Statistical copolymers comprising vinylbenzocyclobutane and methods of making the same
By introducing and evenly distributing VBCB units into the rubber to form statistical copolyesters, the problem of uneven distribution of existing rubber crosslinking points is solved, the crosslink density and uniformity are significantly improved, and the mechanical properties of rubber are improved.

Abstract
To provide improved polymers having a more even distribution of crosslink points, thereby improving the crosslinking density and crosslink distribution of the cured polymer.SOLUTION: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to polymers, wherein the polymers include a conjugated diene and from about 0.02 wt.% to about 2.0 wt.% of vinylbenzocyclobutane, based on a total weight of the polymer. The polymer is a crosslinkable statistical copolymer of conjugated diene and vinylbenzocyclobutane monomer units.SELECTED DRAWING: None
