Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a nut that can be easily attached to and held in a bolt insertion elongated hole of a supporting member when fastening a supported member to a supporting member with a bolt and nut. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, when joining two plate-shaped components having bolt insertion holes with a bolt and a nut, a clip nut has been used to temporarily hold the nut in a position that matches the bolt insertion hole of one of the components (for example, Patent Document 1). [0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-188218 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] An object of the present invention is to provide a nut that has a different configuration from a clip nut and can be easily attached to and held in a long hole in a support member for inserting a bolt. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] In the following description, reference will be made to the figures of the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. In order to solve the above problems, the easy-to-install nut 1 of the present invention comprises a main body 2 having a threaded hole 22 in the center and a rotation operating portion 23 on its outer periphery, a flange portion 3 provided at one axial end side of the main body 2 and extending from the outer periphery of the main body 2 so as to abut the surface of a support member 101, an insertion shaft portion 4 having a bolt receiving hole 41 continuous with the threaded hole 22 of the main body 2 opening at the center of the tip and provided to protrude from the flange portion 3 and having a cross-sectional shape that can be inserted into the long hole 101a at a predetermined relative rotation angle position around the axis with respect to the long hole 101a, and a pair of clamping pieces 5 provided at the tip of the insertion shaft portion 4 so as to extend outward from opposing positions perpendicular to the axis. The insertion shaft portion 4 is provided with a pair of parallel first opposing flat surfaces 42 that abut against both edges of the elongated hole 101a at the insertion position when the insertion shaft portion 4 is inserted into the elongated hole 101a from the front side of the support member 101, a pair of opposing rolling surfaces 44 that allow normal rotation of 90° about the axis from there to the set position, and a pair of parallel second opposing flat surfaces 43 that abut against both edges of the elongated hole 101a at the set position to stop the normal rotation. The pair of clamping pieces 5 extend outward from the tips of the second opposing flat surfaces 43 of the insertion shaft portion 4 and clamp the peripheral portion of the elongated hole 101a between them and the flange portion 3 at the set position. Effect of the Invention

[0006] According to the present invention, the nut 1 can be temporarily held in the long hole 101a simply by rotating the insertion shaft portion 4 together with the clamping piece 5 from the insertion position into the long hole 101a from the front side of the support member 101 by 90° around the axis to a set position, so that the work of aligning the bolt insertion hole 102a of the supported member 102 with the nut 1, inserting the bolt 6 therein and screwing it into the nut 1 can be easily performed with both hands. [Figure 6] 6 is a cross-sectional view of a fastening portion using a bolt and nut in FIG. 5. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0008] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Here, as shown in Figs. 3 to 6, an example will be described in which a wiring duct 102, which is a supported member, is fastened to an angle steel material 101, which is a supporting member, by a nut 1 and a bolt 6 according to the present invention. The angle steel material 101 has an elongated hole 101a for inserting a bolt, and the wiring duct 102 has a bolt insertion hole 102a corresponding to the elongated hole 101a. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the nut 1 includes a main body portion 2, a flange portion 3, an insertion shaft portion 4, and a pair of clamping pieces 5, which are integrally molded from a synthetic resin. The main body 2 is formed by insert molding an insert nut 21 into a synthetic resin base, and has a screw hole 22 in the center and a rotation operation part 23 on the outer periphery. The screw hole 22 can also be formed in the base itself. The flange portion 3 is disk-shaped and is provided on one axial end side of the main body portion 2 , and extends from the outer periphery of the main body portion 2 in a direction perpendicular to the axis so as to abut against the surface of the support member 101 . The insertion shaft portion 4 protrudes from the flange portion 3 so as to be able to be inserted into the elongated hole 101a, and a bolt receiving hole 41 that is continuous with the screw hole 22 of the main body portion 2 opens at the center of the tip. The insertion shaft portion 4 has a rough shape of a regular square prism with one diagonal portion chamfered into an arc, and is provided with first and second pairs of opposing flat surfaces 42, 43 and a pair of opposing rotating surfaces 44. The mutual distance between the opposing portions 42, 43 is slightly smaller than the width dimension of the elongated hole 101a. Therefore, as shown in Figures 3(a), (b), and (c), the insertion shaft portion 4 can be inserted into the long hole 101a from the front side of the support member 101 at the insertion position where the facing portion 42 is aligned with both edges of the long hole 101a, and can be rotated forward by 90° from this inserted state to the set position where the facing portion 43 is aligned with both edges of the long hole 101a, as shown in Figures 3(a), (b), and (c). At the insertion position, the facing portion 42 abuts against both edges of the long hole 101a to prevent reverse rotation, and at the set position, the facing portion 43 abuts against both edges of the long hole 101a to prevent further forward rotation. The pair of clamping pieces 5 are provided at the tip of the insertion shaft portion 4 so as to extend outward in the direction perpendicular to the axis from one of the opposing portions 43. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 3, when the insertion shaft portion 4 is in the insertion position, the pair of clamping pieces 5 face in the long diameter direction of the elongated hole 101a and can be inserted into the elongated hole 101a together with the insertion shaft portion 4, and as shown in Fig. 4, when the insertion shaft portion 4 is in the set position, the pair of clamping pieces 5 face in the short diameter direction of the elongated hole 101a and cannot pass through the elongated hole 101a. The clamping piece 5 is provided so as to elastically clamp the edge of the long hole 101a between itself and the flange portion 3 when the nut 1 is in the set position, thereby holding the nut 1 on the angle steel material 101. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a wiring duct 102, which is a supported member, is arranged so that a long hole 102a for inserting a bolt corresponds to a long hole 101a of an angle steel material 101, and is fastened to the angle steel material 101 by a bolt 6 and a nut 1. When fastening, the nut 1 is first attached to the long hole 101a of the angle steel material 101 and temporarily held. The nut 1 can be temporarily held in the long hole 101a simply by inserting the insertion shaft 4 together with the clamping piece 5 from the front side of the angle steel material 101 into the long hole 101a from the insertion position (FIG. 3) where the clamping piece 5 faces the length direction of the long hole 101a, and then rotating it 90° forward around the axis to place it in the set position. The nut 1 can be moved appropriately in the length direction of the long hole 101a while being held in the long hole 101a by slightly reversing it from the set position to reduce the engagement between the clamping piece 5 and both edges of the long hole 101a and weakening the clamping force. With the nut 1 held in the long hole 101a, the bolt insertion hole 102a of the wiring duct 102 is aligned with the nut 1, and the bolt 6 is inserted through the washer 7 and screwed into the nut 1. During the screwing operation, the facing portion 43 of the nut 1 abuts against both edges of the long hole 101a to prevent normal rotation, so the nut 1 does not rotate together with the bolt 6, and the bolt 6 can be smoothly screwed into the nut 1. Since there is no need to hold the nut 1 in the hand, the operation can be performed using both hands as necessary. [Explanation of symbols]
