Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a tool storage device, and more particularly to a rail for a tool storage device and a tool storage device. [Background technology]

[0002] A variety of tools are generally used to drive driven parts such as screws and nuts. Driven parts come in different sizes and specifications, such as metric and inch, so it is necessary to have tools that correspond to the various sizes and specifications of driven parts. Naturally, if many tools are not arranged and stored according to their size, it will be difficult to find the desired tool whether it is in use or not. Therefore, several corresponding storage shelves and storage devices have been developed.

[0003] However, the conventional storage shelves or storage devices only include a single rail for slidably engaging with the tool holders, and the single rail is parallel to the mounting surface of the conventional storage shelves or storage devices, resulting in a small tool storage capacity and requiring more storage shelves or storage devices to store the tools.

[0004] Therefore, there is a need to provide a new and innovative tool storage rail and tool storage device to solve the above problems. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] A primary object of the present invention is to provide a rail for a tool storage device that can store many tools and can be made compact, and a tool storage device thereof. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a rail for a tool storage device, comprising: an elongated body extending in a longitudinal direction and including two mounting sides extending in the longitudinal direction, the two mounting sides being inclined to form an angle with each other; and two rail grooves provided on the two mounting sides, each including two flanges extending in the longitudinal direction and facing each other, and in which a tool holder is slidably attached.

[0007] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention also provides a tool storage device including a rail of the tool storage device, and a tool holder slidably provided in the rail groove. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0008] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention. [Diagram 2] FIG. 2 is an exploded view of one embodiment of the present invention. [Diagram 3] FIG. 2 is a partial exploded view of one embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 4] FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the present invention. [Diagram 5] FIG. 2 is an enlarged partial cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0009] The following examples are only used to illustrate possible embodiments of the present invention, and are not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention.

[0010] 1 to 5 show one embodiment of the present invention, in which a rail 1 of a tool storage device of the present invention includes a long body 10 and two rail grooves 20. As shown in FIG.

[0011] The elongated main body 10 extends in a longitudinal direction L and includes two mounting sides 11 extending in the longitudinal direction L. The two mounting sides 11 are inclined to each other to form an angle. The angle is 45.0 to 150.0 degrees (for example, but not limited to, 90.0 degrees, 120.0 degrees, or 135.0 degrees). The two rail grooves 20 are provided on the two mounting sides 11, respectively. Each rail groove 20 includes two flanges 21 extending in the longitudinal direction L and facing each other. A tool holder is slidably attached to each rail groove 20. This allows a single tool storage device including the rail 1 to store more tools and to be compact.

[0012] The long body 10 may be integrally molded, and is preferably made of a metal material (e.g., aluminum, aluminum alloy, etc.). The two flanges 21 of each rail groove 20 are parallel to the longitudinal direction L and the two mounting sides 11, which is advantageous for smooth movement of the tool holder.

[0013] In this embodiment, the tool rail 1 further includes a mounting groove 30, which is provided on the mounting side 12 of the elongated body 10, and the two mounting sides 11 and 12 are adjacent to each other, so that the elongated body 10 has a triangular structure. The mounting groove 30 includes two flanges 31 extending in the longitudinal direction L, and the two flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30 extend opposite to each other and in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction L. Each of the flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30 is thicker than each of the flanges 21 of each of the mounting sides 11, and has a high structural strength.

[0014] The rail 1 further includes a plurality of corners 40. One of the corners 40 is integrally connected between the flanges 21 of the two rail grooves 20, and one of the corners 40 is integrally connected between one of the flanges 21 of one of the rail grooves 20 and one of the two flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30. One of the corners 40 is integrally connected between one of the flanges 21 of the other of the rail grooves 20 and the other of the flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30, and the two flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30 are flush with two of the corners 40 on the mounting side 12. Specifically, each of the flanges 31 of the mounting groove 30 forms a square groove with one of the corners 40. In this way, the rail 1 has high structural strength and can be stably mounted on the mounting base.

[0015] In this embodiment, the bottom of at least one of the two rail grooves 20 includes an elongated rib 22 extending in the longitudinal direction L, and the elongated rib 22 is wider than each of the flanges 21 of each of the rail grooves 20. The elongated rib 22 can improve the structural strength of the rail groove 20. Specifically, the elongated rib 22 includes an elongated groove 221. Preferably, the elongated body 10 further includes two ports 13, and the two covers 50 are inserted into the two ports 13 and close the two ports 13, respectively. Furthermore, the elongated body 10 further includes a plurality of coupling holes 14, and each of the covers 50 includes an engagement boss 51 that is releasably engaged with one of the coupling holes 14, and each of the covers 50 further includes a through hole 52 through which a fastener is inserted to tighten the rail 1.

[0016] The present invention also provides a tool storage device 100. The tool storage device 100 includes the rail 1 and at least one tool holder 60, 70 slidably provided in the rail groove 20, and a tool (e.g., a tool head, a sleeve, etc.) is attached to the tool holder 60, 70. The tool holder 60 may include a protrusion 61 that protrudes into the elongated recessed groove 221. The tool holder 70 may include a base 71 and a tool connector 72, the base 71 being slidably provided in the rail groove 20, the tool connector 72 being rotatably connected to the base 71, and a tool (e.g., a tool head) being attached to the tool holder 60, 70.
