Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a tape cutter, and more particularly to a technique for preventing a cut tape from being rewound.
Background Art
[0002] Conventional tape cutters have the drawback that a cut adhesive tape is rewound and adheres to the surface of the adhesive tape, making it difficult to peel off (see the abstract of Patent Document 1). Patent Document 1 discloses a tape cutter aimed at solving this problem.
[0003] The tape cutter disclosed in Patent Document 1 forms a cushion mounting plate by making two cuts in the tape mounting cylinder of the tape cutter, mounts a cushion on the cushion mounting plate, and is configured to give an appropriate contact resistance between the inner circumference of the tape and the cushion, thereby attempting to solve the rewinding problem (see the abstract of the same document). For this reason, since a resistance equivalent to the resistance that prevents the rewinding of the tape also acts when pulling out the tape, there is a problem that an extra force is required for the tape pulling operation.
[0004] The tape cutter disclosed in Patent Document 2 was invented by the same inventor as the present application in order to solve this problem. This tape cutter has a pressing piece that prevents the rotation of the annular tape body by pressing the inner circumferential surface of the annular tape body formed by winding the adhesive tape, and is configured such that the pressing piece separates from the inner circumferential surface of the annular tape body when pulling out the adhesive tape.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0006] The inventor of the present application considered whether it was possible to create a mechanism that prevents the adhesive tape from rewinding by utilizing the adhesiveness of the adhesive tape, instead of a method that hinders its rotation by pressing the annular tape body. The present invention has been made based on such a problem awareness of the inventor of the present application, and an object thereof is to provide a tape cutter that prevents the tape from rewinding by utilizing the adhesiveness of the adhesive tape.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] In order to achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter including a main body portion, a tape cutting blade, a tape stopping member, and a movable member. The main body portion has a tape holding body that detachably and rotatably holds an annular tape body formed by winding an adhesive tape in an annular shape. The tape cutting blade is supported by the main body portion and cuts the adhesive tape drawn out from the annular tape body. The tape stopping member is supported by the main body portion and stops the adhesive tape by receiving the adhesion of the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape. The movable member is movably supported by the main body portion so as to contact and separate from the tape stopping member, and is biased by an elastic restoring force so as to press the tape stopping member. The tape stopping member and the movable member are located at positions where they sandwich each other in the middle of the path of the adhesive tape drawn out from the annular tape body and reaching the tape cutting blade, and the tape stopping member is located on the adhesive surface side of the adhesive tape.
[0008] According to this configuration, since an adhesive tape is used, when pulling out the adhesive tape from the annular tape body, the movable member can be pushed away from the tape fixing member by the tension applied to the adhesive tape. Thereby, since the adhesive tape is separated from the tape fixing member, the adhesive tape can be smoothly pulled out. After cutting the adhesive tape with the tape cutting blade, since there is no longer any tension on the pulled-out adhesive tape, the movable member presses the adhesive tape against the tape fixing member by the elastic restoring force. Since the tape fixing member is located on the adhesive surface side of the adhesive tape, the pressed adhesive tape adheres to the tape fixing member. Thereby, the rewinding of the adhesive tape is prevented.
[0009] According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to the first aspect, further comprising a biasing member that is supported by the main body portion and biases the movable member by the elastic restoring force so that the movable member presses the tape fixing member.
[0010] According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to the second aspect, wherein the movable member has a rotating body that is rotatably supported by the main body portion. According to this configuration, when pulling out the adhesive tape, the rotating body that presses the pulled-out adhesive tape rotates. Therefore, the adhesive tape can be pulled out more smoothly.
[0011] According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to the first aspect, wherein the movable member has a plate-like or sheet-like elastic body whose base end portion is supported by the main body portion and is biased by the elastic restoring force of its own bending deformation so as to press the tape fixing member. According to this configuration, the movable member is simply configured.
[0012] According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to the first aspect, wherein the movable member has a base end portion supported by the main body portion, and as the elastic restoring force, it has a plate-like or sheet-like elastic body that is biased to press the tape holding member by the elastic restoring force of its own bending deformation. The main body portion can be opened and closed doubly, and by opening and closing the portion that supports the tape holding member, it is possible to release the pressing of the tape holding member by the movable member, and while keeping the portion that supports the tape holding member closed, by opening and closing the portion that holds the annular tape body, it is possible to replace the annular tape body while the movable member presses the tape holding member.
[0013] According to this configuration, since it is possible to release the pressing of the tape holding member by the movable member, it is easy to repair the movable member. Further, since it is possible to replace the annular tape body while the movable member presses the tape holding member, it is easy to replace the annular tape body.
[0014] According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to the fifth aspect, wherein the main body portion further has a member that releasably holds the closed state of the portion that supports the tape holding member, and a member that releasably holds the closed state of the portion that holds the annular tape body, of the tape cutter according to claim 1. According to this configuration, the closed state of the portion that supports the tape holding member is releasably held, and the closed state of the portion that holds the annular tape body is releasably held.
[0015] According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tape cutter according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, wherein the tape receiving surface of the tape holding member that receives the adhesive surface of the drawn adhesive tape escapes at an angle at the tape feeding destination of the adhesive tape.
[0016] According to this configuration, the adhesive tape adhered to the tape receiving surface adheres in such a manner that it wraps around from the tape receiving surface and winds around the tape stopper member, thereby avoiding the prevention of the pulling out of the adhesive tape.
Advantages of the Invention
[0017] As described above, according to the present invention, a tape cutter that prevents the rewinding of the tape by utilizing the adhesiveness of the adhesive tape is realized.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[0019] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating the configuration of a tape cutter according to an embodiment of the present invention with an adhesive tape held. FIG. 2 is a photograph of a prototype of the tape cutter illustrated in FIG. 1. The width of the adhesive tape 5 attached to the prototype is about 5 cm. Both FIGS. 1 and 2 are presented with some perspective consideration. This tape cutter 101 is configured as an industrial tape cutter for holding and cutting industrial adhesive tapes as an example. The tape cutter 101 has a main body portion 1 and a tape cutting blade 3.
[0020] The main body portion 1 has a tape holding body 9 that removably and rotatably holds an annular tape body 7 around which the adhesive tape 5 is wound. In the illustrated example, the tape holding body 9 forms a cylindrical body and holds the annular tape body 7 by being inserted into the cavity of the annular tape body 7. The cylindrical tape holding body 9 is set to have an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the annular tape body 7 as an example. Thereby, the tape holding body 9 holds the annular tape body 7 with play. The tape cutting blade 3 is supported by the main body portion 1 and is fixed to the main body portion 1 in the illustrated example. The tape cutting blade 3 is used to cut the adhesive tape 5 pulled out from the annular tape body 7. As an example, the main body portion 1 is made of synthetic resin by integral molding, and the tape cutting blade 3 is made of metal.
[0021] The main body 1 supports a pair of tape fixing members 23 that stop the adhesive tape 5 by receiving the adhesion of the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5. In the illustrated example, the tape fixing member 23 is integrally formed with the main body 1. The main body 1 further supports a movable member 25 that is movably supported by the main body 1 so as to abut against and separate from the tape fixing member 23. In the illustrated example, the movable member 25 is a cylindrical rotating body. The rotating shaft 27 along the central axis of the movable member 25 is guided by a guide hole 31 formed in the main body 1. Thereby, the movable member 25 is supported by the main body 1 so as to be movable and rotatable. In the illustrated example, the guide hole 31 is formed as a long hole.
[0022] The main body 1 further supports a biasing member 33 that biases the movable member 25 so as to press the tape fixing member 23. In the illustrated example, the biasing member 33 is a leaf spring, and biases the movable member 25 by the elastic restoring force of bending deformation. The leaf spring constituting the biasing member 33 is made of, for example, metal or synthetic resin. The tape fixing member 23 and the movable member 25 are arranged at positions where they sandwich each other in the middle of the path of the adhesive tape 5 drawn from the annular tape body 7 to the tape cutting blade 3. The tape fixing member 23 is located on the adhesive surface side of the adhesive tape 5, and the movable member 25 is located on the non-adhesive surface side.
[0023] In the illustrated example, the main body 1 has, in addition to the tape holding body 9, left and right side wall bodies 11 and a head wall body 12 that connects them. The tape holding body 9 is divided into left and right parts. The left divided piece 15 is connected to the left side wall body 11, and the right divided piece 17 is connected to the right side wall body 11. The tape cutting blade 3 is supported by the head wall body 12 by being embedded in the head wall body 12 leaving the tip portion. A pair of tape fixing members 23 project from the left and right side wall bodies 11 so as to face each other. A gap is provided between the pair of tape fixing members 23 to facilitate arranging the adhesive tape 5 between the tape fixing member 23 and the movable member 25. The guide hole 31 for guiding the movable member 25 is provided in the left and right side wall bodies 11. The base end portion (not shown) of the biasing member 33 that biases the movable member 25 is supported by the head wall body 12.
[0024] In the illustrated example, the main body 1 is configured to be openable and closable. A linear groove 13 is formed along the linear connecting portion between the left and right side wall bodies 11 and the head wall body 12 of the main body 1. Along the connecting portion whose thickness is reduced by the groove 13, the left and right side wall bodies 11 can be bent or extended with respect to the head wall body 12, whereby the main body 1 can be opened and closed. A linear groove 14 is formed along the linear boundary portion that divides each of the left and right side wall bodies 11 into an upper side wall body portion 16 and a lower side wall body portion 18. Along the boundary portion thinned by the linear groove 14, the left and right side wall bodies 11 themselves can be opened and closed.
[0025] The left and right split pieces 15, 17 of the tape holder 9 are connected to the lower side wall body portion 18. The pair of tape fixing members 23 are also connected to the lower side wall body portion 18. The guide hole 31 for guiding the movable member 25 is provided in the upper side wall body portion 16. In this way, the main body 1 is configured to be doubly openable and closable because opening the main body 1 along the groove 13 enables the attachment and detachment of the movable member 25, and opening the main body 1 only along the groove 14 enables the replacement of the annular tape body 7 while the movable member 25 is attached.
[0026] FIG. 3 is a photograph of the prototype illustrated in FIG. 2 with the annular tape body 7 removed and unfolded. As in the illustrated example, the main body 1 (see FIG. 1) can be manufactured by integrally molding a synthetic resin. In the illustrated example, the main body 1 is not opened along the groove 13 (see FIG. 1), but is opened only along the groove 14 (see FIG. 1). That is, the upper side wall body portion 16 remains bent with respect to the head wall body 12, and only the lower side wall body portion 18 is opened with respect to the upper side wall body portion 16. Therefore, the movable member 25 remains attached to the upper side wall body portion 16.
[0027] At the axially facing end portions of the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 that constitute the tape holder 9, thin portions 19 and 21 are respectively formed. One thin portion 19 is formed such that the inner peripheral surface recedes at the axially facing end portion of the left split piece 15. The other thin portion 21 is formed such that the outer peripheral surface recedes at the axially facing end portion of the right split piece 17. With the inner peripheral surface of the thin portion 19 and the outer peripheral surface of the thin portion 21 rubbing against each other, the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 are connected to each other. Thereby, the connection state between the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 is maintained by the frictional force between the rubbing peripheral surfaces. By applying a force exceeding the frictional force with a finger, the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 can be pulled apart from each other.
[0028] In this way, the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 are detachable from each other. Convex portions and concave portions may be formed at corresponding portions of the inner peripheral surface of the thin portion 19 and the outer peripheral surface of the thin portion 21, and when they engage with each other, the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 may be maintained in a connected state. When the left split piece 15 and the right split piece 17 are connected, a cylindrical tape holder 9 (see FIG. 1) is formed. At this time, the main body portion 1 is in a closed state along both the groove 13 and the groove 14, and has the shape illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
[0029] As shown in the figure example, in order for the upper part 16 of the side wall body to maintain a state of being bent with respect to the head wall body 12, projecting members 34, 35 that project toward each other are connected to the left and right upper parts 16 of the side wall body. In the figure example, the projecting members 34, 35 are integrally formed with the main body part 1. At the tip ends of the projecting members 34, 35, as an example, thin-walled parts are formed in the same way as the left and right split pieces 15, 17 that constitute the tape holder 9 (not shown in the figure), and these thin-walled parts rub against each other with frictional force, and the projecting members 34, 35 are connected to each other. When the projecting members 34, 35 are connected to each other as in the figure example, they cannot approach each other further, and due to the frictional force, they cannot freely separate from each other. Therefore, the left and right upper parts 16 of the side wall body maintain the posture of being bent at an angle set with respect to the head wall body 12 as in the figure example.
[0030] Figure 4 is a side cross-sectional view illustrating the state when the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out for the tape cutter 101. In the figure example, the biasing member 33 that biases the movable member 25 is a leaf spring, and its base end portion is embedded in the head wall body 12. To use the tape cutter 101, the annular tape body 7 is attached to the tape holder 9, and the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out from the annular tape body 7. The pulled-out adhesive tape 5 is passed between the tape stopper member 23 and the movable member 25. The adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5 passing between the tape stopper member 23 and the movable member 25 faces the tape stopper member 23.
[0031] To use the adhesive tape 5, when the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out in the direction approaching the tape cutting blade 3 as shown in the illustrated example, due to the tension applied to the pulled-out adhesive tape 5, the movable member 25 is pushed against the biasing force of the biasing member 33 and moves away from the tape fixing member 23. By attaching the tip of the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 to an object such as the surface of a cardboard box and moving the main body 1 in the direction of retreating from the attached part while holding the main body 1 by hand, the adhesive tape 5 can be continuously fed out from the annular tape body 7 and continuously attached to the object. Also in this case, the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 will pull the movable member 25 away from the tape fixing member 23 due to the tension. When the movable member 25 is pushed by the adhesive tape 5 and is separated from the tape fixing member 23, the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5 is separated from the tape fixing member 23. Therefore, the pulling out of the adhesive tape 5 is performed smoothly.
[0032] FIG. 5 is a side cross-sectional view illustrating a state of the tape cutter 101 when the adhesive tape 5 is not being pulled out. When the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 is cut by the tape cutting blade 3, the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 loses its tension, so the movable member 25 presses the adhesive tape 5 against the tape fixing member 23 by the biasing force of the biasing member 33. Since the tape fixing member 23 is located on the side of the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5, the pressed adhesive tape 5 adheres to the tape fixing member 23. Thereby, the rewinding of the adhesive tape 5 is prevented. When pulling out the adhesive tape 5 again, as described above, since the movable member 25 moves in the direction away from the tape fixing member 23, the adhesive tape 5 separates from the tape fixing member 23, and the state where the adhesive tape 5 adheres to the tape fixing member 23 is released. As described above, in the tape cutter 101, by utilizing the adhesive force of the adhesive tape 5, the rewinding of the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 is prevented, and the adhesive tape 5 can be pulled out without receiving a resistance as large as the resistance that prevents rewinding.
[0033] FIG. 6 is a perspective view illustrating various forms of the movable member 25 of the tape cutter 101. The form illustrated in FIG. 6(a) is the cylindrical rotating body illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5. The movable member 25 is rotatably and movably supported by the main body 1 by guiding the rotating shaft 27 in the guide hole 31 formed in the main body 1. On the other hand, FIGS. 6(b) and 6(c) illustrate forms in which the movable member 25 is not rotatable. As illustrated in FIG. 6(c), the movable member 25 can also be formed in the shape of a non-rotating body. FIGS. 4(a), (b), and (c) show an example in which a leaf spring that is already bent to some extent in its natural state is further elastically bent and used as the biasing member 33 for biasing the movable member 25, but a flat leaf spring that does not bend may be used by simply elastically bending it.
[0034] When pulling out the adhesive tape 5 for using the adhesive tape 5, the adhesive tape 5 presses the movable member 25 and separates from the tape fixing member 23. Since the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5 faces the tape fixing member 23 and the non-adhesive surface faces the movable member 25, the adhesive tape 5 does not adhere to the movable member 25. Therefore, even if the movable member 25 is not rotatably supported by the main body 1, the resistance force exerted by the movable member 25 when pulling out the adhesive tape 5 is much smaller than the resistance force that prevents rewinding due to the adhesive tape 5 adhering to the tape fixing member 23. For this reason, the pulling out of the adhesive tape 5 is smoothly performed without being hindered by either the tape fixing member 23 or the movable member 25.
[0035] In the form illustrated in Fig. 6(a), since the movable member 25 is rotatable, when pulling out the adhesive tape 5, the movable member 25 rotates so as to feed out the adhesive tape 5. For this reason, the resistance force of the movable member 25 when pulling out the adhesive tape 5 becomes smaller than that in the forms illustrated in Figs. 6(b) and 6(c). Further, since the movable member 25 is rotatable, even when the adhesive tape 5 is a double-sided tape type in which both sides are adhesive surfaces, when pulling out the adhesive tape 5, the resistance by the movable member 25 is suppressed low. That is, the form of Fig. 6(a) also enables the use of the double-sided tape type as the adhesive tape 5.
[0036] Fig. 7 is a side cross-sectional view illustrating the configuration of a tape cutter according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this tape cutter 102, the movable member 25 is configured as a plate-shaped or sheet-shaped elastic body whose base end is supported by the main body 1 and is biased to press the tape stopper member 23 by the elastic restoring force of its own bending deformation. In the illustrated example, the movable member 25 is a leaf spring, and its base end is supported by the head wall body 12 by being fitted into a support hole 37 formed in the inner wall surface of the head wall body 12. The leaf spring constituting the movable member 25 is made of, for example, metal or synthetic resin.
[0037] In order to use the adhesive tape 5, when the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out in the direction approaching the tape cutting blade 3 as in the illustrated example, due to the tension applied to the pulled-out adhesive tape 5, the movable member 25 is pushed against its own biasing force for pressing the tape stopper member 23 and moves away from the tape stopper member 23 (see the movable member 25 represented by the solid line). In order to limit excessive movement of the movable member 25, a limiting member 39 is provided on the main body 1. The limiting member 39 is integrally formed with the main body 1, for example, in the same manner as the pair of tape stopper members 23, and protrudes from the upper portions of the left and right side wall bodies 16 of the main body 1 so as to face each other. The limiting member 39 may also serve as the protruding members 34 and 35 illustrated in Fig. 3. When the movable member 25 is pushed by the adhesive tape 5 and moves away from the tape stopper member 23, the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 5 moves away from the tape stopper member 23. For this reason, the pulling out of the adhesive tape 5 is performed smoothly.
[0038] When the drawn adhesive tape 5 is cut by the tape cutting blade 3, the drawn adhesive tape 5 loses tension, so the movable member 25 presses the adhesive tape 5 against the tape fixing member 23 by its own elastic restoring force (see the movable member 25 shown by the dotted line). Since the tape fixing member 23 is located on the adhesive surface side of the adhesive tape 5, the pressed adhesive tape 5 adheres to the tape fixing member 23. Thereby, the rewinding of the adhesive tape 5 is prevented. When the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out again, as described above, since the movable member 25 moves in a direction away from the tape fixing member 23, the adhesive tape 5 separates from the tape fixing member 23, and the state where the adhesive tape 5 adheres to the tape fixing member 23 is released.
[0039] As described above, also in the tape cutter 102, by utilizing the adhesive force of the adhesive tape 5, the rewinding of the drawn adhesive tape 5 is prevented, and the adhesive tape 5 can be pulled out without receiving a resistance as large as the resistance that prevents rewinding. Further, in the tape cutter 102, the movable member 25 is simply configured.
[0040] FIG. 8 is a perspective view illustrating various forms of the movable member 25 that can be used in the tape cutter 102. The form illustrated in FIG. 8(a) is the leaf spring illustrated in FIG. 7. The illustrated movable member 25 is bent at its base end so as to be insertable into a support hole 37 provided in the head wall body 12. The tip end portion of the movable member 25 is gently curved so as to smoothly follow the drawn adhesive tape 5. When the base end portion is pushed into the support hole 37, the base end portion is stably held in the support hole 37 by elastically deforming so that the bending angle opens. By sandwiching the movable member 25 with fingers and pulling with a certain amount of force, the base end portion can be pulled out of the support hole 37. Thus, the movable member 25 illustrated in FIG. 8(a) is easy to replace.
[0041] In the form illustrated in FIG. 8(b), a protective member 41 is provided at the tip of the leaf spring so that the finger is not stimulated by the tip of the leaf spring. In the illustrated example, the protective member 41 is cylindrical and is made of, for example, synthetic resin. The tip of the leaf spring is embedded in the protective member 41 and is adhered, for example, with an adhesive. If both the leaf spring and the protective member 41 are made of synthetic resin, they may be integrally molded. In the form illustrated in FIG. 8(c), the protective member 41 is formed by curving the tip of the leaf spring into a cylindrical shape. Further, as illustrated in FIG. 8(c), a cavity may be appropriately formed in the leaf spring.
[0042] As illustrated in FIG. 8(d), it is also possible to use a leaf spring with a non-curved tip as the movable member 25. Further, as illustrated in FIG. 8(e), it is also possible to use a flat leaf spring with a non-folded base end as the movable member 25. The movable member 25 in this form is supported by the head wall 12 by having its base end embedded in the head wall 12, similar to the biasing member 33 illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, for example.
[0043] FIG. 9 is a side cross-sectional view illustrating the configuration of a tape cutter according to still another embodiment of the present invention. In this tape cutter 103, the movable member 25 is in the form illustrated in FIG. 8(b) and has the protective member 41 at its tip. Similar to FIG. 7, the state of the movable member 25 when the adhesive tape 5 is pulled out is represented by a solid line. Also, the state of the movable member 25 after the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 is cut by the tape cutting blade 3 is represented by a dotted line.
[0044] FIG. 10 is a side cross-sectional view illustrating the configuration of a tape cutter according to still another embodiment of the present invention. This tape cutter 104 is different from the tape cutter 102 illustrated in FIG. 7 in that the tape receiving surface 43, which is the surface for receiving the adhesive surface of the pulled-out adhesive tape 5, has an angle and escapes at the feeding destination of the adhesive tape 5 with respect to the outer shape of the tape stopper member 23. In the illustrated example, the tape receiving surface 43 is connected to a relief surface 44 that is bent at an angle at the end in the direction in which the adhesive tape 5 is fed.
[0045] By providing such a relief angle on the tape receiving surface 43, the adhesive tape 5 adhered to the tape receiving surface 43 adheres in such a way that it wraps around the tape stopper member 23 by curling from the tape receiving surface 43. Furthermore, the portion of the pulled-out adhesive tape 5 closer to the annular tape body 7 than the tape stopper member 23 or the portion adhered to the annular tape body 7 can be prevented from being hindered from being pulled out. In the illustrated example, the relief surface 44 is bent at an acute angle with respect to the tape receiving surface 43. The angle of the relief does not have to be an acute angle, and it may be a right angle or an obtuse angle.
[0046] FIGS. 11 and 12 are a side cross-sectional view and a perspective view illustrating the groove 14 for the tape cutter 102 of FIG. 7. As in the illustrated example, also in the tape cutter 102, similar to the tape cutter 101 illustrated in FIG. 1, linear grooves 14 can be formed along a linear boundary portion that divides each of the left and right side wall bodies 11 into an upper side wall body portion 16 and a lower side wall body portion 18 (see FIG. 1). It is possible to open and close the left and right side wall bodies 11 themselves along the boundary portion thinned by the linear groove 14.
[0047] Also, similar to the tape cutter 101, in the tape cutter 102, linear grooves 13 can be formed along a linear connecting portion between the left and right side wall bodies 11 and the head wall body 12 in the main body portion 1. Along the connecting portion thinned by the groove 13, the left and right side wall bodies 11 can be bent or extended with respect to the head wall body 12, whereby the main body portion 1 can be opened and closed. Thus, also in the tape cutter 102, similar to the tape cutter 101 illustrated in FIG. 1, the main body portion 1 can be opened and closed doubly. The same applies to other tape cutters 103 and 104.
[0048] FIG. 13 is a front sectional view illustrating the structure of the restricting member 39 for the tape cutter 102 of FIG. 7. In the illustrated example, similar to the pair of tape fixing members 23, the restricting member 39 is integrally formed with the main body portion 1 and projects from the upper portions of the left and right side wall bodies 16 of the main body portion 1 so as to face each other. The restricting member 39 in the illustrated example also serves as the projecting members 34 and 35 illustrated in FIG. 3. In the illustrated example, among the tip portions of the pair of restricting members 39, a protrusion is provided on one side and a hole is provided on the other side, and the pair of restricting members 39 are connected to each other by inserting the protrusion into the hole in a state where they rub against each other with frictional force. When the pair of restricting members 39 are connected in a state of abutting against each other as in the illustrated example, they cannot approach each other further, and due to the frictional force, they cannot freely separate from each other. Therefore, the left and right upper side wall bodies 16 maintain the posture bent at an angle set with respect to the head wall body 12 as illustrated in FIG. 12.
[0049] In the tape cutter 102 illustrated in FIGS. 11 to 13, since the main body portion 1 can be opened and closed along the groove 13, similar to the main body portion 1 of the tape cutter 101, it is easy to manufacture the main body portion 1 by integral molding of synthetic resin. Further, since the main body portion 1 can take an open posture, the pair of restricting members 39 can be easily connected to the upper portions of the left and right side wall bodies 16 by integral molding, adhesion, screwing or other means. That is, the fact that the main body portion 1 can be opened and closed is also convenient for providing the pair of restricting members 39 on the upper portions of the left and right side wall bodies 16.
[0050] In addition, since it is possible to open the main body 1 only along the groove 14, it is possible to replace the annular tape body 7 while keeping the restricting member 39 stopped in the state illustrated in FIGS. 11 to 13. Although it is also possible to replace the annular tape body 7 by opening the main body 1 along the groove 13, by opening the main body 1 only along the groove 14, it is possible to replace the annular tape body 7 without the need to operate the movable member 25 so that the restricting member 39 does not interfere with the movable member 25. That is, the replacement of the annular tape body 7 becomes easy. Also, the replacement of the annular tape body 7 becomes easy in that the work of separating and reconnecting the pair of restricting members 39 is not required.
[0051] FIGS. 14 and 15 are a side cross-sectional view and a perspective view showing examples with different positions of the groove 14 for the tape cutter 102 of FIG. 7. The groove 14 in the illustrated example is below the groove 14 illustrated in FIGS. 11 and 12, and the pair of tape retaining members 23 are connected to the upper side wall body 16 out of the upper side wall body 16 and the lower side wall body 18 separated by the groove 14.
[0052] Also in the illustrated tape cutter 105, since the main body 1 can be opened and closed along the groove 13, it is easy to manufacture the main body 1 by integral molding of synthetic resin, and it is easy to install the pair of restricting members 39. Further, by opening the main body 1, the pair of tape retaining members 23 can be changed from a state of approaching each other to a state of separating from each other, and the pressing state by the movable member 25 can be released. Thereby, repairs such as replacement of the movable member 25 can be performed without being affected by interference from the pair of tape retaining members 23. That is, the repair of the movable member 25 becomes easy.
[0053] In addition, since it is possible to open the main body 1 only along the groove 14, similar to the tape cutter 102 illustrated in FIGS. 11 to 13, it is possible to easily replace the annular tape body 7 while avoiding interference between the restricting member 39 and the movable member 25 and without requiring the operation of separating and reconnecting the pair of restricting members 39. Further, it is possible to replace the annular tape body 7 without opening and closing the pair of tape fixing members 23, that is, with the movable member 25 pressing the tape fixing members 23. Therefore, in order to avoid interference by the movable member 25 when the pair of tape fixing members 23 are opened and closed, the annular tape body 7 can be easily replaced without operating the movable member 25.
