Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a bracket for connecting sleeve panels, and more specifically, to a bracket for connecting sleeve panels used to install sleeve panels, which are installed with the sleeve protruding to cover gaps, on a support pillar by cantilever support. [Background technology]

[0002] In the case of fences constructed by installing panels between posts, at sites where there is a wall or step perpendicular to the fence at the end, it is difficult to erect a post at the end, and gaps may occur near the end. Conventionally, such gaps have been concealed by fixing a short sleeve panel to the intermediate post with a bracket for the intermediate post, or by welding the furring strip of the sleeve panel to the intermediate post and fixing the sleeve protruding with a cantilever support. In addition, when it is necessary to further stabilize the sleeve panel against external forces, a method has been used in which a U-shaped frame is welded to the intermediate post and the sleeve panel is attached to the frame.

[0003] However, since the conventional intermediate support bracket is shaped to fix both ends of the panel between the supports, when used to fix a sleeve panel, it is unstable against external forces such as wind pressure, and there is a risk of deformation due to insufficient strength. In addition, when welding the furring strips of the sleeve panel to the supports, there is a problem that the manufacturing process increases, which increases costs and manufacturing time. The same problem occurs when welding a U-shaped frame. Furthermore, since the length of the furring strips and U-shaped frame to be welded needs to be the length appropriate for the site, there is also the problem that manufacturing cannot begin until the position of the support at the installation site has been accurately determined. [Figure 7] 13 is a partially omitted front view showing the use state of a second embodiment of a bracket for connecting sleeve panels according to the present invention. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0014] The bracket for connecting sleeve panels according to the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings. The bracket for connecting sleeve panels 1 according to the present invention shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 5 is used to connect the main panel b and the sleeve panel c via the intermediate support a when a short sleeve panel c is used to close a gap that may occur at the end of a fence composed of multiple main panels b of standard span connected via intermediate support a. The main panel b is firmly supported at both ends by the intermediate support a that is erected, but the sleeve panel c is supported by the intermediate support a via the bracket 1 on only one side, and a sleeve support d that is not erected and is in a floating state is attached to the other side as necessary (see Fig. 2).

[0015] Bracket 1 consists of curved section 2 having bolt hole 5 corresponding to a through hole (not shown) formed in intermediate strut a, main wing piece 3 having two bolt holes 7, 8 and extending from one end of curved section 2, and aileron piece 4 having one bolt hole 9 and extending from the other end of curved section 2. Bolt hole 7 on the curved section 2 side of main wing piece 3 and bolt hole 9 on aileron piece 4 are both elongated horizontally to allow play for adjusting the panel line. Bolt hole 8 on the tip side of main wing piece 3 is not elongated horizontally to prevent sleeve panel c from slipping sideways by the amount of the elongated horizontal hole when it is subjected to strong wind pressure, etc.

[0016] Horizontally extending ribs 10, 11 are formed below the bolt holes 7, 8 of the main wing piece 3 and below the bolt hole 9 of the aileron piece 4 to provide rigidity. In addition, reinforcing plates 12, 13 that cover and make surface contact with the corners of the panel furring strips are provided below the rib 10 of the main wing piece 3 and below the rib 11 of the aileron piece 4. In the illustrated example, the reinforcing plates 12, 13 are each in an inverted trapezoidal shape, but this is not limited to this.

[0017] Brackets 1 are used as a pair of brackets 1, 1a formed symmetrically on the left and right, and the pair of brackets 1, 1a are placed opposite each other across the intermediate support a and bolted together to connect the main panel b and the sleeve panel c. Brackets 1, 1a are placed at the upper and lower ends of the intermediate support a, but when used at the lower end of the intermediate support a, they are used upside down compared to when used at the upper end (see Figure 2).

[0018] The curved portion 2 is a portion that holds one half of the intermediate support a, and a bolt hole 5, which is usually a horizontally long hole, is drilled in the upper portion of the curved portion 2. A screw hole 6 is formed below the bolt hole 5, corresponding to a screw hole (not shown) drilled below the through hole of the intermediate support a. By screwing a drill screw 17 from this screw hole 6 into the screw hole of the intermediate support a and tightening it, the fixing strength between the bracket 1 and the intermediate support a can be increased.

[0019] When connecting the main panel b and the side panel c with the intermediate support a in between using a pair of brackets 1, 1a, first, the pair of brackets 1, 1a are fixed to the upper and lower ends of the intermediate support a that has been set up in advance. In this case, first, the curved portion 2 of one bracket 1 is placed on the upper end of the intermediate support a, and the bolt 15 is inserted from the bolt hole 5, passed through the through hole of the intermediate support a, and its tip is projected on the opposite side, and projected from the bolt hole 5 of the other bracket 1a placed on the upper end of the opposite side of the intermediate support a, and the nut 16 is screwed and tightened (see Figs. 3 to 5). At this time, even if the bolt hole 5 and the through hole of the intermediate support a are slightly misaligned, this can be accommodated because the bolt hole 5 is drilled horizontally.

[0020] Also, the drill screw 17 is screwed from the screw hole 6 toward the screw hole 22 of the intermediate support a and tightened to increase the fixing strength to the intermediate support a. A pair of brackets 1, 1a are fixed to the intermediate support a in the same manner at the lower end of the intermediate support a. Also, if necessary, the middle part is connected using a general bracket 51 (see FIG. 2). The brackets 1, 1a are bolted to the intermediate support a in advance with the bolt 15, but the drill screw 17 is driven on-site after the panel line is adjusted. The drill screw 17 serves to prevent the bracket 1 from slipping by the amount of the horizontally long hole when the sleeve panel c is subjected to strong wind pressure, because the bolt hole 7 into which the bolt 19 for fixing the bracket 1 to the sleeve panel c is inserted is a horizontally long hole so that the panel line can be adjusted to be straight.

[0021] As the brackets 1, 1a are fixed to the intermediate support a in the above manner, the upper and lower ends of the main panel b are sandwiched between the aileron pieces 4 of the brackets 1, 1a. Then, a bolt 18 is inserted from the bolt hole 9 of one bracket 1, passed through a through hole previously drilled at the upper and lower ends of the main panel b, and brought out to the opposite side, protruding from the bolt hole 9 of the other bracket 1a, and a nut is screwed in and tightened (see Figures 3 to 5). In this way, the main panel b is connected to the intermediate support a.

[0022] The sleeve panel c can be manufactured in a factory according to the dimensions of the sleeve extension at the site, or it can be formed by cutting a standard panel to the on-site dimensions. The bolt insertion holes on the sleeve panel c side can also be drilled on-site. The sleeve panel c is connected and fixed to the intermediate support a by inserting its edge between the wing pieces 3 of the brackets 1, 1a, inserting the bolts 19, 20 through the bolt holes 7, 8 of one bracket 1, passing them through holes previously drilled in the upper and lower furring strips of the sleeve panel c to the other side, protruding them from the bolt holes 7, 8 of the other bracket 1a, and screwing nuts to tighten them.

[0023] In this way, the upper and lower ends of the sleeve panel c are fixed by bolts at two points to the main wing piece 3 that is reinforced by the rib 10 and extends in the length direction, and furthermore, the reinforcing plate 12 is in surface contact with the upper and lower ends of the sleeve panel c, so that the swinging of the sleeve panel c is suppressed. The reason why the main wing piece 3 is provided with two bolt holes 7, 8 is that although the sleeve support d is attached to the end of the sleeve panel c, the sleeve support d is not buried in the ground but is suspended in the air, and the sleeve panel c is fixed only by connecting to the intermediate support a, so that the two bolts are used to ensure sufficient attachment strength and stability (see FIG. 2). The sleeve support d can be fixed to the sleeve panel c using a conventional bracket 52.

[0024] The second aspect of the present invention is not intended to fill gaps between the end of a fence and a wall surface, as in the first aspect described above, but is intended to fill spaces, for example, between a gate post and a wall surface. In this case, bracket 31 is used to attach sleeve panel c to auxiliary support post e, which is buried next to the gate post and to which sleeve panel c is installed in a cantilevered manner (see Figure 7).

[0025] The bracket 31 is the same as the bracket 1 except that the aileron 4 is removed. That is, in the second embodiment, since there is no main panel b, the aileron 4 for mounting the main panel b is not required. As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, the bracket 31 is composed of a curved portion 32 having a bolt hole 35 corresponding to a through hole (not shown) formed in the auxiliary strut e, a screw hole 36 into which a drill screw 47 is screwed, and a wing piece 33 having two bolt holes 37, 38 and extending from one end of the curved portion 32. The bolt hole 35 and the bolt hole 37 on the curved portion 32 side of the wing piece 33 are each formed as a horizontally elongated hole to provide play. The bolt hole 38 on the tip side of the wing piece 33 is not formed as a horizontally elongated hole in order to prevent the sleeve panel c from slipping sideways by the amount of the horizontally elongated hole when it is subjected to strong wind pressure.

[0026] A horizontally extending rib 40 is formed below the bolt holes 37, 38 of the wing piece 33 to provide rigidity. A reinforcing plate 42 is extended below the rib 40 of the wing piece 33 to cover the corners of the furring strip of the sleeve panel c in face contact. The reinforcing plate 42 in the illustrated example has an inverted trapezoidal shape, but is not limited thereto. The bracket 31 is attached to the auxiliary support e and the sleeve panel c via bolts 45, 49, 50 and drill screw 47, similar to the bracket 1. The function and effect of the bracket 31 of this second embodiment are similar to those of the bracket 1 of the first embodiment, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0027] The bracket for connecting sleeve panels according to the present invention is as described above and has the following features. The brackets 1, 31 have a simple structure and can be supplied at a relatively low cost. When used, the brackets 1, 31 have sufficient strength against wind pressure. No welding work is required when manufacturing the intermediate supports a at the ends, and the sleeve panels c can be manufactured on-site by cutting them from the standard panels (main panels b) to fit the on-site dimensions, eliminating the need for precise on-site measurements prior to manufacture. Even if the installation position of the end intermediate support pillar a is changed immediately before construction, the standard panel can be cut to fit the on-site dimensions to create the sleeve panel c, making it possible to accommodate changes to the support installation position. - The manufacturing process can be shortened, which reduces lead time and costs. [Industrial Applicability]

[0028] Since the sleeve panel connecting bracket of the present invention has the above-mentioned features, it has great industrial applicability. [Explanation of symbols]
