Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a press-fitting jig for a lock plate used for mounting a lock plate for fixing a tubular body such as a brake hose to a bracket in a vehicle, for example.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, there is a press-fitting jig for a lock plate described in Patent Document 1. Patent Document 1 describes a jig that stores a plurality of circlips laminated inside and uses a press-fitting member interlocked with a piston rod of a pneumatic tool to eject the uppermost circlip and press-fit the circlip between a bracket and a brake hose. Note that a circlip is a fastening component equivalent to a lock plate.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] However, since the above-described conventional press-fitting jig for a lock plate has a structure in which the lock plate is press-fitted only by the forward movement of the press-fitting member, there is a possibility that the positioning accuracy of the lock plate after press-fitting may vary.

[0005] The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional situation, and an object thereof is to provide a press-fitting jig for a lock plate that can improve the positioning accuracy of the lock plate after press-fitting.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0006] The press-fitting jig for the lock plate according to the present invention is a jig for press-fitting a lock plate for fixing a tubular body passed through a bracket toward the tubular body. The press-fitting jig is characterized by including a concave portion that abuts against an end portion of the bracket and a tapered portion that presses an end portion of the lock plate.

Effect of the Invention

[0007] The press-fitting jig for the lock plate according to the present invention abuts a concave portion against an end portion of the bracket, presses the lock plate with the tapered portion, and press-fits the lock plate between the tubular body and the bracket, thereby absorbing variations in the dimensions of the lock plate and the bracket and press-fitting the lock plate at the correct position, and improving the positioning accuracy of the lock plate after press-fitting.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0009] <First Embodiment> The press-fitting jig 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 press-fits a lock plate 4 into a tubular body 3 passed through a bracket 2. The tubular body 3 is not particularly limited, but as an example, it is a brake hose in a vehicle and is fixed to the vehicle body by a bracket 3. The arrangement relationship of each component will be described in the up-down, left-right directions in the figure for convenience, but the actual postures of the bracket 2 and the tubular body 3 are not limited to the illustration.

[0010] The bracket 2 in the illustrated figure has a cross-sectional L shape with two rectangular pieces 2A and 2B that are orthogonal to each other. A tubular body 3 passes through the center of one piece 2A, and the other piece 2B is arranged along the axial direction of the tubular body 3. The tubular body 3 has a small-diameter portion 3A on the upper surface side of one piece 2A, and this small-diameter portion 3A forms a groove for fitting the lock plate 4.

[0011] The lock plate 4 is formed by shaping a metal plate material. As shown in FIG. 2, it has a curved surface that protrudes upward, and includes a base portion 4A and a pair of spring pieces 4B, 4B that are continuous with one side (the right side in FIG. 1) of the base portion 4A and engage with both sides of the small-diameter portion 3A of the tubular body 3.

[0012] Between the two spring pieces 4B, 4B, it has a notch shape with a gradually increasing width in the tip direction. The width dimension W1 between the base ends corresponds to the diameter D1 of the small-diameter portion 3A of the tubular body 3, and the width dimension W2 between the tip ends corresponds to the diameter D2 of the tubular body 3. Also, at the base portion 4A, a curl portion 4C for preventing deformation during press-fitting is formed at the end on the opposite side of the spring piece 4B.

[0013] For the above-described tubular body 3 and lock plate 4, the press-fitting jig 1 can be used as a functional part of a tool or a press-fitting device, and includes a recess 1A that abuts against the end of one piece 2A of the bracket 2 and a tapered portion 1B that presses the curl portion 4C that is the end of the lock plate 4. The tapered portion 1B is formed in the recess 1A.

[0014] The recess 1A in the illustrated example has a trapezoidal notch shape with an open lower bottom side, and the upper hypotenuse is the tapered portion 1B. Also, the lower hypotenuse of the recess 1A is also tapered, and by having such an expanding width shape, it facilitates positioning with respect to the bracket 2 and the lock plate 4.

[0015] The press-fitting jig 1 having the above configuration, by manual operation or automatic operation of a feeding device or the like, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, after setting a pair of spring pieces 4B, 4B of the lock plate 4 on the tubular body 3, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, along with the forward movement, the tapered portion 1B presses the curled portion 4C which is the end portion of the lock plate 4.

[0016] Then, the press-fitting jig 1 advances until the upper bottom of the recess 1A abuts against the end portion of one piece 2A of the bracket 2, thereby fitting both spring pieces 4B, 4B of the lock plate 4 into the small-diameter portion 3A of the tubular body 3 and completing the press-fitting of the lock plate 4. At this time, since the lock plate 4 is pressed by the tapered portion 1B of the press-fitting jig 1, it is fitted to a position beyond the end portion of one piece 2A of the bracket 2, and the bracket 2 and the tubular body 3 are fixed to each other.

[0017] In this way, the above press-fitting jig 1 abuts the recess 1A against the end portion of the bracket 2, presses the lock plate 4 with the tapered portion 1B, press-fits the lock plate 4 between the tubular body 3 and the bracket 2, absorbs the dimensional variations of the lock plate 4 and the bracket 2, and press-fits the lock plate 4 at the correct position, thereby improving the positioning accuracy of the lock plate 4 after press-fitting.

[0018] Also, since the above press-fitting jig 1 has the tapered portion 1B in the recess 1A, it has a simple structure, can make the driving amount of the lock plate 4 constant, can perform vertical positioning with respect to the bracket 2 and the lock plate 4, and realizes further improvement in the positioning accuracy of the lock plate 4 after press-fitting.

[0019] Furthermore, since the above press-fitting jig 1 presses the base portion 4A of the lock plate 4 with the tapered portion 1B, the driving can be performed accurately, which can contribute to further improvement in the positioning accuracy of the lock plate 4 after press-fitting.

[0020] The press-fitting jig for the lock plate according to the present invention is not limited to the configuration of the above embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention.
