Abstract

To provide a control device and a control method capable of improving readiness of load control during load runback.SOLUTION: A control device controls a gas turbine that drives a generator, and when an instruction is issued during governor operation to lower a load at a predetermined rate of change to a predetermined target load, starts control to lower a control command value of a fuel flow rate supplied to the gas turbine based on the rate of change, and stops control to lower the control command value when the control command value decreases to a fuel flow rate corresponding to the target load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
