to the inner periphery of the existing frame 2, no member for attaching the new frame 3 to the existing frame 2 is interposed between the existing frame 2 and the new frame 3, so the new frame 3 can be arranged as close as possible to the existing frame 2. Therefore, it is possible to construct a remodeling fitting 1 with a dimension of the frame member in the viewing direction as compact as possible. Since the new frame 3 is not fixed to the existing frame 2, it can be attached without being affected by the distortion state of the existing frame 2. Therefore, the workability of the new frame 3 is improved. Since the screws SC1, SC2, SC3, and SC4, which are fixing members, do not come into contact with the existing frame 2, heat is not transferred between the existing frame 2 and the new frame 3 through the screws SC1, SC2, SC3, and SC4, and the insulation is excellent.
[0095] The renovation fitting 1 of this embodiment has the following effects.
[0096] The remodeling fixture 1 of this embodiment is an existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing lower frame 22, existing vertical frames 23, 24) that is attached to an opening of a building skeleton 100, and is made of metal outdoor frame members 2111, 2211, 2311, 2411, indoor frame members 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412, and is arranged between the outdoor frame members 2111, 2211, 2311, 2411 and the indoor frame members 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412, and has thermal insulation properties. The frame includes an existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing lower frame 22, existing vertical frames 23, 24) having connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313, 2413, a new frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new lower frame 32, new vertical frames 33, 34) attached to the inner side of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing lower frame 22, existing vertical frames 23, 24), and heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, 741 arranged to foam toward the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313.
[0097] As a result, in the event of a fire, the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, 741 foam toward the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing lower frame 22, existing vertical frames 23, 24). Therefore, in the event of a fire, melting of the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing lower frame 22, existing vertical frames 23, 24) can be prevented or melting of the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 can be delayed. Thus, fire resistance can be ensured.
[0098] In this embodiment, the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, and 741 are attached to the new frame 3 (the new upper frame 31, the new lower frame 32, and the new vertical frames 33 and 34). This makes it possible to easily attach the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, and 741 to positions where they foam toward the connecting members 2113, 2213, and 2313.
[0099] In this embodiment, the heated foaming materials 711, 721 are attached to the outdoor frame members 311, 321 of the newly-installed frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new lower frame 32). As a result, even if flames invade from the outdoor side X1 in the event of a fire on the outdoor side X1, the heated foaming materials 711, 721 foam, so that melting of the connecting members 313, 323 of the newly-installed frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new lower frame 32) can be prevented or the melting of the connecting members 313, 323 can be delayed.
[0100] In this embodiment, the exterior side surface 211d (outdoor portion) of the guide rail 211c of the existing upper frame 21 is arranged to be covered by the exterior wall portion 315 (outdoor portion) of the new upper frame 31. The end faces 23x, 24x (outdoor portion) of the outward protruding pieces 23b, 24b of the existing vertical frames 23, 24 are arranged to be covered by the exterior wall portions 334, 344 (outdoor portion) of the new vertical frames 33, 34.
[0101] As a result, in the event of a fire occurring on the outdoor side X1, the heat of the flame from the outdoor side X1 is directly transmitted to the new frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new vertical frames 33, 34), and is transmitted to the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing vertical frames 23, 24) via the new frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new vertical frames 33, 34). Therefore, the heat of the flame from the outdoor side X1 is transmitted to the heating foam materials 711, 721, 731, 741 attached to the new frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new vertical frames 33, 34) faster than the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing vertical frames 23, 24). Therefore, the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, 741 tend to foam faster than the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing vertical frames 23, 24) melt. Therefore, in the event of a fire, the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, 741 can foam faster in the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing vertical frames 23, 24) than the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 of the existing frame 2 (existing upper frame 21, existing vertical frames 23, 24) melt. Therefore, the fire resistance can be improved.
[0102] Next, a second embodiment will be described. In the second embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0103] Next, the second embodiment will be described. In the second embodiment, the heated foaming materials 711, 721, 731, and 741 of the first embodiment shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 are not attached to the new frame 3 (new upper frame 31, new lower frame 32, and new vertical frames 33 and 34). In the second embodiment, as shown in Figs. 7 to 9, partition members 81, 82, and 83 are provided, and heated foaming materials 712, 722, and 732 are attached to the partition members 81, 82, and 83. Furthermore, in the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 8, a connecting support plate 35 is provided on the new lower frame 32. In the second embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0104] First, the surrounding structure where the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31 are installed will be described. As shown in Fig. 7, a partition member 81 is attached to the existing upper frame 21. A heat-foaming material 712 is attached to the upper surface of the partition member 81. The heat-foaming material 711 of the first embodiment shown in Fig. 4 is not attached to the new upper frame 31 of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 7.
[0105] The partition member 81 separates the space between the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31, and is provided between the existing upper frame 21 and the new upper frame 31. The partition member 81 is formed of a plate material made of a metal material such as aluminum, and is formed to extend over the entire length of the existing upper frame 21 in the longitudinal direction.
[0106] The partition member 81 has a forward direction extension plate 811 (forward direction extension portion) extending in the forward direction below the guide rails 211a and 211b of the existing upper frame 21, an upward inclined plate 812 extending a predetermined length from the outside side X1 end of the forward direction extension plate 811 at an upward incline toward the outside side X1, an outside upward protruding plate 813 protruding upward a predetermined length from the upper end of the upward inclined plate 812, a step plate 814 protruding upward a predetermined length from the inside side X2 end of the forward direction extension plate 811, and an inside mounting extension plate 815 extending a predetermined length from the upper end of the step plate 814 toward the inside side X2.
[0107] The front-direction extension plate 811 is disposed between the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 and the newly-installed upper frame 31. The front-direction extension plate 811 is formed of a planar plate material extending in the front direction, and is disposed with its upper surface on the existing upper frame 21 side abutting the lower end of the guide rail 211a of the existing upper frame 21. The front-direction extension plate 811 extends linearly from the indoor side X2 to the outdoor side X1, from the position of the indoor side X2 end of the resin cover portion 2131 of the resin cover material 213 to a position in front of the guide rail 211b.
[0108] The exterior upward protruding plate 813 is connected to the exterior X1 end of the forward direction extension plate 811 via an upward inclined plate 812, and is positioned in abutment along the interior X2 surface of the guide rail 211b of the existing upper frame 21.
[0109] The indoor side mounting extension plate 815 is formed extending from the upper end of the step plate 814 toward the indoor side X2 in the projection direction, and extends in the projection direction along the lower surface of the indoor side protruding plate 2132a formed at the lower end of the angle portion 2132 of the resin cover material 213 of the existing upper frame 21. The indoor side mounting extension plate 815 is arranged in contact with the lower surface of the indoor side protruding plate 2132a of the angle portion 2132 of the resin cover material 213 of the existing upper frame 21, and is fixed to the indoor side protruding plate 2132a of the angle portion 2132 of the resin cover material 213 of the existing upper frame 21 and the frame member 101 by the screw 815a.
[0110] 7, in the second embodiment, instead of attaching the heated foaming material 711 to the newly installed upper frame 31 in the first embodiment shown in FIG 4, a heated foaming material 712 is attached to the upper surface of the front-direction extending plate 811 of the partition member 81 attached to the existing upper frame 21. The heated foaming material 712 is attached to the upper surface of the front-direction extending plate 811 of the partition member 81 at a position facing the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21.
[0111] The heated foaming material 712 is attached to the upper surface (front surface) of the front-direction extending plate 811 of the partition member 81 at a position facing the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21, and foams in the thickness direction due to the heat of the flame when a fire occurs, so that the foaming material foams toward the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21. This makes it possible to prevent the connecting member 2113 from melting or to delay the melting of the connecting member 2113 when a fire occurs. Also, when a fire occurs, the heated foaming material 712 can foam toward the connecting member 2113 of the metal frame body 211 of the existing upper frame 21 in the space partitioned by the partition member 81. Therefore, by narrowing the space in which the heated foaming material 712 foams with the partition member 81, the amount of the heated foaming material 712 used can be reduced.
[0112] Next, the surrounding structure where the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32 are provided will be described. As shown in Fig. 8, a partition member 82 is attached to the existing lower frame 22. A heat foaming material 722 is attached to the lower surface of the partition member 82. The heat foaming material 721 of the first embodiment shown in Fig. 5 is not attached to the new lower frame 32 of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 8. In addition, a connecting support plate 35 is connected to the new lower frame 32.
[0113] The configuration related to the connecting support plate 35 will be described. As shown in Fig. 8, in the new lower frame 32, the spacer member 302 and the connecting support plate 35 are attached from below to the step portion 3222 of the indoor side frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32 with the screw 352b, filling the gap with the frame member 101.
[0114] The spacer member 302 is composed of one or more sheets. The spacer member 302 is formed in a piece shape with a predetermined width in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32, and is arranged in a plurality of locations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the new lower frame 32, or the spacer member 302 is arranged over the entire longitudinal length of the new lower frame 32. The thickness of the sheets constituting the spacer member 302 and the number of layers of the sheets are appropriately set according to the vertical depth of the step portion 3222 and the size of the gap between the indoor frame member 322 of the new lower frame 32 and the frame member 101, etc.
[0115] The connecting support plate 35 is made of a metal plate such as aluminum, and is formed in a plate shape extending in the front direction as shown in Fig. 8. The connecting support plate 35 is formed in a stepped shape, and extends from the indoor frame member 322, passing under the connecting member 323, to the outdoor frame member 321. The connecting support plate 35 is formed in a piece shape with a predetermined width in the left-right direction of the remodeling fitting 1, and is positioned near the center of the remodeling fitting 1 in the left-right direction.
[0116] Near the center in the left-right direction, which is the length direction of the new lower frame 32 where the connecting support plate 35 is provided, the mounting part 327 of the new lower frame 32 and the two step legs 3223 protruding downward from the indoor side X2 part of the underside of the indoor side frame member 322 are cut out by the width where the connecting support plate 35 is arranged, in the length direction of the new lower frame 32. The connecting support plate 35 is provided near the center in the length direction of the new lower frame 32, at the location where the mounting part 327 and the two step legs 3223 of the new lower frame 32 are cut out and missing.
[0117] 8, the connecting support plate 35 connects the outdoor frame member 321 and the indoor frame member 322 in a state of supporting them from below, straddling the connecting member 323 that connects the outdoor frame member 321 and the indoor frame member 322 in the forward direction. The connecting support plate 35 has an outdoor upper plate 351 arranged on the outdoor side X1, an indoor lower plate 352 arranged on the indoor side X2 and arranged at a position lower than the outdoor upper plate 351, and a downwardly inclined connecting plate 353 formed with a downward slope from the outdoor side X1 toward the indoor side X2, and connecting the outdoor upper plate 351 and the indoor lower plate 352.
[0118] The outdoor upper plate 351 is disposed on the outdoor side X1 and extends approximately horizontally in the forward direction. The outdoor upper plate 351 is disposed below the underside 321b of the outdoor frame member 321 at a portion adjacent to the connecting member 323, and abuts against the underside 321b of the outdoor frame member 321 at a portion adjacent to the connecting member 323, supporting the outdoor frame member 321 from below. The outdoor upper plate 351 is fixed to the lower part of the outdoor side X2 of the outdoor frame member 321 of the new lower frame 32 by screws 351a that penetrate the outdoor upper plate 351 and the lower part of the outdoor side X2 of the outdoor frame member 321 of the new lower frame 32.
[0119] The indoor side lower plate 352 is connected to the indoor side X2 of the outdoor side upper plate 351 via a downwardly inclined connecting plate 353, and extends approximately horizontally in the forward direction at a position lower than the outdoor side upper plate 351. The indoor side lower plate 352 protrudes toward the indoor side X2 beyond the end face of the indoor side X2 of the indoor side frame member 322 of the newly-installed lower frame 32, and extends to the same position as the tip of the mounting portion 327 of the newly-installed lower frame 32.
[0120] The indoor side lower plate 352 has an indoor side X2 portion fixed to the building structure 100 on the indoor side X2 rather than the existing lower frame 22 by a screw 352a penetrating the indoor side lower plate 352 from diagonally above. The screw 352a fixing the indoor side X2 portion of the indoor side lower plate 352 is a screw of similar size as the screw SC2 fixing the mounting portion 327 of the newly-installed lower frame 32 when viewed in the left-right direction, and is arranged at approximately the same position and at approximately the same inclination angle. The indoor side lower plate 352 has an outdoor side X1 portion fixed to the lower part of the indoor side frame member 322 by a screw 352b penetrating the indoor side lower plate 352, the spacer member 302, and the step portion 3222 of the indoor side frame member 322 from below.
[0121] Even if the resin-made connecting member 323 is burned in the event of a fire, the connecting support plate 35 connects the outdoor frame member 321 and the indoor frame member 322 and is formed of a metal plate material, so that separation between the outdoor frame member 321 and the indoor frame member 322 can be suppressed. As a result, even if the resin-made connecting member 323 is burned in the event of a fire, the strength of the newly-installed lower frame 32 can be maintained.
[0122] Furthermore, the connecting support plate 35 is fixed to the building structure 100 at the indoor side X2 portion by the screw 352a, and supports the indoor side frame member 322 of the newly-installed lower frame 32 from below at the outdoor side X1 portion. As a result, since the connecting support plate 35 is fixed to the building structure 100 at the indoor side X2 portion by the screw 352a, the connecting support plate 35 can support the outdoor side frame member 321 of the newly-installed lower frame 32 at the outdoor side X1 portion in a state where it is prevented from sagging downward.
[0123] The partition member 82 will now be described. As shown in Fig. 8, the partition member 82 separates the space between the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32, and is provided between the existing lower frame 22 and the new lower frame 32. The partition member 82 is formed from a plate material made of a metal material such as aluminum, and is formed to extend over the entire length of the existing lower frame 22 in the longitudinal direction.
[0124] The partition member 82 has a vertical extension plate 821 extending a predetermined length in the vertical direction along the outside surface X1 of the guide rail 221a of the existing lower frame 22, and a front-direction extension plate 822 (front-direction extension portion) extending a predetermined length in the front-direction from the upper end of the vertical extension plate 821 to the inside surface X2 of the room.
[0125] The vertical extension plate 821 is formed in the projection direction at a position slightly away from the step 22b between the upper and middle sections 22a and 22c of the existing lower frame 22 toward the outside X1, extending from a position slightly above the middle section 22c of the existing lower frame 22 to a position slightly above the upper end of the guide rail 221a.
[0126] The projection direction extension plate 822 extends in the projection direction from the exterior side X1 to the interior side X2 from a position slightly away from the step 22b between the upper stage 22a and the middle stage 22c of the existing lower frame 22 toward the exterior side X1 to the upper surface of the interior side protruding plate 2222a formed at the upper end of the angle part 2222 of the resin cover material 222. The projection direction extension plate 822 is disposed in contact with the upper surface of the interior side protruding plate 2222a of the angle part 2222 of the resin cover material 222 of the existing lower frame 22 at the end on the interior side X2, and is fixed to the interior side protruding plate 2222a of the angle part 2222 of the resin cover material 222 of the existing lower frame 22 and the frame member 101 by the screw 822a.
[0127] 8, in the second embodiment, instead of attaching the heated foaming material 721 to the newly installed lower frame 32 in the first embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the heated foaming material 722 is attached to the lower surface of the projection direction extension plate 822 of the partition member 82 attached to the existing lower frame 22. The heated foaming material 722 is attached to the lower surface of the outside side X1 of the projection direction extension plate 822 of the partition member 82 at a position facing the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22.
[0128] The heated foaming material 722 is attached to the lower surface (front surface) of the front-direction extending plate 822 of the partition member 82 at a position facing the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22, and foams in the thickness direction due to the heat of the flame when a fire occurs, so that the foaming material foams toward the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22. This makes it possible to prevent the connecting member 2213 from melting or to delay the melting of the connecting member 2213 when a fire occurs. Also, when a fire occurs, the heated foaming material 722 can foam toward the connecting member 2213 of the metal frame body 221 of the existing lower frame 22 in the space partitioned by the partition member 82. Therefore, by narrowing the space in which the heated foaming material 722 foams with the partition member 82, the amount of the heated foaming material 722 used can be reduced.
[0129] Next, the surrounding structure where the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33 are installed will be described. As shown in Fig. 9, a partition member 83 is attached to the existing vertical frame 23. A heat foaming material 732 is attached to the outer surface in the left-right direction of the partition member 83. The heat foaming material 731 of the first embodiment shown in Fig. 6 is not attached to the new vertical frame 33 of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 9.
[0130] The partition member 83 separates the space between the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33, and is provided between the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33. The partition member 83 is formed of a plate material made of a metal material such as aluminum, and is formed to extend over the entire length of the existing vertical frame 23 in the longitudinal direction.
[0131] The partition member 83 has two protruding plates 23f, 23g that protrude inward in the left-right direction from the side extension plate 23a in the outside X1 portion of the side extension plate 23a of the existing vertical frame 23, and includes a left-right extending plate 831 that extends a predetermined length in the left-right direction along the outside X1 surface of the tip of the protruding plate 23f on the outside X1 side, and a frontward extending plate 832 (frontward extending portion) that extends in the frontward direction from the inner left-right end of the left-right extending plate 831 to the inside X2.
[0132] The left-right extending plate 831 is arranged to abut the surface of the outside side X1 of the tip of the protruding plate 23f of the existing vertical frame 23 and extend a predetermined length in the left-right direction. The front-direction extending plate 832 is arranged between the existing vertical frame 23 and the new vertical frame 33, and is formed of a planar plate material extending in the front-direction. The front-direction extending plate 832 extends in the front-direction from the protruding plate 23f of the existing vertical frame 23 to the inside-direction X2 of the room, from the outside side X1 to the inside side X2, over the inside-direction surface in the left-right direction of the inside-direction protruding plate 2322a formed at the inside end of the angle portion 2322 of the resin cover material 232. The forward direction extension plate 832 is positioned at the end on the indoor side X2 in contact with the inner left-right surface of the indoor side protruding plate 2322a of the angle portion 2322 of the resin cover material 232 of the existing vertical frame 23, and is fixed to the indoor side protruding plate 2322a of the angle portion 2322 of the resin cover material 232 of the existing vertical frame 23 and the frame member 101 by screws 832a.
[0133] 9, in the second embodiment, instead of attaching the heated foaming material 731 to the newly installed vertical frame 33 in the first embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the heated foaming material 732 is attached to the outer left-right surface of the projection direction extension plate 832 of the partition member 83 attached to the existing vertical frame 23. The heated foaming material 732 is attached to the outer left-right surface of the outside side X1 of the projection direction extension plate 811 of the partition member 83 in a position facing the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23.
[0134] The heated foaming material 732 is attached to the outer surface (front surface) in the left-right direction of the front-direction extending plate 832 of the partition member 83 at a position facing the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23, and foams in the thickness direction due to the heat of the flame at the time of fire occurrence, so that the foaming material foams toward the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23. This makes it possible to prevent the connecting member 2313 from melting or to delay the melting of the connecting member 2313 at the time of fire occurrence. Also, at the time of fire occurrence, the heated foaming material 732 can be foamed toward the connecting member 2313 of the metal frame body 231 of the existing vertical frame 23 in the space partitioned by the partition member 83. Therefore, by narrowing the space in which the heated foaming material 732 foams with the partition member 83, the amount of the heated foaming material 732 used can be reduced.
[0135] As described above, in the second embodiment, the heated foaming materials 712, 722, 732, 742 are attached to the partition members 81, 82, 83, 84. This allows the heated foaming materials 712, 722, 732, 742 to be easily attached at positions where they foam toward the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313. In addition, the heated foaming materials 712, 722, 732, 742 are foamed toward the connecting members 2113, 2213, 2313 in the spaces partitioned by the partition members 81, 82, 83, 84, so that the space in which the heated foaming materials 712, 722, 732, 742 foam is narrowed, thereby reducing the amount of the heated foaming materials 712, 722, 732, 742 used.
[0136] Although one embodiment of the remodeling fixture of the present disclosure has been described above, the remodeling fixture of the present disclosure can be modified as appropriate. For example, the remodeling fixture of the present disclosure is not limited to the one having the two shoji screens 41 and 42 described above, but may have three or more shoji screens, or may be a single-sliding window with only one shoji screen. Furthermore, the remodeling fixture of the present disclosure may be a sliding window, a fixed window, a sash window, an outward-tilting window, an inward-tilting window, or a casement window.
[0137] In the above-described embodiment, the heated foaming material is provided in each of the new upper frame 31, the new lower frame 32, and the new vertical frames 33 and 34 that constitute the new frame 3, but this is not limited to this. The heated foaming material may be provided in at least one of the upper, lower, left, and right frame members that constitute the new frame. [Explanation of symbols]
