Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair, which enables smooth washing of hair, inhibits fading of dyed hair due to washing, and has excellent stability over time. [Background technology]
[0002] As we age, the number of gray hairs increases, and the need to dye gray hair also increases. In addition, changing hair color to various colors as a fashion is desired regardless of age or gender, and the recent development of hair color products has made it possible for anyone to easily dye their hair in various colors. However, repeated washing with shampoo accelerates the fading of dyed hair, making it difficult to maintain the vivid color as immediately after hair coloring. In addition, hair treated with hair color is chemically damaged. Washing hair in this damaged state makes the hair stiff and prone to tangling, which tends to lead to a vicious cycle in which further damage accumulates in the hair. Various studies have been conducted in the past with the aim of suppressing the fading of dyed hair after hair coloring. For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a hair cleansing composition that combines an N-acyl-alkyl taurate salt, an olefin sulfonate salt, and a cationic polymer, but there is room for improvement in the feel of use, such as smoothness of the fingers when washing the hair, and the fading suppression effect was sometimes insufficient. In addition, in Patent Document 2, the feeling of use is improved by combining a cysteine derivative and a surfactant, but there is no mention of the effect of inhibiting fading of dyed hair, leaving room for improvement. On the other hand, in Non-Patent Document 1, it is reported that a hair wash composition using a specific surfactant is excellent in inhibiting fading, but depending on the dye used for dyeing hair, the effect may not be fully exerted. Thus, there is a strong demand for a composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair that allows smooth washing and fully exerts the effect of inhibiting fading against various hair colors and dyes. [0004] [Non-Patent Document 1] Ryuji Kikuchi, Fragrance Journal, 34, 58-62 (2006). Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] In order to solve these problems, the main object of the present invention is to provide a composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair, which allows smooth washing of hair, inhibits fading of dyed hair due to washing, and has excellent stability over time. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] As a result of extensive research into solving the above problems, the inventors have found that a composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair containing succinoyl arginine or a salt thereof, hydroxyalkyl (C12-14) hydroxyethyl sarcosine, and an anionic surfactant in a specific formulation and pH can be used to achieve the desired smoothness during washing, inhibit fading of dyed hair due to washing, and also improve the stability of the composition over time, thereby completing the present invention.
[0007] That is, the present invention is as follows. (1) The composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair contains (A) 0.001 to 3.5% by weight of succinoyl arginine or a salt thereof, (B) 3.0 to 12.0% by weight of hydroxyalkyl (C12-14) hydroxyethyl sarcosine, and (C) 0.5 to 15.0% by weight of an anionic surfactant, and has a pH of 4.5 to 7.0. (2) The composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair according to (1), wherein the anionic surfactant (C) is at least one selected from the group consisting of N-acylamino acid salts and anionic surfactants having a strong acid group. (3) The composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair according to (2), wherein the N-acylamino acid salt or the anionic surfactant having a strong acid group, which is component (C), is at least one selected from the group consisting of N-acylsarcosine salts, N-acylaspartic acid salts, N-acylmethylalanine salts, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfates, and α-olefin sulfonates. (4) A method for inhibiting fading of dyed hair, using a composition comprising 0.001 to 3.5% by weight of succinoyl arginine or a salt thereof, (B) 3.0 to 12.0% by weight of hydroxyalkyl (C12-14) hydroxyethyl sarcosine, and (C) 0.5 to 15.0% by weight of an anionic surfactant, and having a pH of 4.5 to 7.0. Effect of the Invention
[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair, which allows hair to be washed smoothly, has an excellent effect of inhibiting fading of dyed hair due to washing, and further has excellent stability over time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. The (A) component, succinoyl arginine or a salt thereof, can be, for example, succinoyl arginine Na, which can be obtained by reacting arginine with succinic anhydride. A commercially available product of succinoyl arginine Na is Kawatect (registered trademark) SAS manufactured by Kawaken Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0010] The component (A) is blended for the purpose of improving smoothness during hair washing and suppressing fading of dyed hair due to washing. The component (A) is desirably present in the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair of the present invention at 0.001 to 3.5% by weight. From the viewpoint of further improving smoothness during hair washing, the component (A) is more desirably present at 0.1 to 3.0% by weight. If the component (A) is present at less than 0.001% by weight, the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair of the present invention may not be effective in inhibiting fading due to washing, and if the component (A) is present at more than 3.5% by weight, the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair may become dull over time, deposits may be observed, and other stability may deteriorate.
[0011] An example of a commercially available product of hydroxyalkyl (C12-14) hydroxyethyl sarcosine, component (B), is Softazoline (registered trademark) LMEB manufactured by Kawaken Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.
[0012] The component (B) is blended for the purpose of improving smoothness during hair washing and suppressing fading of dyed hair due to washing. The component (B) is desirably present in the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair at 3.0 to 12.0% by weight. From the viewpoint of further improving smoothness during hair washing, the component (B) is more desirably present at 3.5 to 10.0% by weight. If the component (B) is present below 3.0% by weight, the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair of the present invention may not provide smoothness during hair washing or the effect of suppressing fading due to hair washing, whereas if the component (B) is present above 12.0% by weight, the stability over time of the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair may be deteriorated.
[0013] Although the components (A) and (B) can provide a certain degree of fading inhibition effect when used alone, a sufficient fading inhibition effect can be achieved by using the two components in combination in a specific ratio.
[0014] In general, hair dyeing with hair colorants uses oxidative hair dyes that contain oxidative dyes as active ingredients. Oxidative dyes are further classified into dye intermediates and toning agents (couplers), and the dye intermediates react with each other or with toning agents (couplers) to produce the designed color. For this reason, various colors are designed by combining the dye intermediates and toning agents (couplers) in the oxidative hair dyes.
[0015] Commonly used dyeing intermediates include pyrazoles, diamines, and aminophenols, such as 1-hydroxyethyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole sulfate, paraphenylenediamine, toluene-2,5-diamine, paraaminophenol, and their derivatives and analogues. Toning agents (couplers) are used together with dyeing intermediates, as they develop color only when they react with the dyeing intermediates. Commonly used toning agents (couplers) include 2,4-diaminophenoxyethanol hydrochloride, α-naphthol, 5-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-2-methylphenol, meta-aminophenol, resorcinol, 2,6-diaminopyridine, 5-aminoorthocresol, and their derivatives and analogues.
[0016] Hydroxyalkyl (C12-14) hydroxyethyl sarcosine, component (B) of the present invention, has already been reported to be excellent at inhibiting fading of hair color (Non-Patent Document 1). However, the inventors' investigations showed that it was particularly effective at inhibiting fading of hair dyed with a hair coloring agent containing a toluene-2,5-diamine type dye intermediate.
[0017] On the other hand, the composition for inhibiting discoloration of dyed hair using the combination of components (A) and (B) of the present invention is also excellent in inhibiting discoloration of dyed hair caused by hair coloring agents containing dye intermediates of other diamine, pyrazole, and aminophenol types in addition to toluene-2,5-diamine type. Specific examples of dye intermediates include 1-hydroxyethyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole sulfate, paraphenylenediamine, and paraaminophenol.
[0018] The anionic surfactant, component (C), is blended in the dyed hair fading prevention composition for the purpose of imparting smoothness during hair washing. From the viewpoint of further improving smoothness during hair washing, the total amount is more preferably 2.5 to 13.0% by weight. If the total amount is less than 0.5% by weight, the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair of the present invention may not provide smoothness during hair washing, and if the total amount exceeds 15.0% by weight, the composition for inhibiting fading of dyed hair by hair washing may not provide an effect of inhibiting fading.
