[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2021-120365 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2015-017080 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] On the other hand, there has been an issue that when clothes with cosmetics containing ultraviolet absorbing agents on them are washed using chlorine bleach, the clothes turn pink.
[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned current situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide an agent capable of suppressing discoloration of an ultraviolet absorbent caused by a chlorine-based bleaching agent. [0006] The present inventors have conducted extensive research into compounds capable of suppressing discoloration of ultraviolet absorbers, and have found that a polycarboxylic acid polymer having a structural unit derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer and a structural unit derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B), and a polyalkyleneimine polymer having a structural unit derived from an alkyleneimine, are capable of suppressing discoloration of ultraviolet absorbers caused by chlorine bleaches. They have thus come to the realization that the above-mentioned problems can be solved in an excellent manner, and have arrived at the present invention.
[0007] The present invention includes the following coloration inhibitors for ultraviolet absorbents, etc. [1] A coloration inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorber, comprising a polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) having a structural unit (a) derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (A) and a structural unit (b) derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B). [2] The coloring inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorber according to the above [1], wherein the polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) has a content of the structural unit (b) of 15 to 80 mol % relative to 100 mol % of all structural units. [3] A coloration inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorber, comprising a polyalkyleneimine polymer (β) having a structural unit (c) derived from an alkyleneimine. [0008] The coloration inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorbent of the present invention has the above-mentioned constitution and can inhibit the coloration of an ultraviolet absorbent caused by a chlorine bleach, and therefore can be suitably used in cosmetics and the like. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] The preferred embodiments of the present invention are specifically described below, but the present invention is not limited to the following description, and can be modified as appropriate within the scope of the present invention. In addition, a combination of two or more of the individual preferred embodiments of the present invention described below also falls within the preferred embodiments of the present invention.
[0010] [Coloration inhibitor for ultraviolet absorbers] The first coloration inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorber of the present invention contains a polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) having a structural unit (a) derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (A) and a structural unit (b) derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B). The coloring inhibitor for an ultraviolet absorbent according to the second aspect of the present invention contains a polyalkyleneimine polymer (β) having a structural unit (c) derived from an alkyleneimine. In this specification, when the term "the present invention" is used simply, it refers to matters common to the first and second inventions.
[0011] <Polycarboxylic acid polymer (α)> The first coloration inhibitor for ultraviolet absorbers of the present invention is presumably such that the polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) has a structural unit (a) derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (A) and a structural unit (b) derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B), resulting in a sufficient amount of carboxyl groups or salt groups thereof in the polymer, which satisfactorily inhibits the reaction of chlorine bleach with the ultraviolet absorber and thus inhibits coloration.
[0012] The polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) is not particularly limited as long as it has a structural unit (a) derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (A) and a structural unit (b) derived from an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B), but the content of the structural unit (a) is preferably 5 to 95 mol % relative to 100 mol % of all structural units, more preferably 10 to 90 mol %, even more preferably 20 to 85 mol %, particularly preferably 30 to 80 mol %, and most preferably 40 to 75 mol %. The content of the structural unit (a) is preferably 5 to 95 mass% relative to 100 mass% of all structural units, more preferably 10 to 90 mass%, further preferably 20 to 85 mass%, particularly preferably 30 to 80 mass%, and most preferably 35 to 75 mass%. The mass proportion of the structural unit (a) is calculated in terms of sodium salt. Calculation in terms of sodium salt means that even if the carboxyl group of the structural unit (a) is in an acid form, it is calculated as the sodium salt of the carboxyl group. The mass proportion of the following structural unit (b) is also calculated in terms of sodium salt.
[0013] The polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) preferably has a content of the structural unit (b) of 5 to 90 mol % relative to 100 mol % of all structural units. This allows the amount of carboxyl groups or salt groups in the polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) to be more sufficient, and the effects of the present invention can be more fully exhibited. The content of the structural unit (b) is more preferably 10 to 85 mol %, even more preferably 15 to 80 mol %, particularly preferably 20 to 70 mol %, and most preferably 25 to 60 mol %. The content of the structural unit (b) is preferably 5 to 90 mass% relative to 100 mass% of all structural units, more preferably 10 to 85 mass%, further preferably 15 to 80 mass%, particularly preferably 20 to 70 mass%, and most preferably 25 to 65 mass%.
[0014] The polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) may have a structural unit (e1) derived from a monomer (E1) other than the unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (A) and the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (B). The content of the structural unit (e1) is preferably 0 to 10 mol % relative to 100 mol % of all structural units, more preferably 0 to 5 mol %, even more preferably 0 to 1 mol %, particularly preferably 0 to 0.1 mol %, and most preferably 0 mol %. The content of the structural unit (e1) is preferably 0 to 10 mass% relative to 100 mass% of all structural units, more preferably 0 to 5 mass%, even more preferably 0 to 1 mass%, particularly preferably 0 to 0.1 mass%, and most preferably 0 mass%.
[0015] The weight average molecular weight of the polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) is not particularly limited, but is preferably from 2,000 to 100,000, which allows the effects of the present invention to be exhibited more sufficiently. The weight average molecular weight is more preferably 3,000 to 80,000, further preferably 3,000 to 50,000, even more preferably 4,000 to 20,000, and particularly preferably 4,000 to 10,000. The weight average molecular weight of the polycarboxylic acid polymer (α) can be measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC).
