Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a cleaning composition that does not cause rust on metal containers. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, cleaning agents for industrial parts have been used to clean greases attached to the surfaces of industrial machines, transport vehicles, electrical and electronic equipment, building materials, etc. In particular, in transport vehicles such as automobiles, trains, tractors, ships, aircraft, and forklifts, greases for lubrication, cooling, etc. are attached to various parts of the drive and sliding parts, and the surfaces are contaminated when these greases are scattered by driving or when contaminants present in the surrounding environment are attached during driving. Cleaning agents containing petroleum-based hydrocarbons and alcohols have been used to remove such contamination, but since these solvents are highly flammable, non-flammable (non-hazardous) cleaning agents are required. However, since non-flammable cleaning agents have excellent cleaning properties, they are also highly corrosive, and when placed in a metal container, they corrode the inner surface of the container over time, causing rust, resulting in quality defects. In addition, when a fluorine-based solvent is used as a non-flammable cleaning agent component, moisture may enter the metal container due to condensation or repeated opening and closing of the lid. Because water has a smaller specific gravity than fluorinated solvents, water globs float on the liquid surface, and even if the inner walls of the cans were treated with primary rust prevention such as phosphate treatment, rust would still form on the inside of the metal container over time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0007] The present invention will be described in detail below. In the present specification, the expression "X to Y" means that X and Y are numerical values, and X and Y are used to mean the lower limit and upper limit, respectively.

[0008] [Component (A): Fluorine-based solvent] The (A) component that can be used in the present invention is a fluorine-based solvent. The (A) component is a main component having excellent cleaning properties. The fluorine-based solvent in the present invention may contain one or more fluorine atoms, and may further contain other atoms such as other halogen atoms, hydrogen atoms, carbon atoms, oxygen atoms, and nitrogen atoms in addition to fluorine atoms. Examples of the (A) component include fluorine-containing unsaturated hydrocarbon solvents such as hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) and hydrochlorofluoroolefins (HCFOs); fluorine-containing saturated hydrocarbon solvents such as hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs); hydrofluoroethers (HFEs), perfluoropolyethers (PFPEs), and the like. These (A) components may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Among these (A) components, hydrochlorofluoroolefins (HCFOs) are preferred from the viewpoints of excellent cleaning properties and excellent compatibility with the (B) component described below.

[0009] Specific examples of the hydrochlorofluoroolefins include, for example, (E)-1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoropropene ((E)-1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene, HCFO-1233yd(E)), (Z)-1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoropropene ((Z)-1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene, HCFO-1233yd(Z)), (E)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd(E)), (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd(Z)), ( Examples of the hydrochlorofluoroolefins include Z)-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (HCFO-1336mzz(Z)), 1,1-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1-chloro-1,3,3-trifluoropropene, (Z)-1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene (HCFO-1437dycc(Z)), (E)-1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene (HCFO-1437dycc(E)), and 1,3-dichloro-3,3-difluoropropene. The hydrochlorofluoroolefins may be Z or E, or may be a mixture of Z and E.

[0010] Examples of commercially available hydrochlorofluoroolefins include, but are not limited to, AMOLEA (registered trademark) AS-300 (manufactured by AGC Corporation), CELEFIN (registered trademark, the same applies below) 1233Z (manufactured by Central Glass Co., Ltd.), and the like.

[0011] From the viewpoint of cleaning properties, the hydrochlorofluoroolefins preferably have a boiling point of 30 to 150° C. under atmospheric pressure, more preferably 30 to 100° C. The hydrochlorofluoroolefins are most preferably composed of at least one of 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene and (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. When 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoropropene is used, it is preferable that the hydrochlorofluoroolefin contains a mixture of Z and E isomers.

[0012] Component (A) has an extremely small global warming potential (GWP), which can reduce the burden on the environment. Here, global warming potential is an index that expresses the effect of each greenhouse gas on global warming relative to the effect of carbon dioxide, taking into account its duration. Specifically, global warming potential is the cumulative value of the radiant energy given to the Earth within a certain period of time (100 years) when a unit mass (for example, 1 kg) of greenhouse gas is released into the atmosphere, multiplied by the amount of CO2 emitted under the same conditions. 2 The global warming potential is preferably 10 or less, more preferably 7 or less, particularly preferably 5 or less, and most preferably 3 or less (lower limit: 0).

[0013] [Component (B): Rust inhibitor] The component (B) that can be used in the present invention is a rust inhibitor that contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of fatty acid amine salts, organic sulfonate salts, substituted or unsubstituted benzoic acid, and benzotriazole, and has an oxidized wax content of less than 20 mass%. The component (B) is a main component that has good compatibility with the component (A), can suppress rust generation even when the detergent composition comes into contact with metal, and improves quality stability. The components (B) may be used alone or in combination.

[0014] The content of the oxidized wax in the component (B) according to the present invention is less than 20% by mass. That is, the content of the oxidized wax is less than 20% by mass relative to the total mass of the component (B) (100% by mass). If the content of the oxidized wax in the component (B) is 20% by mass or more relative to the total mass of the component (B) (100% by mass), the oxidized wax does not dissolve in the component (A) and precipitates as a solid, which may cause nozzle clogging of an aerosol or the like. In addition, the active ingredient of the rust inhibitor kneaded into the oxidized wax remains in the oxidized wax and does not disperse in the component (A), resulting in a decrease in rust prevention properties.

[0015] Here, the "oxidized wax" is obtained by oxidizing wax such as paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, petrolatum wax obtained during the refining of petroleum fractions, and polyolefin wax obtained by synthesis.

[0016] The content of the oxidized wax in the component (B) is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 5% by mass or less, even more preferably 1% by mass or less, and particularly preferably 0% by mass, based on the total mass of the component (B) (100% by mass). In other words, it is particularly preferable that the component (B) does not contain any oxidized wax at all.

[0023] The above component (B) may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.

[0024] At least one compound selected from the group consisting of the above-mentioned fatty acid amine salts, organic sulfonate salts, substituted or unsubstituted benzoic acids, and benzotriazoles is the main component of component (B), but component (B) may contain further components in addition to these compounds.

[0025] Examples of other components that may be contained in component (B) include mineral oil, desiccants, oxygen scavengers, inorganic or organic corrosion inhibitors, chelating compounds, and the like.

[0026] From the viewpoint of further improving the compatibility between the (A) component and the (B) component, it is preferable that the (B) component is substantially free of water. Note that the term "substantially free of water" includes not only the concept that the (B) component is completely free of water, but also the case where the (B) component contains 0.1% by mass or less of water relative to 100% by mass of the total mass of the (B) component.

By blending the (B) component in an amount (content) of 0.01 to 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the (A) component, rust prevention properties can be exhibited without causing a decrease in cleaning properties or separation during storage.

[0028] <Optional ingredients> Any optional components can be added to the cleaning composition of the present invention as long as they do not impair the characteristics of the present invention. Examples of such components include surfactants, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, chelating agents, and fragrances, and can be appropriately selected as long as they are evenly dissolved and dispersed in the (A) and (B) components. However, from the viewpoint of further exerting the effects of the present invention, it is preferable that the cleaning composition of the present invention is composed of only the (A) and (B) components. It is also preferable that the cleaning composition does not contain any rust inhibitor other than the (B) component.

[0029] <Cleaning method> The cleaning composition of the present invention can be used to clean objects to be cleaned by using methods such as wiping with a cloth rag or brush, immersion, ultrasonic cleaning, spraying with an air spray or air gun, and spraying with an aerosol, but is not limited to these.

[0042] As shown in Tables 1 and 2, the cleaning compositions of Examples 1 to 17 have good compatibility and rust prevention properties. On the other hand, as shown in Table 3, the cleaning compositions of Comparative Examples 1 to 10, which used component (B) outside the scope of the present invention, were found to be poor in at least one of compatibility and rust prevention properties.

[0043] [Washability] Into a 20 mL colorless transparent vial, 10 g of the cleaning composition of Examples 1 to 17 and Comparative Examples 1 to 10 adjusted to 25°C or 40°C was weighed out, 0.05 g of each of the following oils and fats was added, the vial was sealed, and the vial was shaken by hand 30 times. After that, the vial was left to stand for 5 minutes, and the compatibility of each oil and fat in the liquid with the cleaning agent was visually confirmed, and those that were uniformly dissolved were judged to be "good". The oils and fats used in the evaluation were as follows. Engine oil: Castrol engine oil OW-20SN grade manufactured by BP Japan Co., Ltd. Mineral oil grease: ThreeBond1815D manufactured by ThreeBond Co., Ltd. · Synthetic oil: Castrol EDGEOW-40 SN / CF grade manufactured by BP Japan Co., Ltd. Gear oil: Toyota Motor Corporation Toyota Gear Oil Special GL-3 Grade 75W-90 Brake fluid: Toyota Brake Fluid 2500 manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation Silicone oil: DOWSIL SH200 Fluid 1,000cSt manufactured by Dow Toray Industries, Inc.

[0044] It was confirmed that all of the cleaning compositions of Examples 1 to 17 had good compatibility with the above-mentioned oils and fats. On the other hand, when the cleaning compositions of Comparative Examples 1 to 10 were visually inspected in liquid, it was confirmed that all of them were non-uniform. That is, it was confirmed that all of the cleaning compositions of Comparative Examples 1 to 10 had low compatibility with the above-mentioned oils and fats.

[0045] From the above results, it is apparent that the detergent composition of the present invention has excellent cleaning properties and rust prevention properties. [Industrial Applicability]

[0046] The cleaning composition of the present invention is applicable to various cleaning applications since it does not cause rust even when filled in a metal container and can maintain excellent cleaning properties. In particular, since the cleaning composition of the present invention has excellent cleaning properties against dirt such as engine oil, it can be suitably used for cleaning automobile parts and is industrially useful.
