Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] By the way, in the case of a panel, when rounding the corner portion of the substrate formed in a rectangular shape in plan view, etc., between the first straight portion extending in the first direction and the second straight portion extending in the second direction of the outer peripheral edge of the substrate, there may be a case where they are connected by an intersecting extending portion (for example, an arc portion, etc.) extending in a direction intersecting both the first direction and the second direction. However, in a panel having an intersecting extension portion at at least a part of the outer peripheral edge of the substrate, when a downward piece is formed by press molding, wrinkles or the like are likely to occur in a portion corresponding to the intersecting extension portion itself of the substrate or a boundary portion between the intersecting extension portion and the straight portion in the downward piece. That is, there has been a problem that it is difficult to manufacture the side wall portion of a panel having an intersecting extension portion at the outer peripheral edge of the substrate compared to a panel in which the planar shape of the outer peripheral edge is combined only with straight portions. When wrinkles or the like occur in the downward piece, there is a possibility that the cover material may be lifted when the cover material is attached to the side surface of the downward piece.

[0005] On the other hand, it is also conceivable to provide a corner member separate from the downward piece at a portion corresponding to the intersecting extension portion among the side wall portions of the panel. However, also in this case, there is a possibility that the cover material may be displaced by the pressing force acting on the corner member when the cover material is attached.

[0006] The present invention provides a panel structure and a furniture that are easy to attach a covering member to the side surface of a panel body and have excellent appearance over a long period even in a configuration having an intersecting extension portion in the planar shape of the outer peripheral edge.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention adopts the following aspects. (1) The panel structure according to one aspect of the present invention includes a panel body having a surface and side surfaces, and a covering member that covers the side surfaces of the panel body. The panel body includes a base panel having a main wall portion that constitutes the surface, and side wall portions that extend in the thickness direction of the main wall portion from the outer peripheral edge of the main wall portion and constitute a part of the side surfaces, a side surface constituent member that constitutes the side surfaces together with the side wall portions, and a holding portion that holds the side surface constituent member on the base panel. The outer peripheral edge of the main wall portion includes a first base edge portion that linearly extends in a first direction, a second base edge portion that linearly extends in a second direction, and a connecting edge portion that has a component extending in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction and connects between the first base edge portion and the second base edge portion. The side wall portions include a first base wall portion that extends following the first base edge portion, and a second base wall portion that extends following the second base edge portion. The side surface constituent member extends following the connecting edge portion and includes a covering member support portion that is disposed between the first base wall portion and the second base wall portion.

[0008] According to this aspect, a side wall portion of a part corresponding to a connection edge portion having a component extending in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction in the main wall portion is formed by a side surface constituent member separate from the base panel. Thereby, compared with the case where the entire circumference of the side wall portion of the panel body is integrally formed with the base panel by press working or the like, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of wrinkles or the like in a part corresponding to the connection edge portion in the side wall portion of the panel body. That is, by forming a part corresponding to the intersecting extending portion in the side wall portion of the panel body with a side surface constituent member separate from the part corresponding to the straight portion, panel bodies of various shapes having an intersecting extending portion in the planar shape of the outer peripheral edge can be easily manufactured. Thereby, when attaching a covering member to the side surface (base wall portion and covering member support portion) of the panel body, floating of the covering member or the like can be suppressed. Moreover, in this aspect, since the side surface constituent member is held by the base panel by the holding portion, even when a side surface constituent member separate from the base panel is used, it is possible to suppress the side surface constituent member from being displaced with respect to the base panel by the pressing force when attaching the covering member to the covering member support portion. Therefore, it becomes easier to attach the covering member to the side surface of the panel body, so that peeling or the like of the covering member can be suppressed, and a panel structure excellent in appearance over a long period can be provided.

[0009] (2) In the panel structure according to the aspect (1) above, it is preferable that the holding portion includes a first engaging portion formed on the first base wall portion, a second engaging portion formed on the second base wall portion, a first engaged portion formed on the side surface constituent member and engaging with the first engaging portion, and a second engaged portion formed on the side surface constituent member and engaging with the second engaging portion. According to this aspect, the side surface constituent member is firmly held by the base panel. Thereby, displacement of the side surface constituent member with respect to the base panel is suppressed, and it becomes easier to attach a covering member to the side surface of the panel body, so that a panel structure excellent in appearance over a long period can be provided.

[0010] (3) In the panel structure according to the aspect of (1) or (2) above, the panel body includes an inner panel disposed in the inner space surrounded by the side wall portions of the base panel. The inner panel includes a first inner wall portion disposed facing the first base wall portion and a second inner wall portion disposed facing the second base wall portion. The side surface constituent member includes a first sandwiching wall sandwiched between the first base wall portion and the first inner wall portion and a second sandwiching wall sandwiched between the second base wall portion and the second inner wall portion. It is preferable that the first base wall portion and the first inner wall portion, and the second base wall portion and the second inner wall portion together constitute the holding portion. According to this aspect, by sandwiching the sandwiching wall of the side surface constituent member between the base wall portion of the base panel and the inner wall portion of the inner panel, the side surface constituent member is firmly held by the base panel and the inner panel. Thereby, displacement of the corner member in the panel body is suppressed, and it becomes easier to attach the covering member to the side surface of the panel body, so that a panel structure excellent in appearance can be provided over a long period.

[0011] (4) In the panel structure according to any one of the aspects (1) to (3) above, it is preferable that the panel body is formed in a rectangular shape when viewed from the thickness direction, and the covering member support portion constitutes a corner portion of the panel body. According to this aspect, the appearance at the corner portion of the panel body can be improved.

[0012] (5) In the panel structure according to any one of the aspects (1) to (4) above, it is preferable that the covering member integrally covers the side surfaces of the first base wall portion, the second base wall portion, and the covering member support portion among the side surfaces of the panel body. According to this aspect, compared with the case where the side surface of the panel body is covered with a covering member divided into a plurality of parts, the number of ends of the covering member can be reduced. Thereby, the appearance at the side surface of the panel structure can be improved.

[0013] (6) In the panel structure according to any one of the above aspects (1) to (5), the panel body includes an inner panel as the holding portion disposed in the inner space surrounded by the side wall portions of the base panel, and the side surface constituent member includes an opposing wall portion that is continuous with the covering member support portion and extends along the back surface of the main wall portion. The opposing wall portion is held by the base panel in a state of being sandwiched in the thickness direction between the main wall portion and the inner panel, and it is preferable that the main wall portion and the inner panel constitute the holding portion. According to this aspect, the covering member support portion can be reinforced by the opposing wall portion. Further, by sandwiching the opposing wall portion between the main wall portion and the inner panel, the side surface constituent member is firmly held by the base panel. As a result, displacement of the corner member in the panel body is suppressed, and it becomes easier to attach a covering member to the side surface of the panel body, so that a panel structure excellent in appearance over a long period can be provided.

[0014] (7) It is preferable that the furniture according to one aspect of the present invention includes the panel structure according to any one of the above aspects (1) to (6). According to this aspect, furniture provided with panel structures having various planar shapes can be easily manufactured.

Effects of the Invention

[0015] According to each of the above aspects, it is possible to provide a panel structure and furniture that are easy to attach a covering member to the side surface of the panel body and are excellent in appearance over a long period.

[0017] Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the embodiments and modification examples described below, corresponding components may be denoted by the same reference numerals and the description thereof may be omitted. In the following description, expressions indicating relative or absolute arrangements such as "parallel", "orthogonal", "center", "coaxial", etc. not only strictly represent such arrangements, but also represent states in which they are relatively displaced with tolerances and angles or distances that can obtain the same function. Further, in the present embodiment, "facing each other" includes not only the case where the orthogonal directions (normal directions) of two surfaces coincide with each other, but also the case where the orthogonal directions intersect each other.

[0018] [Ceiling accessory 1] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the ceiling accessory 1 seen from the front upper diagonal. The ceiling accessory (accessory) 1 shown in FIG. 1 is a so-called electric ceiling lifting desk installed in various facilities (for example, offices, halls, public facilities, etc.). The ceiling accessory 1 includes a support structure 10, a ceiling (panel structure) 11, and an operation unit 12. In the following description, the direction orthogonal to the floor surface F is defined as the vertical direction (arrow UP is the upper side), and the two directions orthogonal to the vertical direction are defined as the front-rear direction (arrow FR is the front side) and the left-right direction (arrow LH is the left side), respectively.

[0019] <Support structure 10> The support structure 10 supports the top plate 11 from below. The support structure 10 includes a pair of support legs 21 and a connecting beam 22.

[0020] The pair of support legs 21 are respectively provided at positions overlapping both left and right ends in the lateral direction on the top plate 11 in plan view. Each support leg 21 includes a lower arm 25, a lifting leg 26, and an upper arm 27. The lower arm 25 extends in the front - rear direction along the floor surface F. The lower arm 25 is grounded to the floor surface F via an adjuster 28 or the like.

[0021] The lifting leg 26 extends upward from the central portion in the front - rear direction of the lower arm 25. The lifting leg 26 has a configuration in which a plurality of leg cylinders having a common axis along the vertical direction are nested. The lifting leg 26 expands and contracts in the vertical direction (so - called telescopic structure) by the relative movement in the vertical direction of the plurality of leg cylinders, for example, with the lower end of the leg cylinder having the largest outer diameter connected to the lower arm 25. The top plate 11 moves up and down as the lifting leg 26 expands and contracts. Note that the leg cylinders constituting the lifting leg 26 are formed as square cylinders. However, the leg cylinders may be angular cylinders other than square cylinders or may be cylinders or the like.

[0022] The upper arm 27 is connected to the upper end of the leg cylinder having the smallest outer diameter among the lifting legs 26. The upper arm 27 extends in the front - rear direction in a state facing the lower arm 25 in the vertical direction.

[0023] The connecting beam 22 bridges the intermediate portions in the front - rear direction of the upper arms 27. A control unit 29 for controlling the expansion and contraction operation of each lifting leg 26 is directly or indirectly supported by the connecting beam 22.

[0024] <Top plate 11> The top plate 11 is formed in a rectangular shape (square shape) with the left - right direction as the longitudinal direction and the front - rear direction as the short - hand direction in plan view. The top plate 11 is arranged so as to cover the entire support structure 10 from above while being supported by the upper arm 27 and the connecting beam 22.

[0025] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the top plate 11. FIG. 3 is a cross - sectional view corresponding to line III - III of FIG. 1. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the top plate 11 includes a top - plate main body (panel main body) 30 having a lower - surface unit 31 and an upper - surface unit 32, a decorative panel 33, and an edge material (coating member) 34.

[0026] <Lower - surface unit 31> The lower - surface unit (holding part, inner panel) 31 constitutes the lower surface of the top plate 11 and also functions as a strength member of the top plate 11. The lower - surface unit 31 includes a lower - surface member 41 and a plurality of reinforcing beams 42.

[0027] The lower - surface member 41 is integrally formed in a box shape that opens upward by subjecting a plate material such as a metal material to press working. The lower - surface member 41 includes a lower - plate part 45 and a lower - plate side - wall part 46. The lower - plate part 45 is formed in a rectangular shape that is slightly smaller than the outer shape of the top plate 11 in plan view. Specifically, the outer peripheral edge of the lower - plate part 45 includes a pair of lower - plate long - edge parts 45a and a pair of lower - plate short - edge parts 45b.

[0028] Each lower - plate long - edge part 45a extends linearly in the left - right direction in a state facing the front - rear direction. Each lower plate short edge portion 45b extends linearly in the front-rear direction in a state facing each other in the left-right direction. Among the lower plate short edge portions 45b, the lower plate short edge portion 45b located on one side in the left-right direction connects the one-side end portions in the left-right direction of the lower plate long edge portions 45a. Among the lower plate short edge portions 45b, the lower plate short edge portion 45b located on the other side in the left-right direction connects the other-side end portions in the left-right direction of the lower plate long edge portions 45a. That is, in plan view, the linear portions formed by the lower plate long edge portions 45a and the lower plate short edge portions 45b intersect each other (in the illustrated example, they are orthogonal), thereby forming the corner portions (angular portions) of the lower plate portion 45. Therefore, each corner portion of the lower plate portion 45 has a vertex (ridge line).

[0029] The lower surface (back surface) of the lower plate portion 45 constitutes the lower surface of the top plate 11. Among the upper surfaces of the lower plate portion 45, nuts 48 are fixed to the portions that overlap with the upper arms 27 and the connecting beams 22 in plan view. A plurality of bolts (not shown) penetrate the upper arms 27 and the connecting beams 22 from below. Each bolt penetrates the lower plate portion 45 and is fastened to the nut 48.

[0030] FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the top plate 11. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the lower plate side wall portion 46 rises upward from the entire outer peripheral edge of the lower plate portion 45 and is arranged so as to surround the lower plate portion 45 in plan view. The lower plate side wall portion 46 includes a pair of lower side long edge wall portions (first inner wall portions, holding portions) 51 and a pair of lower side short edge wall portions (second inner wall portions, holding portions) 52.

[0031] Each lower side long edge wall portion 51 is continuous with each lower plate long edge portion 45a. Each lower side long edge wall portion 51 is formed symmetrically in the front-rear direction. Therefore, in the following description, one of the lower side long edge wall portions 51 will be taken as an example to describe the details of the lower side long edge wall portion 51. The lower side long edge wall portion 51 is formed in an L shape in cross section. Specifically, the lower side long edge wall portion 51 includes a lower side long edge standing piece 51a and a lower side long edge folding piece 51b.

[0032] The lower long-edge standing piece 51a extends upward from the lower plate long-edge portion 45a in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the lower plate portion 45. The lower long-edge standing piece 51a extends over the entire length of the lower plate long-edge portion 45a. The lower long-edge folding piece 51b extends from the upper end edge of the lower long-edge standing piece 51a inward in the front-rear direction (in a direction approaching the center O (see FIG. 1) of the top plate 11 in plan view) in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the lower long-edge standing piece 51a. The lower long-edge folding piece 51b is formed at a position avoiding at least the left and right both end portions of the lower long-edge standing piece 51a.

[0033] Each lower short-edge wall portion 52 is continuous with each lower plate short-edge portion 45b. Each lower short-edge wall portion 52 is formed symmetrically left and right when viewed from the front-rear direction. Therefore, in the following description, one of the lower short-edge wall portions 52 will be taken as an example to describe the details of the lower short-edge wall portion 52. The lower short-edge wall portion 52 is formed in an L shape in cross section. Specifically, the lower short-edge wall portion 52 includes a lower short-edge standing piece 52a and a lower short-edge folding piece 52b.

[0034] The lower short-edge standing piece 52a extends upward from the lower plate short-edge portion 45b in a state of being orthogonal to the lower plate portion 45. The lower short-edge standing piece 52a extends over the entire length of the lower plate short-edge portion 45b. The front and rear end edges of the lower short-edge standing piece 52a are close to or in contact with the left and right end edges of the corresponding lower long-edge standing piece 51a. Note that the lower short-edge standing piece 52a and the lower long-edge standing piece 51a may be fixed to each other by welding or the like. The lower short-edge folding piece 52b extends from the upper end edge of the lower short-edge standing piece 52a inward in the left-right direction (in a direction approaching the center O of the top plate 11 in plan view) in a state of being orthogonal to the lower short-edge standing piece 52a. The lower short-edge folding piece 52b is formed at a position avoiding at least the front and rear both end portions of the lower short-edge standing piece 52a.

[0035] Note that the formation ranges of the respective standing pieces 51a, 52a and the folding pieces 52a, 52b can be changed as appropriate. Further, the lower plate side wall portion 46 may be configured not to include the folding pieces 51b, 52b as long as it includes at least the standing pieces 51a, 52a.

[0036] The reinforcing beam 42 is a so-called C-shaped channel formed in a C shape that opens upward in a cross-sectional view seen from the left-right direction. As shown in FIG. 3, the reinforcing beam 42 has flanges 42b standing up from both front and rear end edges of a web 42a that constitutes a bottom wall, and a lip 42c formed inward from the upper end edge of the flange 42b. The reinforcing beam 42 has the web 42a fixed to the upper surface of the lower plate portion 45 by adhesion or the like. The reinforcing beam 42 extends in the left-right direction over the entire length of the position that avoids the lower side short edge wall portion 52 in the lower plate portion 45. In the present embodiment, two reinforcing beams 42 are provided at intervals in the front-rear direction. However, the number, position, etc. of the reinforcing beams 42 can be changed as appropriate. Further, the reinforcing beam 42 may be a so-called hat-shaped channel or the like in which the lip 42c is formed outward from the flange 42b.

[0037] <Upper surface unit 32> As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the upper surface unit 32 constitutes the outer shape of the top plate 11 in a plan view. The upper surface unit 32 includes an upper surface member (base panel) 61 and a corner member (side surface constituting member) 62. The upper surface member 61 is integrally formed in a box shape that opens downward by performing press working on a plate material such as a metal material. The upper surface member 61 includes an upper plate portion (main wall portion, holding portion) 65 and an upper plate side wall portion (side wall portion) 66.

[0038] The upper plate portion 65 is formed in a rectangular shape that is the same shape as the outer shape of the top plate 11 in a plan view. Specifically, the outer peripheral edge of the upper plate portion 65 includes a pair of upper plate long edge portions (first base edge portions) 65a, a pair of upper plate short edge portions (second base edge portions) 65b, and a connection edge portion 65c. Each upper plate long edge portion 65a extends linearly in the left-right direction (first direction) in a state facing each other in the front-rear direction. Each upper plate short edge portion 65b extends linearly in the front-rear direction (second direction) in a state facing each other in the left-right direction.

[0039] The connection edge portion 65c constitutes the corner portion of the upper plate portion 65. That is, the connection edge portion 65c connects, for example, the upper plate long edge portion 65a located on one side in the front-rear direction among each upper plate long edge portion 65a and the upper plate short edge portion 65b located on one side in the left-right direction among each upper plate short edge portion 65b. The connection edge portion 65c is formed in an arc shape convex in a direction away from the center O of the top plate 11 in plan view. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the connection edge portion 65c has a tangential component extending in the intersection direction (third direction) intersecting the left-right direction and the front-rear direction in plan view. Specifically, the tangential component of the connection edge portion 65c gradually changes from the left-right direction to the front-rear direction as it goes from one side in the front-rear direction to one side in the left-right direction on the connection edge portion 65c (extension direction). Note that the radius of curvature of the connection edge portion 65c may be uniform over the entire length, or may change as it goes toward the upper plate long edge portion 65a and the upper plate short edge portion 65b.

[0040] The upper plate side wall portion 66 is disposed so as to surround, in plan view, portions of the upper plate portion 65 other than the connection edge portion 65c by being bent downward from each of the upper plate long edge portion 65a and the upper plate short edge portion 65b. The upper plate side wall portion 66 includes a pair of upper long edge wall portions (first base wall portion, holding portion) 71 and a pair of upper short edge wall portions (second base wall portion, holding portion) 72.

[0041] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the corner member 62 as viewed from below. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, each upper long edge wall portion 71 is continuous with each upper plate long edge portion 65a. Each upper long edge wall portion 71 is formed symmetrically in the front-rear direction. Therefore, in the following description, one upper long edge wall portion 71 will be taken as an example to describe the details of the upper long edge wall portion 71. The upper long edge wall portion 71 is formed in an L shape in cross section. The upper long edge wall portion 71 includes an upper long edge hanging piece 71a, an upper long edge folding piece 71b, and an upper long edge regulating piece (first engaging portion) 71c.

[0042] The upper long-edge hanging piece 71a extends downward from the upper plate long-edge portion 65a in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper plate portion 65. The upper long-edge hanging piece 71a extends continuously in the left-right direction at a position avoiding both end portions in the left-right direction of the upper plate long-edge portion 65a. As shown in FIG. 5, in the upper half of the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a, first accommodating portions (holding portions) 75 are formed at both end portions in the left-right direction. The first accommodating portion 75 penetrates the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a in the front-rear direction and is open outward and upward in the left-right direction. The front view shape of the first accommodating portion 75 is formed in a trapezoidal shape in which the dimension in the up-down direction gradually increases as it goes outward in the left-right direction. Therefore, both end faces in the left-right direction of the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a and the inner surface of the first accommodating portion 75 are formed to be bent in a crank shape in the front view.

[0043] The upper long-edge folding piece 71b extends inward in the front-rear direction from the lower end edge of the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a. The upper long-edge folding piece 71b is formed at a position avoiding at least both left and right end portions of the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a. Both end faces in the left-right direction of the upper long-edge folding piece 71b extend while being inclined inward in the left-right direction toward the inner side in the front-rear direction. The upper long-edge regulating piece 71c extends upward from the inner edge in the front-rear direction of the upper long-edge folding piece 71b in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper long-edge folding piece 71b.

[0044] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the upper short-edge wall portion 72 is continuous with each upper plate short-edge portion 65b. Each upper short-edge wall portion 72 is formed symmetrically left and right. Therefore, in the following description, one upper short-edge wall portion 72 will be taken as an example to describe the details of the upper short-edge wall portion 72. The upper short-edge wall portion 72 is formed in an L shape in a cross-sectional view. The upper short-edge wall portion 72 includes an upper short-edge hanging piece 72a, an upper short-edge folding piece 72b, and an upper short-edge regulating piece (second engaging portion) 72c.

[0045] FIG. 6 is a side view of the top plate body 30. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a extends downward from the upper plate short-edge portion 65b in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper plate portion 65. The upper short-edge hanging piece 72a extends continuously in the front-rear direction at a position avoiding both ends in the front-rear direction of the upper plate short-edge portion 65b. Second accommodating portions (holding portions) 76 are formed at both ends in the front-rear direction of the upper half of the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a. The second accommodating portion 76 penetrates the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a in the left-right direction and is open toward the outside and upward in the front-rear direction. The shape of the second accommodating portion 76 in a side view is formed in a trapezoidal shape in which the dimension in the vertical direction gradually increases as it goes toward the outside in the front-rear direction, similar to the first accommodating portion 75.

[0046] The upper short-edge folding piece 72b extends inward in the left-right direction from the lower end edge of the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a. The upper short-edge folding piece 72b is formed at a position avoiding at least both ends in the front-rear direction of the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a. Both end faces in the front-rear direction of the upper short-edge folding piece 72b extend while being inclined inward in the front-rear direction toward the inside in the left-right direction. The upper short-edge regulating piece 72c extends upward from the inner edge in the left-right direction of the upper short-edge folding piece 72b in a state of intersecting (for example, being orthogonal to) the upper short-edge folding piece 72b.

[0047] In this way, the upper plate side wall portion 66 is configured such that only the straight portions (the upper plate long-edge portion 65a and the upper plate short-edge portion 65b) of the outer peripheral edge of the upper plate portion 65 are continuous, and the portion including the curved portion (the connection edge portion 65c) is cut off. Specifically, the upper plate side wall portion 66 is a portion corresponding to the region (hereinafter referred to as the corner region C) reaching the entire connection edge portion 65c and a predetermined range of the upper plate long-edge portion 65a and the upper plate short-edge portion 65b that is continuous with the connection edge portion 65c among the outer peripheral edge of the upper plate portion 65, and the corresponding portion is continuously cut off.

[0048] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the corner members 62 are respectively provided at portions of the upper surface member 61 corresponding to the respective corner regions C, and together with the upper plate side wall portions 66, constitute a part of the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32. Note that all the corner members 62 have the same configuration. Therefore, in the following description, one corner member 62 will be taken as an example to describe the details of the corner member 62.

[0049] The corner member 62 is integrally formed, for example, by injection molding a resin material or the like. The corner member 62 is formed in a block shape that is open in three directions: inward in the front-rear direction and left-right direction, and downward. Specifically, the corner member 62 includes a base wall portion (opposing wall portion) 81, a corner wall portion (covering member support portion) 82, left and right overhanging portions 83, a first positioning portion 84, front and rear overhanging portions 85, and a second positioning portion 86.

[0050] The base wall portion 81 is formed in a rectangular plate shape in plan view. The base wall portion 81 has a base edge portion 81a formed in the same shape as the corner region C (the entire connection edge portion 65c and a partial range of the upper plate long edge portion 65a and the upper plate short edge portion 65b that is continuous with the connection edge portion 65c) at a part of the outer peripheral edge. The base wall portion 81 is fixed to the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65 by adhesion or the like in a state where the base edge portion 81a overlaps the corner region C in plan view.

[0051] The base edge portion 81a includes left and right straight portions 81a1, front and rear straight portions 81a2, and an arc portion 81a3. The left and right straight portions 81a1 extend linearly in the left-right direction along the portion of the corner region C formed by the upper plate long edge portion 65a. The front and rear straight portions 81a2 extend linearly in the front-rear direction along the portion of the corner region C formed by the upper plate short edge portion 65b. The arc portion 81a3 is formed in an arc shape along the portion of the corner region C formed by the connection edge portion 65c. The arc portion 81a3 connects between the left and right straight portions 81a1 and the front and rear straight portions 81a2.

[0052] The corner wall portion 82 is formed in an L shape in plan view by protruding downward from the base wall portion 81 following the base edge portion 81a. The corner wall portion 82 is respectively fitted into portions located between the upper long edge wall portion 71 and the upper short edge wall portion 72 in the corner region C. In this case, the outer peripheral surface of the corner wall portion 82, together with the outer peripheral surface of the upper plate side wall portion 66, constitutes a part of the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32. The corner wall portion 82 includes a left - right extending portion (first clamping wall) 91, a front - rear extending portion (second clamping wall) 92, and a connecting extending portion (first clamping wall, second clamping wall) 93.

[0053] The left - right extending portion 91 protrudes downward from the left - right straight portion 81a1. The left - right extending portion 91 extends linearly in the left - right direction over the entire length of the left - right straight portion 81a1. The inner end portion of the left - right extending portion 91 in the left - right direction is close to or in contact with the upper long edge wall portion 71. Specifically, the left - right extending portion 91 includes an outer peripheral facing portion 91a located on the outer peripheral side, and an inner peripheral facing portion 91b that is continuous with the outer peripheral facing portion 91a on the inner side in the front - rear direction.

[0054] The outer peripheral facing portion 91a is a portion of the left - right extending portion 91 that faces the upper long edge hanging piece 71a in the left - right direction. The outer peripheral facing portion 91a is formed in a crank shape in front view. The upper half portion of the outer peripheral facing portion 91a is formed as a first protruding portion 91a1 that protrudes inward in the left - right direction with respect to the lower half portion. The first protruding portion 91a1 is formed in a shape equivalent to that of the first accommodating portion 75 in front view. The corner member 62 is assembled to the upper surface member 61 in a state where the lower half portion of the outer peripheral facing portion 91a is close to or in contact with the upper long edge hanging piece 71a, and the upper half portion (first protruding portion 91a1) is accommodated in the first accommodating portion 75. That is, the accommodation of the first protruding portion 91a1 in the first accommodating portion 75 restricts the downward movement of the corner member 62 with respect to the upper surface member 61. The inner end surface of the inner peripheral facing portion 91b in the left - right direction inclines inward in the left - right direction as it goes inward in the front - rear direction. The inner peripheral facing portion 91b is close to or in contact with the upper long edge folded - back piece 71b in the left - right direction.

[0055] The front-back extending portion 92 protrudes downward from the front-back straight portion 81a2. The front-back extending portion 92 extends linearly in the front-back direction over the entire length of the front-back straight portion 81a2. The inner end portion of the front-back extending portion 92 in the front-back direction is close to or in contact with the upper short-edge wall portion 72. Specifically, the front-back extending portion 92 includes an outer peripheral facing portion 92a located on the outer peripheral side, and an inner peripheral facing portion 92b that is continuous with the outer peripheral facing portion 92a on the inner side in the left-right direction.

[0056] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the outer peripheral facing portion 92a is a portion of the front-back extending portion 92 that faces the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a in the front-back direction. The outer peripheral facing portion 92a is formed in a crank shape in a side view. The upper half portion of the outer peripheral facing portion 92a is formed as a second protruding portion 92a1 that protrudes inward in the left-right direction with respect to the lower half portion. The second protruding portion 92a1 is formed in a shape equivalent to that of the second accommodating portion 76 in a front view. The corner member 62 is assembled to the upper surface member 61 in a state where the lower half portion of the outer peripheral facing portion 92a is close to or in contact with the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a, and the upper half portion (the second protruding portion 92a1) is accommodated in the second accommodating portion 76. That is, by accommodating the second protruding portion 92a1 in the second accommodating portion 76, the downward movement of the corner member 62 with respect to the upper surface member 61 is restricted. The inner end surface of the inner peripheral facing portion 92b in the front-back direction is inclined inward in the front-back direction as it goes inward in the left-right direction. The inner peripheral facing portion 92b is close to or in contact with the upper short-edge folded piece 72b in the front-back direction.

[0057] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the connecting extending portion 93 connects the left-right extending portion 91 and the front-back extending portion 92. The connecting extending portion 93 protrudes downward from the arc portion 81a3 and extends in an arc shape in a plan view over the entire length of the arc portion 81a. The lower surface and the outer peripheral surface of the connecting extending portion 93 are arranged flush with the lower surface and the outer peripheral surface of the left-right extending portion 91 and the front-back extending portion 92, respectively. By the inner peripheral facing portions 91b and 92b coming into contact with the corresponding folded pieces 71b and 72b, the movement of the corner member 62 away from the center O of the top plate 11 with respect to the upper surface member 61 in a plan view is restricted.

[0058] The left and right protruding portions 83 are connected in the left - right direction to the left - right extending portion 91. Specifically, the left and right protruding portions 83 protrude inward in the front - rear direction with respect to the outer - periphery facing portion 91a and inward in the left - right direction with respect to the inner - periphery facing portion 91b and the outer - periphery facing portion 91a. The dimension of the left and right protruding portions 83 in the up - down direction is smaller than the dimension of the corner wall portion 82 in the up - down direction. Specifically, the dimension of the left and right protruding portions 83 in the up - down direction is smaller than the separation distance between the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65 and the upper - end edge of the upper - side long - edge regulating piece 71c. The left and right protruding portions 83 extend in the left - right direction so as to abut on the surface facing the inner side in the front - rear direction of the upper - side long - edge hanging piece 71a in a state where the corner member 62 is assembled to the upper - surface member 61.

[0059] The first positioning portion 84 positions the upper - surface member 61 and the corner member 62 in the front - rear direction. Specifically, the first positioning portion 84 includes a first pedestal wall 95, a first engaging claw (first engaged portion) 96, and a first stopper piece 97. The first pedestal wall 95 protrudes inward in the left - right direction from the left and right protruding portions 83. The first pedestal wall 95 is formed in a thinner plate shape than the left and right protruding portions 83. The first pedestal wall 95 is arranged flush with the upper surface and the outer peripheral surface of the left and right protruding portions 83.

[0060] Figure 7 is a cross - sectional view corresponding to the VII - VII line in Figure 4. As shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 7, the first engaging claw 96 extends in a cantilevered manner inward in the front - rear direction from the lower - end portion of the first pedestal wall 95. The first engaging claw 96 is formed in a triangular shape that tapers downward in a side view. The first engaging claw 96 is configured to be elastically deformable in the up - down direction starting from the base end portion (the outer - end portion in the front - rear direction). The first engaging claw 96 is engaged with the upper - side long - edge regulating piece 71c from the outer side in the front - rear direction. The first stopper piece 97 extends inward in the front - rear direction from the tip portion of the first engaging claw 96. The first stopper piece 97 is close to or in contact with the upper - end edge of the upper - side long - edge regulating piece 71c from above.

[0061] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the second positioning portion 85 positions the upper surface member 61 and the corner member 62 in the left-right direction. Specifically, the second positioning portion 85 includes a second pedestal wall 100, a second engaging claw (second engaged portion) 101, and a second stopper piece 102. The second pedestal wall 100 protrudes inward in the left-right direction from the front-rear overhanging portion 85. The second pedestal wall 100 is formed in a thinner plate shape than the front-rear overhanging portion 85. The second pedestal wall 100 is arranged flush with the upper surface and the outer peripheral surface of the front-rear overhanging portion 85.

[0062] The second engaging claw 101 extends in a cantilevered manner inward in the front-rear direction from the lower end portion of the second pedestal wall 100. The second engaging claw 101 is formed in a triangular shape that tapers downward in a front view. The second engaging claw 101 is configured to be elastically deformable in the vertical direction with the base end portion (outer end portion in the left-right direction) as the starting point. The second engaging claw 101 is engaged with the upper short-edge regulating piece 72c from the outside in the front-rear direction. The second stopper piece 102 extends inward in the left-right direction from the tip portion of the second engaging claw 101. The second stopper piece 102 is close to or in contact with the upper end edge of the upper short-edge regulating piece 72c from above.

[0063] As shown in FIG. 3, the top plate body 30 has a closed cross-sectional structure in a cross-sectional view by overlapping the upper surface unit 32 and the lower surface unit 31 with the lower surface unit 31 fitted into the inside of the upper surface unit 32 (the space surrounded by the upper plate side wall portion 66 and the corner member 62) from below. In this case, among the lower surface unit 31, the lower plate side wall portion 46 and the lip 42 are fixed to the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65 by adhesion or the like, respectively.

[0064] FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view corresponding to the line VIII-VIII in FIG. 4. As shown in FIGS. 4, 7, and 8, the corner member 62 is sandwiched between the upper surface member 61 and the lower unit 31. Specifically, the base wall portion 81 is sandwiched between the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65 and the upper end edge of the lower plate side wall portion 46. That is, the lower unit 31 (lower surface member 41) holds the corner member 62 against the upper surface member 61 via the base wall portion 81. Note that, among the lower plate side wall portions 46, the portion fixed to the base wall portion 81 may be recessed downward with respect to the portion directly fixed to the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65.

[0065] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 7, the corner wall portion 82 and the respective overhanging portions 83, 85 are supported by the lower plate side wall portion 46 from the inside of the upper unit 32. Specifically, among the corner wall portion 82, the front-rear extending portion 92 and the connecting extending portion 93 are supported by the lower side long edge wall portion 51 (lower side long edge standing piece 51a) from the inside of the upper unit 32. Then, the left-right overhanging portions 83 are sandwiched between the upper side short edge hanging piece 72a and the lower side short edge standing piece 52a in the front-rear direction. Among the corner wall portion 82, the left-right extending portion 91 and the connecting extending portion 93 are supported by the lower side short edge wall portion 52 (lower side short edge standing piece 52a) from the inside of the upper unit 32. Then, the front-rear overhanging portions 85 are sandwiched between the upper side short edge hanging piece 72a and the lower side short edge standing piece 52a in the left-right direction. The lower unit 31 (lower surface member 41) holds the corner member 62 against the upper surface member 61 via the corner wall portion 82 and the overhanging portions 83, 85.

[0066] As shown in FIG. 3, the decorative panel 33 is formed in a sheet shape, for example, by a melamine resin or the like. The decorative panel 33 covers the entire upper surface of the upper plate portion 65. The upper surface of the decorative panel 33 constitutes the working surface of the top plate 11. The decorative panel 33 is fixed to the upper surface of the upper plate portion 65 by adhesion or the like. Note that the decorative panel 33 is not limited to a melamine resin, and any material having a different texture from that of the upper plate portion 65 may be used. Further, the decorative panel 33 may cover the outer peripheral surface of the upper unit 32. The decorative panel 33 may cover, for example, the lower surface of the lower plate portion 45.

[0067] The edge member 34 is formed of an elastically deformable material such as a resin material. The edge member 34 is provided over the entire outer circumference of the upper surface unit 32 and the entire outer periphery of the decorative panel 33 so as to surround the periphery of the top plate body 30 and the decorative panel 33. The edge member 34 is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32 and the outer peripheral edge of the decorative panel 33 by adhesion or the like. Both the upper and lower end portions of the edge member 34 are rounded.

[0068] The edge member 34 of the present embodiment integrally surrounds the entire circumference of the top plate body 30 and the decorative panel 33 with a single strip-shaped member. Therefore, among the upper surface members 61, the bent portion (R portion formed during press working) between the upper plate portion 65 and the upper plate side wall portion 66 is covered from above by the decorative panel 33 and covered from the side by the edge member 34. Also, the portion surrounded by the bent portion between the upper plate portion 65 and the upper plate side wall portion 66, the decorative panel 33, and the edge member 34 can also be used as an adhesive reservoir during the adhesion of the decorative panel 33 and the edge member 34. However, the edge member 34 may be divided into, for example, a portion corresponding to the upper plate side wall portion 66 and a portion corresponding to the corner member 62.

[0069] <Operation unit 12> As shown in FIG. 1, the operation unit 12 is a switch operated by the user to raise and lower the top plate 11. The operation unit 12 is fixed to a portion of the lower surface of the top plate 11 (lower plate portion 45) that is located closer to the front end. In the illustrated example, the operation unit 12 is disposed at one end in the left-right direction below the top plate 11. However, the operation unit 12 can be disposed at any position below the top plate 11. Also, the operation unit 12 may be disposed above the top plate 11 or may be a touch sensor or the like built into the top plate 11.

[0070] (Manufacturing method of the top plate 11) Next, the manufacturing method of the top plate 11 described above will be explained. The top plate 11 of the present embodiment is manufactured through a lower surface unit creation process, an upper surface unit creation process, an assembly process, a decorative panel attachment process, and an edge material attachment process. Note that the lower surface unit creation process and the upper surface unit creation process can be carried out in any order or in parallel.

[0071] As shown in FIG. 2, in the lower surface unit creation process, first, a lower surface member 41 is created. Specifically, by performing press working on a plate material made of a metal material or the like, a lower surface member 41 including a lower plate portion 45 and a lower plate side wall portion 46 is created. Subsequently, a reinforcing beam 42 is fixed to the lower plate portion 45. Specifically, the web 42a of the reinforcing beam 42 is fixed to the lower plate portion 45 by adhesion or the like. Thereafter, a nut 48 is fixed to the upper surface of the lower plate portion 45.

[0072] Next, in the upper surface unit creation process, first, an upper surface member 61 is created. Specifically, by performing press working on a plate material made of a metal material or the like, an upper surface member 61 including an upper plate portion 65 and an upper plate side wall portion 66 is created. At this time, in the upper surface member 61, the upper plate side wall portion 66 constitutes a portion other than the portion corresponding to the corner region C among the side wall portions of the upper surface unit 32. Therefore, it is suppressed that the straight portions of the upper side long edge wall portion 71 and the upper side short edge wall portion 72 among the upper plate side wall portion 66 overlap each other during press working.

[0073] Subsequently, in the upper surface unit creation process, the corner member 62 is assembled to the upper surface member 61. Specifically, first, an adhesive is applied to the contact portion (e.g., the base wall portion 81, etc.) of the corner member 62 that contacts the upper surface member 61. Subsequently, with the base wall portion 81 and the upper plate portion 65 facing each other, the corner wall portion 82 is fitted from the inside of the upper surface member 61 (the space surrounded by the upper plate portion 65 and the upper plate side wall portion 66) toward the portion located between the upper long edge wall portion 71 and the upper short edge wall portion 72. Then, the first protruding portion 91a1 is accommodated in the first accommodating portion 75, and the second protruding portion 92a1 is accommodated in the second accommodating portion 76. Also, the first engaging claw 96 is engaged with the upper long edge regulating piece 71c from the outside in the front-rear direction, and the second engaging claw 101 is engaged with the upper short edge regulating piece 72c from the outside in the left-right direction. Thereby, the corner member 62 is positioned on the upper surface member 61.

[0074] In the assembling process, with the lower surface unit 31 fitted inside the upper surface unit 32 (the space surrounded by the upper plate side wall portion 66 and the corner member 62), the upper surface unit 32 and the lower surface unit 31 are fixed to each other by adhesion or the like. Thereby, with the corner member 62 held between the lower surface member 41 and the upper surface member 61, the top plate main body 30 is completed.

[0075] In the decorative panel attaching process, the decorative panel 33 is attached to the upper surface of the upper plate portion 65 so as to cover the entire upper surface of the upper plate portion 65. Thereafter, the surplus portion of the decorative panel 33 that protrudes from the upper surface of the upper plate portion 65 is cut. Thereby, including the bent portion between the upper plate portion 65 and the upper plate side wall portion 66, the entire upper plate portion 65 is covered from above by the decorative panel 33.

[0076] In the edge material attaching process, the edge material 34 is attached over the entire outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32 and the entire outer peripheral edge of the decorative panel 33. Thereby, including the bent portion between the upper plate portion 65 and the upper plate side wall portion 66, the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32 and the outer peripheral edge of the decorative panel 33 are covered from the side by the edge material 34. Thus, the top plate 11 is completed.

[0077] Thus, in the top plate 11 of the present embodiment, the upper surface member 61 includes an upper long edge wall portion 71 extending in the left - right direction and an upper short edge wall portion 72 extending in the front - rear direction, and the corner member 62 is configured to extend along the connection edge portion 65c of the upper plate portion 65 and include a corner wall portion 82 connecting between the upper long edge wall portion 71 and the upper short edge wall portion 72. According to this configuration, among the upper plate portion 65, the side wall portion of the portion corresponding to the connection edge portion 65c having a component extending in a direction different from the left - right direction and the front - rear direction is formed by the corner member 62 separate from the upper surface member 61. Thereby, compared with the case where the entire circumferential side wall portion of the upper surface unit 32 is integrally formed with the upper surface member 61 by press - working or the like, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of wrinkles or the like in the portion of the side wall portion of the upper surface unit 32 corresponding to the connection edge portion 65c. That is, by forming the portion of the side wall portion of the upper surface unit 32 corresponding to the cross - extending portion with the corner member 62 separate from the portion corresponding to the straight - line portion, it is possible to easily manufacture the top plate 11 having various shapes having a cross - extending portion in the planar view shape of the outer peripheral edge. As a result, when the edge material 34 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32, floating of the edge material 34 or the like can be suppressed. Moreover, in the present embodiment, since the corner member 62 is integrally formed by injection - molding a resin material or the like, it is easier to form various shapes such as curved surfaces compared with the case where the corner member 62 is formed of sheet metal or the like.

[0078] Moreover, in the present embodiment, since the corner member 62 is integrally formed by injection - molding a resin material or the like, it is easier to form various shapes such as curved surfaces compared with the case where the corner member 62 is formed of sheet metal or the like.

[0079] The top plate 11 of the present embodiment includes an upper long-edge regulating piece 71c and an upper short-edge regulating piece 72c formed on the upper surface member 61, a first engaging claw 96 formed on the corner member 62 and engaging with the upper long-edge regulating piece 71c, and a second engaging claw 101 formed on the corner member 62 and engaging with the upper short-edge regulating piece 72c. According to this configuration, the corner member 62 is firmly held by the upper surface member 61. This suppresses the displacement of the corner member 62 with respect to the upper surface member 61, making it easier to attach the edge material 34 to the side surface of the top plate body 30, and thus a top plate 11 with excellent appearance can be provided over a long period.

[0080] In the top plate 11 of the present embodiment, the lower surface member 41 includes a lower short-edge standing piece 52a that sandwiches a left-right extending portion 91 and a connecting extending portion 93 between itself and the upper short-edge hanging piece 72a, and a lower long-edge standing piece 51a that sandwiches a front-back extending portion 92 and a connecting extending portion 93 between itself and the upper long-edge hanging piece 71a. According to this configuration, the corner wall portion 82 of the corner member 62 is sandwiched between the side wall portions 71, 72 of the upper surface member 61 and the side wall portions 51, 52 of the lower surface member 41, so that the corner member 62 is firmly held by the upper surface member 61 and the lower surface member 41. This suppresses the displacement of the corner member 62 in the top plate body 30, making it easier to attach the edge material 34 to the side surface of the top plate body 30, and thus a top plate 11 with excellent appearance can be provided over a long period.

[0081] In the top plate 11 of the present embodiment, the corner wall portion 82 constitutes the corner portion of the top plate body 30. According to this configuration, the appearance at the corner portion of the top plate body 30 can be improved.

[0082] In the top plate 11 of the present embodiment, the edge material 34 is configured to integrally cover the outer peripheral surfaces of the side wall portions 71, 72 of the upper surface member 61 and the corner wall portion 82 of the corner member 62. According to this configuration, the number of ends of the edge material 34 can be reduced compared to the case where the outer peripheral surface of the upper surface unit 32 is covered with edge materials divided into a plurality of parts. Thereby, the appearance of the outer peripheral surface of the top plate 11 can be improved.

[0083] In the top plate 11 of the present embodiment, the corner member 62 is configured to include a base wall portion 81 that is continuous with the corner wall portion 82 and is fixed to the lower surface of the upper plate portion 65. According to this configuration, the corner wall portion 82 can be reinforced by the base wall portion 81. In addition, since it becomes easier to secure the contact area between the upper plate portion 65 and the corner member 62 by the base wall portion 81, the corner member 62 is firmly held (fixed) to the upper plate portion 65. Moreover, by sandwiching the base wall portion 81 between the upper plate portion 65 and the lower surface member 41, the corner member 62 is firmly held by the upper surface member 61. As a result, displacement of the corner member 62 in the top plate main body 30 is suppressed, and it becomes easier to attach the edge material 34 to the side surface of the top plate main body 30, so that a top plate 11 with excellent appearance can be provided over a long period.

[0084] Since the top plate fitting 1 of the present embodiment includes the above-described top plate 11, it is possible to easily manufacture the top plate fitting 1 including the top plate 11 having various planar shapes.

[0085] (Other Modification Examples) As described above, the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described, but the present invention is not limited to these embodiments. Additions, omissions, substitutions, and other changes of the configuration are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention. The present invention is not limited by the above description, but is limited only by the appended claims. In the above-described embodiment, the case where the panel structure according to the present invention is adopted for the top plate has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. As the panel structure, in addition to the top plate, a shelf board, a partition board such as a partition, a display device such as a whiteboard, etc. can be appropriately adopted. In the above-described embodiment, the case where the fitting 1 is a top plate elevating type fitting has been described as an example, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The fitting according to the present invention can be adopted for various fittings having a top plate, such as a shelf and a cart device.

[0086] In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the top plate 11 includes the upper surface unit 32 and the lower surface unit 31 has been described, but the configuration is not limited to this. The top plate 11 may have a configuration including only the upper surface unit 32. In the above-described embodiment, as the corner region C where the corner member 62 is disposed, in addition to the entire connection edge portion 65c, a predetermined range continuous with the connection edge portion 65c among the upper plate long edge portion 65a and the upper plate short edge portion 65b is set, but the configuration is not limited to this. The corner region C may be only the connection edge portion 65c. In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the connection edge portion 65c is formed in an arc shape convex in a direction away from the center O of the top plate 11 (convex surface shape in plan view) has been described, but the configuration is not limited to this. The connection edge portion 65c may be formed in an arc shape convex in a direction approaching the center O of the top plate 11 (concave surface shape in plan view). Further, the connection edge portion 65c may be a combination of a plurality of curves, or a combination of a curve and a straight line. That is, the connection edge portion 65c can adopt various shapes as long as it connects between the portions corresponding to the first base edge portion and the second base edge portion.

[0087] In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the upper plate long edge portion 65a constituting the first base edge portion and the upper plate short edge portion 65b constituting the second base edge portion extend in a direction intersecting with each other has been described, but the configuration is not limited to this. The direction in which the first base edge portion extends (the first direction) and the direction in which the second base edge portion extends (the second direction) may be the same direction. For example, like the base panel 210 of the panel structure 200 shown in FIG. 9, the first base edge portion 201 and the second base edge portion 202 may be parallel to each other. In this case, in the panel structure 200, the portion connecting between the first base edge portion 201 and the second base edge portion 202 becomes a connection edge portion 203 formed in an arc shape. Also, like the base panel 210 of the panel structure 200 shown in FIG. 10, the first base edge 201 and the second base edge 202 may be located in a straight line. In this case, in the panel structure 200, the portion connecting the first base edge 201 and the second base edge 202 becomes a connecting edge 203 formed in an arc shape. In the panel structure 200 shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, among the base panel 210, the side surface constituting member 211 is disposed at least in a portion corresponding to the connecting edge 203.

[0088] In the above-described embodiment, the case where the connecting edge 65c is formed in an arc shape so that the entire outer peripheral edge of the upper plate portion 65 forms a smooth continuous surface (a shape having no apex in plan view between the connecting edge 65c and the upper plate long edge portion 65a, and between the connecting edge 65c and the upper plate short edge portion 65b) has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. For example, like the base panel 210 of the panel structure 200 shown in FIG. 11, the first base edge 201 and the second base edge 202 extend in a direction intersecting each other, and the connecting edge 203 extends linearly in a direction (third direction) intersecting both the first base edge 201 and the second base edge 202. Even in this case, among the base panel 210, the side surface constituting member 211 is disposed at least in a portion corresponding to the connecting edge 203.

[0089] In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the corner member 62 is integrally formed of a resin material has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The corner member may be formed of a metal material or may be divided into a plurality of parts. In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which both the upper surface member 61 and the lower surface member 41 are formed by press working has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. For example, the lower surface member 41 may be formed in a plate shape from wood or the like. In the above-described embodiment, various configurations such as the engaging claws 96 and 101 and the base wall portion 81 have been described as the holding portion, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. As long as the corner member 62 is held by the upper surface member 61, appropriate means can be selected including the upper surface member 61 and the lower surface member 41 for the holding portion.

[0090] In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the outer peripheral surface of the corner wall portion 82 is a smooth surface has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. For example, grooves, recesses, or the like may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the corner wall portion 82. In this case, when the edge member 34 is attached to the corner wall portion 82, it is also possible to utilize the grooves and recesses as adhesive reservoirs.

[0091] In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the outer peripheral surface of the top plate 11 is orthogonal to the upper surface has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The outer peripheral surface of the top plate 11 may extend in a direction intersecting the upper surface, for example, inclined in a direction approaching the center O of the top plate 11 as it goes downward. In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the corner member 62 is bridged between the adjacent upper long edge wall portion 71 and upper short edge wall portion 72 sandwiching the corner region C has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The corner member 62 may be at least disposed between the adjacent upper long edge wall portion 71 and upper short edge wall portion 72 sandwiching the corner region C. That is, the corner portion 62 may be disposed with a gap between the adjacent upper long edge wall portion 71 and upper short edge wall portion 72 sandwiching the corner region C. In the above-described embodiment, as an example of the covering member support portion, the configuration in which the corner wall portion 82 extends over the entire corner region C (the entire thickness direction and the entire extending direction of the corner region C) has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. For example, a plurality of columnar or plate-like members may be arranged at intervals in the extending direction of the corner region C to constitute the covering member support portion. Further, a covering member support portion extending in the extending direction of the corner region C may be constituted in a part of the thickness direction in the corner region C.

[0092] In addition, within the scope not departing from the gist of the present invention, it is possible to appropriately replace the constituent elements in the above-described embodiment with well-known constituent elements, and the above-described various modification examples may also be appropriately combined.
