Abstract

To ensure proper marking, appropriate insertion allowance, and prevention of caulking when the insertion allowance is inappropriate.SOLUTION: In installation where a pipe to be connected is inserted to a socket portion having an annular bulging portion and a sealing member disposed inside the bulging portion, and the pipe to be connected is fixed to the socket portion by performing caulking on both sides of the annular bulging portion and the annular bulging portion, a first mark that indicates a position that is separated from the end face of the pipe to be connected by a predetermined first distance relative to a position of the end face of the socket portion in a state in which the pipe to be connected is inserted to the socket portion with proper insertion allowance is preliminarily applied to the outer peripheral surface of the pipe to be connected, and a first spacing between the end face of the socket portion and the first mark is specified by an image recognition device on the basis of an image captured by an imaging device in a state in which the pipe to be connected is inserted to the socket portion during the installation. When the difference between the first spacing and the first distance is less than a predetermined threshold, caulking is permitted, and when the difference is equal to or greater than the threshold, caulking is not permitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
