Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an adhesive tape for application to the skin of the body. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, taping tapes have been applied to the body during sports competitions to protect muscles and prevent injuries, etc. These taping tapes come in a variety of types, including non-elastic fixed tapes and elastic tapes, and are usually provided wound on paper cores. As shown in Figure 1, when stored or carried, the adhesive layers exposed on both sides of the cylindrical tape body become contaminated by dust particles and dirt from clothing, causing problems in appearance and hygiene.
[0003] As a current countermeasure, adhesive tape is stored in a paper or plastic storage case (reference number 12) to prevent dirt from adhering to it, as shown in Figure 2. When in use, the tape is stored in the storage case and carried to the competition venue, etc.
[0004] Furthermore, in the case of a roll-type adhesive tape manufactured by winding up an adhesive tape having a substrate (symbol 1), an adhesive layer (symbol 2), and a separator (symbol 3) into a roll, the inner curved surface of the separator (symbol 18) and the outer curved surface of the substrate (symbol 19), which exist in multiple layers, are not adhesive, and the adhesive tape in an integrated rolled state as shown in Figure 1 unravels in the outer circumferential direction, and the unravelled long adhesive tape becomes tangled with itself, making it inconvenient to carry and cumbersome to handle when applying the tape.
[0005] As a current countermeasure, as in
[0003] , adhesive tape is stored in a storage case made of paper or plastic as shown in Figure 2 to prevent the long adhesive tape from coming undone and becoming messy. When using, the tape is carried to the venue etc. while stored in the storage case, and is taken out of the storage case before use. In this case, it is inconvenient because it is time-consuming to take the tape in and out of the storage case when applying it, and time-consuming to store the tape end that has come out of the storage case. Although a storage case such as that shown in the prior art document
[0015] [Design Document 1] Design Registration No. 1752280 has already been invented, it requires the trouble of installing purchased adhesive tape in the storage case, and also requires the purchase cost of the storage case.
[0006] In recent years, acrylic adhesives, which are gentle on the skin, have become popular instead of natural rubber adhesives, which frequently cause skin rashes and other problems when applied for a long period of time, making it possible to apply the tape for a long period of time. In addition, the surface of the tape base material is treated with a water-repellent finish to give the tape surface a water-resistant function, preventing the tape surface from absorbing water and deteriorating due to bathing or doing wet work, and further improving the moisture permeability of the tape base material to maintain breathability to the skin, making it possible to apply the tape for a longer period of time.
[0007] When conventional adhesive tapes are applied for a long period of time, physical friction from clothing and bedding, and water absorption from bathing and other activities involving water can cause the cut surfaces of the substrate (5) exposed on both sides of the width of the tape substrate to fray (6), as shown in Figure 3, causing problems in appearance and hygiene. In some cases, the frayed substrate (7) can rise above the skin surface, causing the tape to peel off.
[0008] One current solution is to strengthen the adhesive strength, but it is necessary to consider the possibility of skin irritation caused by the adhesive strength and ingredients of strong adhesives. Generally, this is simply replaced early, which requires time and cost.
[0009] In addition, special adhesive tapes have been developed to prevent stiff shoulders and back pain, with functional materials such as magnets, titanium, and germanium, or medicinal ingredients added to the base material or adhesive part, as shown in the prior art document
[0017] [Patent Document 1] JP 2002-159864. As an adhesive tape, it not only fixes and protects the body, but also actively adds an improving effect on the body.
[0010] However, when the above adhesive tape is applied for a long period of time, both sides of the adhesive tape may become frayed, causing problems in appearance and hygiene, as in
[0007] . In some cases, the frayed base material (symbol 7) may rise above the skin surface, causing the tape to peel off.
[0011] Similar products such as magnetic necklaces using functional materials such as magnets, titanium, and germanium are also becoming popular. Functional materials such as magnetic powder, titanium powder, and germanium powder are mixed into liquid resin such as natural rubber or silicone rubber, and then solidified and molded into a string shape, which is then worn around the neck. Many people love these products, as they are said to have a proven track record of improving shoulder stiffness and muscle pain by relaxing the muscles through the magnetic force and contact effect of the functional materials, improving blood flow.
[0012] However, conventional magnetic necklaces have a string-like structure and are not suitable for use anywhere other than around the neck. As described in the prior art document
[0016] [Design Document 2] Design Registration No. 1484011 [Description of the Design Article], this article is a magnetic necklace consisting of two linear members made of silicone rubber mixed with magnetic powder, and is a product used as a magnetic therapy device that uses magnetic power to improve blood circulation in muscle tissue, relieve tension, and relieve stiffness. (Omitted) It is also possible to remove each linear member and use it by wrapping it around the arm, etc. (Omitted) As described, magnetic necklaces are limited to use around the neck or wrist at best.
[0013] In addition, special adhesive tapes have been developed that have an improved base material shape and are expected to have a massage effect or skin stimulating effect due to changes in stretching and compression forces generated by human body movements. For example, a product has been developed that prevents stiff shoulders and lower back pain by deforming the adhesive and non-adhesive parts of the tape, as shown in the prior art document
[0018] [Patent Document 2] JP 2019-013739.
[0014] However, when the above adhesive tape is applied for a long period of time, both sides of the adhesive tape may become frayed, causing problems in appearance and hygiene, as in
[0007] . In some cases, the frayed base material (symbol 7) may rise above the skin surface, causing the tape to peel off. [Prior art documents] Design Literature

[0018] [Patent Document 2] Patent Publication 2019-013739 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0019] The objectives of the present invention are, first, to prevent the adhesion of dirt to the adhesive tape during storage or carrying, second, to improve convenience when applying the adhesive tape, third, to improve the appearance and hygiene when the adhesive tape is used for a long period of time, fourth, to add a muscle massaging effect when the adhesive tape is used, and fifth, to provide an adhesive tape that makes it possible to add the efficacy of functional materials when the adhesive tape is used. [Means for solving the problem]
[0020] In order to solve the above problems 1 to 5, the present invention provides a roll-type adhesive tape for application, which is a long adhesive tape comprising a sheet-like substrate (reference number 1), an adhesive layer (reference number 2) formed on one side of the substrate, and a separator (reference number 3) formed on the side opposite the substrate as viewed from the adhesive layer, and which has two layers, a thin film layer (reference number 10) formed by applying and solidifying a liquid resin containing a mixture of functional materials such as magnetic powder, titanium powder, and germanium powder on the circular surfaces (reference number 15) on both sides of the tape body formed by rolling it into a cylindrical shape, and an impregnation layer (reference number 11) formed by impregnating both side edges of the tape in the width direction with the applied liquid resin and solidifying it, on the circular surfaces (reference number 15) on both sides of the tape body. A perspective view of the adhesive tape of the present invention is shown in Figure 5. Effect of the Invention
[0021] The effect of the present invention in achieving the first objective will now be described. In the adhesive tape of the present invention shown in Fig. 5, floating dust particles and dust from clothing are prevented from adhering to the adhesive layers (2) on both sides of the tape body by being blocked by the thin resin layer (10) formed on the exposed adhesive portion on both sides (15) of the tape body which is rolled into a cylindrical shape. Therefore, a storage case (12) is not required for storage or carrying.
[0022] The effect of the present invention on the second problem will be described. In the adhesive tape of the present invention, a thin resin layer (10) formed by solidifying and transforming a liquid resin is formed on both widthwise side surfaces (15) of a base material, adhesive layer, or separator wound in multiple layers in a roll shape, and both side surfaces (15) and the thin resin layer (10) are bonded to each other, and the entire tape is integrated into a cylindrical shape. Therefore, it is possible to prevent some layers of tape present near the outer periphery of the wound adhesive tape from unraveling and becoming tangled in the longitudinal direction, improving the convenience during application. In addition, there is no need to put the adhesive tape in and out of a storage case before and after use, further improving the convenience.
[0023] When using this cylindrically integrated tape, first, while holding the tip of the adhesive tape on the periphery with the fingertips, stretch and pull (symbol 16) in the tangential direction of the periphery, peel (symbol 17) the adhesive tape from the thin resin layer (symbol 10) adhered to both circular surfaces, cut it to the required length with scissors or the like, remove the separator (symbol 3), and apply it to the human body.
[0024] The effect of the present invention in implementing the third problem will be described. Both sides of the adhesive tape of the present invention (reference number 14) are firmly fixed with a resin-impregnated layer (reference number 11) in addition to the thin resin layer (reference number 10) formed on both sides. Therefore, the durability of both sides of the adhesive tape is improved, fraying or unraveling caused by physical friction of clothing or bedding or moisture absorption during bathing or water work is prevented, and the appearance remains clean and hygienic for a long time. In some cases, the frayed cut surface does not rise up from the skin surface and there is little risk of peeling, which is economical as it reduces the effort of replacing the adhesive tape and the cost of replacement tape.
[0025] The effect of the present invention on the fourth problem will be described. The adhesive tape of the present invention has a resin thin film layer (10) and a resin-impregnated layer (11) formed on both sides (16) in the width direction of the tape, and the center between the two sides is not impregnated with resin and is the base material as it is. When this adhesive tape is applied to a joint or muscle, the adhesive tape base material repeatedly expands and contracts due to the movement of the human body. In this case, the base material on both sides of the tape, which is solidified with resin and has a low elongation rate, acts as a fixed tape, and conversely, the center of the tape, which is the base material and has a high elongation rate, acts as an elastic tape. As a result, a difference occurs in the skin pressure force of the tape every time the muscle or joint at the application site expands and contracts, making it possible to obtain a massage effect or a skin stimulating effect.
[0026] The effect of the present invention on the fifth problem will be described. When functional materials such as magnets, titanium, and germanium are mixed into the liquid resin used in the adhesive tape of the present invention and permeated and solidified on both sides (reference numeral 14) in the width direction of the substrate to form a resin thin film layer (reference numeral 10) and a resin impregnated layer (reference numeral 11), a long and thin string-like functional necklace is added to both sides of the adhesive tape. Therefore, when the adhesive tape is cut to the required length and applied to the body, the functional necklace is also applied, and the magnetic force and contact effect of the functional materials such as magnets and titanium relax the muscles, improving blood flow and improving stiff shoulders and muscle pain. In other words, while adding the effect of a functional necklace, it is possible to use the adhesive tape itself to restrict the activity of the body's muscles, or conversely, to use it as sports taping to reinforce injured muscles.
[0027] Moreover, it can be used on areas that cannot be attached with a functional necklace, such as the back, waist, knees, elbows, and fingertips, as shown in Figure 7. As an adhesive tape with a functional necklace, it can be used conveniently in the required length wherever necessary.
[0028] In addition, if the above adhesive tape is cut into a rectangle, it can be used as a functional sheet such as a magnetic sheet. Also, if it is cut into a square, it can be used as a functional seal. In this way, it can be conveniently applied as a sheet or seal for purposes other than long taping tape. In addition, it is advantageous in terms of cost because it is cut from a long adhesive tape.
[0029] The material of the substrate (symbol 1) used in the present invention is preferably natural fiber such as cotton, synthetic fiber such as nylon, polyester, acrylic, or porous plastic such as polyurethane or polyethylene. The above-mentioned materials are used after being processed into woven fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven fabric, sheet, etc. The substrate material may be either non-elastic or elastic. The main purpose of non-elastic substrates is to fix joints, while the main purpose of elastic substrates is to support muscles. Perforations or the like are formed at predetermined positions in the adhesive tape, and the tape is cut off from the perforations for use, eliminating the need for cutting tools such as scissors, which is convenient.
[0030] The adhesive layer (symbol 2) used in the present invention may be made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, acrylic, silicone, urethane, etc., but acrylic, silicone, or urethane is preferable when long-term application is considered. If the adhesive is applied in a striped pattern to form an adhesive surface and a non-adhesive surface, breathability is improved, and long-term application is possible.
[0031] The separator (symbol 3) used in the present invention is preferably paper coated with a release agent or a water-repellent plastic sheet. In the case of adhesive tapes with non-elastic substrates, a separator is often not required because the tape end is attached and fixed to the human body, and then the adhesive tape is applied while being pulled and stretched. In the case of adhesive tapes with elastic substrates, a separator is often required because the tape end is pulled out to the required length, cut, and then applied to the human body.
[0032] The liquid resin used in the present invention may be natural rubber or synthetic rubber, but silicone rubber, which is gentle on the skin, is preferable. The curing method may be heat curing, condensation curing, or curing agent curing, but the curing agent curing method is preferable from the viewpoint of ensuring the impregnation time. It is also preferable that the resin maintains a suitable elasticity and extensibility after curing.
[0033] When the liquid resin used in the present invention is impregnated into a sheet-shaped substrate, it is preferable to impregnate the substrate within 5 mm from both sides of the tape. If the ratio of the resin-impregnated portion of the tape becomes high, the substrate as a whole loses flexibility, making it difficult to apply the tape to curved surfaces such as skin and joints. It is preferable to adjust the impregnation depth on both sides according to the stretchability and flexibility of the substrate and the elasticity and extensibility of the resin.
[0034] Although the present invention has been described above based on the embodiments, it goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be applied in various ways without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
