Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a road repair plate for temporarily restoring a road surface damaged due to an accident or construction work, and a road repair method using the same.

Background Art

[0002] As a road repair plate for temporarily restoring a road surface damaged due to an accident or construction work, there is a flat block having a rectangular shape in plan view that is fitted or arranged in a rectangular construction section cut out so as to surround the damaged portion (Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2). The road repair plate (road temporary restoration block) disclosed in Patent Document 1 is a flat block having a rectangular shape in plan view, and has a convex strip or a concave groove in a fitting relationship provided on opposite side surfaces (Patent Document 1, Utility Model Registration Claim). Adjacent road repair plates arranged in a construction section (groove) are connected by fitting corresponding convex strips and concave grooves.

[0003] The road repair plate (temporary restoration block) disclosed in Patent Document 2 is a flat block having a rectangular shape in plan view, and has a hollow structure (Patent Document 2, Claim 3) in which a bottom surface (one-sided opening portion) filled with gravel or crushed stone buried in a construction section (groove) is open, and a reinforcing partition plate for connecting side surfaces is provided (Patent Document 2, Claim 4). When the road repair plate disclosed in Patent Document 2 is fitted into a construction section, it is filled with gravel or crushed stone and stably fixed in position. In addition, since the road repair plate disclosed in Patent Document 2 has a hollow structure, it has an advantage of being lightweight.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] The road surface repair plates disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 are not firmly fixed in position simply by being fitted into or arranged in the construction section. The road surface repair plate disclosed in Patent Document 1 is fitted into the construction section with as little gap as possible, and adjacent road surface repair plates are connected to fix the position. Further, the road surface repair plate disclosed in Patent Document 2 fills the gravel and crushed stones scattered in the construction section, and also connects adjacent road surface repair plates to fix the position. The road surface repair plates disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 are presumably designed with the assumption of temporarily restoring the road surface of a general road where ordinary vehicles pass, and considering easy removal after temporary restoration rather than strong position fixing.

[0006] Therefore, the road surface repair plates disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 cannot cope with the temporary restoration of road surfaces that require firm position fixing, such as the road surface of a highway where heavy vehicles pass or the runway where aircraft take off and land. This is because, even in the case of temporary restoration, the road surface repair plate is not allowed to shift in position due to the running of heavy vehicles or aircraft. Thus, a road surface repair plate for temporarily restoring a road surface when the road surface of a highway where heavy vehicles pass or the runway where aircraft take off and land is damaged due to an accident or construction, and a road surface repair method using the same were studied.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] As a result of the study, what was developed is a road surface repair plate in a rectangular shape in plan view that is fitted into or arranged in a rectangular construction section in plan view that is cut out surrounding the damaged portion in order to temporarily restore the road surface damaged due to an accident or construction, and in which a gap adjuster with an adjustable protruding amount protrudes from the side surface. The road surface repair plate of the present invention is fitted into or arranged in the construction section with the gap adjuster having the adjusted protruding amount in contact with the inner wall surface of the construction section. The gap between the side surface of the road surface repair plate and the inner wall surface of the construction section may be filled with, for example, grout.

[0008] The road surface repair plate is a flat block in the shape of a rectangle in plan view that is smaller than the construction section. For the road surface repair plate sized to fit into one construction section, spacer adjusters protrude from all four side faces facing the inner wall faces on the four sides of the construction section. Also, for the road surface repair plates sized to be arranged in multiple numbers in the construction section, the side faces of adjacent road surface repair plates are brought into surface contact and arranged, and spacer adjusters protrude only from the side faces facing the inner wall faces of the construction section. It is preferable to have a plurality of spacer adjusters protruding from the same side face. The plurality of spacer adjusters are preferably protruded in a position relationship that is line-symmetrical in the longitudinal direction of the side face.

[0009] For the road surface repair plate of the present invention, it is preferable to have spacer adjusters with an adjustable protruding amount and detachable from the side face. The spacer adjuster has a bolt screwed into an insert embedded in the side face, and the bolt screwed into the insert can also be detachable. The road surface repair plate with spacer adjusters protruding from the side face may have a height adjuster with an adjustable protruding amount protruding from the lower face, or may be provided with an injection hole penetrating from the upper face to the lower face. The height adjuster adjusts the height and inclination of the road surface repair plate with respect to the plane of the construction section and fixes the position. The injection hole enables the injection of grout between the lower face of the road surface repair plate and the plane of the construction section.

[0010] The road surface repair method using the road surface repair plate of the present invention is a road surface repair method for temporarily restoring a road surface damaged due to an accident or construction work. In this method, a road surface repair plate in the shape of a rectangle in plan view is fitted or arranged in a rectangular construction section in plan view that is cut out surrounding the damaged part in order to temporarily restore the damaged road surface. The method involves placing a road surface repair plate with spacer adjusters having an adjustable protruding amount protruding from the side face in the construction section, bringing the tip of the spacer adjuster with the adjusted protruding amount into contact with the inner wall face of the construction section to fix the position of the road surface repair plate, and then filling the gap between the side face of the road surface repair plate and the inner wall face of the construction section with grout.

[0011] In the road surface repair method of the present invention, when fixing the road surface repair plate in the construction section, the protruding amount of the height adjuster protruding from the lower surface of the road surface repair plate is adjusted, and the lower end of the height adjuster is brought into contact with the plane of the construction section, so that the height and inclination of the road surface repair plate can be adjusted. Further, in the road surface repair method of the present invention, when filling the gap between the side surface of the road surface repair plate and the inner wall surface of the construction section with grout, the grout is injected from the injection hole penetrating from the upper surface to the lower surface of the road surface repair plate, so that the gap between the lower surface of the road surface repair plate and the plane of the construction section can be filled with grout.

Effect of the Invention

[0012] The road surface repair plate of the present invention is positioned and fixed in the construction section by fitting or arranging it in the construction section with the spacing adjuster having an adjustable protruding amount in contact with the inner wall surface of the construction section. Further, the road surface repair plate of the present invention can be more firmly fixed in position by filling the gap between the side surface of the road surface repair plate and the inner wall surface of the construction section with grout. Thus, the road surface repair plate of the present invention provides a temporarily restored road surface that is superior in position fixing compared to the prior art and can be used for the road surface of a highway where heavy vehicles pass or the road surface of a runway where an aircraft takes off and lands.

[0013] The spacing adjuster with an adjustable and detachable protruding amount enables the presence and arrangement of the spacing adjuster to be changed on site. The road surface repair plate with a height adjuster having an adjustable protruding amount protruding from the lower surface realizes the continuity between the surface of the road surface around the construction section and the upper surface of the road surface repair plate. The road surface repair plate provided with an injection hole penetrating from the upper surface to the lower surface is fixed to the plane of the construction section by injecting grout and is more firmly fixed in position. Thus, the road surface repair plate of the present invention provides a temporarily restored road surface that realizes the continuity between the road surface and the upper surface and a more firm position fixing.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0015] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The present invention is applied to a road surface repair plate 1 that is rectangular in plan view, as seen in FIGS. 1 to 4, for example. The road surface repair plate 1 of this example is a flat plate of a precast concrete block that is rectangular in plan view with the long side being twice the short side, and is provided with reinforcing bars (not shown) inside. The spacer 2 of this example is a long bolt that is detachably screwed into an insert 22 for the spacer embedded in the side surface 12, and adjusts the protruding position of the bolt head 21 by adding or subtracting the screwing amount with respect to the insert 22 for the spacer.

[0016] The road surface repair plate 1 of this example is provided with three spacers 2 on each of the long side surfaces 12 and two spacers 2 on each of the short side surfaces 12, such that the protruding amount is adjustable and detachable. The spacers 2 provided on the long side surfaces 12 are arranged in a line-symmetric positional relationship, with one in the middle in the longitudinal direction and one near each end at the middle height between the top and bottom of the side surface 12. The spacers 2 provided on the short side surfaces 12 are arranged in a line-symmetric positional relationship, with one near each end in the longitudinal direction at the middle height between the top and bottom of the side surface 12. The spacer 2 of this example, which is a bolt, can be removed from the insert 22 for the spacer to make the side surface 12 flat. Also, the spacer 2 of this example, which is a bolt, can be replaced with bolts of different lengths.

[0017] The road surface repair version 1 of this example is provided with a height adjuster 3 and a grout injection hole 112. The height adjuster 3 of this example is a long bolt that penetrates and is screwed into an insert 33 for the height adjuster embedded between the bottom of the recess 111 for the height adjuster provided on the upper surface 11 and the lower surface 13. By turning the bolt head 31 that looks into the recess 111 for the height adjuster, the screwing amount with respect to the insert 33 for the height adjuster is adjusted, and the protruding position of the lower end protruding from the lower surface 13 is adjusted. Four height adjusters 3 of this example are provided near the four corners near the diagonal line of the upper surface 11. The road surface repair version 1 of this example arranges inserts 113 for hanging tools near each height adjuster 2.

[0018] The injection hole 112 of this example is a through-hole in the shape of an inverted truncated cone that penetrates from the upper surface 11 to the lower surface 13 at the center of the road surface repair version 1 in plan view. As will be described later, the road surface repair version 1 of this example injects grout 7 also between the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 and the side surface 12 (the blocked portion) during the repair work. For this reason, the grout 7 is not only injected from the injection hole 112, but also filled on the lower surface 13 side of the road surface repair version 1 by being routed from the side surface 12 side. The road surface repair version 1 of this example has only one injection hole 112, but a plurality of injection holes 112 may be provided as necessary.

[0019] The road surface repair method using the road surface repair version 1 of this example will be described. The road surface repair method using the road surface repair version 1 of the present invention is used, for example, as shown in FIG. 5, when temporarily restoring a portion 51 where a part of the road surface 5 is missing together with the existing roadbed 52 and the ground 6. The road surface 5 to be used includes, in addition to general roads, highways on which heavy vehicles pass and runways on which aircraft take off and land. The road surface repair method of this example assumes the road surface 5 of a runway (thickness 300 mm - 400 mm), and is a case where rapid and strong temporary restoration is achieved using the road surface repair version 1 of this example (thickness 150 mm).

[0020] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the first repair procedure 1 is to prepare for forming the construction section 4 by cutting the road surface 5 into a square in plan view surrounding the damaged portion 51, backfilling the existing roadbed 52 and the ground 6, and closing them with 521 and 61. Crushed stones are used for the backfilling 521 of the existing roadbed 52, and earth and sand are used for the backfilling 61 of the ground 6. The road surface repair method in this example uses a pair of two road surface repair plates 1, which are rectangular in plan view with the long side being twice the short side, as a square facing material in plan view. Therefore, the cutting range of the road surface 5 is a square in plan view that surrounds the damaged portion 51 and is slightly larger than a pair of two road surface repair plates 1. As a result, in the construction section 4 in the preparation stage, the existing roadbed 52 is in an exposed state within the range where the road surface 5 is cut into a square in plan view.

[0021] In the repair procedure 2, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the cutting section 4 is completed by forming a restored roadbed 44 by spreading crushed stones on the exposed existing roadbed 52 while leaving a thickness corresponding to that of the road surface repair plate 1 (in this example, the thickness of the road surface repair plate 1 + the thickness of the grout 7 on the lower surface 13 side). The road surface repair plate 1 in this example is thinner than the road surface 5 assuming a runway, and the insufficient thickness is compensated by the restored roadbed 44. The restored roadbed 44 ensures the strength of the temporarily restored road surface 5 as a part continuous with the existing roadbed 52. Since the existing roadbed 52 and the restored roadbed 44 may be made of the same crushed stones, the repair procedures 1 and 2 may be integrated to simultaneously backfill the damaged portion 51 of the existing roadbed 52 and form the restored roadbed 44. The surface of the restored roadbed 44 becomes the plane 42 of the construction section 4.

[0022] The next repair procedure 3 is to lay a vinyl sheet 43 on the plane 42 of the construction section 4, which is the surface of the restored roadbed 44, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11. Since the vinyl sheet 43 is thin, the surface of the vinyl sheet 43 = the plane 42 of the construction section 4. The road surface repair method in this example fills the grout 7 in the range surrounding the road surface repair plate 1 (see FIGS. 16 and 17 below). The vinyl sheet 43 prevents the grout 7 from seeping out of the construction section 4. The vinyl sheet 43 in this example covers the plane 42 and the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4, but it may also be sized to cover only the plane 42.

[0023] Subsequent repair procedure 4 involves arranging two road surface repair plates 1 side by side within the construction section 4 as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13. The road surface repair plates 1 are stored in a state where the spacing adjusters 2 and height adjusters 4 are removed, and are attached to the necessary parts during construction. For the two road surface repair plates 1 used in this example, without attaching the spacing adjusters 2 to the side surfaces 12 on the long side to be opposed, the side surfaces 12 are brought into close contact with each other, and the spacing adjusters 2 are attached to each of the remaining three side surfaces 12, and the height adjuster 3 is also attached. From this, the road surface repair plate 1 used in the road surface repair method of this example may be configured such that the spacing adjuster 2 is not attached to one of the side surfaces 12 on the long side (a configuration without providing the insert 22 for the spacing adjuster). For the road surface repair plate 1 where the spacing adjuster 2 is not attached to one of the side surfaces 12 on the long side, if one of the two plates is rotated horizontally by 180 degrees, the side surfaces 12 where the spacing adjuster 2 is not attached can be brought into close contact with each other.

[0024] For the road surface repair plate 1, for example, a hook (not shown) is attached to the insert 113 for the hanging tool, and it is lifted by a crane (not shown) and placed in the construction section 4. In the construction section 4, a grounding plate 32 which is a metal plate is placed at a position corresponding to the height adjuster 3 of the flat surface 42 covered with the vinyl sheet 43. The road surface repair plate 1 is placed within the construction section 4 with the lower end of the height adjuster 3 abutted against the grounding plate 32, and then the height and inclination are adjusted by turning the bolt head 31 of the height adjuster 3 to adjust the protruding amount from the lower surface 13, so as to ensure the continuity between the surface of the existing road surface 5 and the upper surface 11. The height adjuster 3 in this example uses bolts shared with the spacing adjuster 2, but for example, bolts dedicated to the height adjuster 3 with the grounding plate 32 fixed to the lower end may also be used.

[0025] The road surface repair plate 1 that ensures the continuity between the surface of the existing road surface 5 and the upper surface 11 is spaced away from the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 by retracting the spacing adjuster 3 and has not yet been fixed in position. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, the repair procedure 5 extends the spacing adjuster 2 facing the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 and presses each bolt head 21 against the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 to fix the position of the road surface repair plate 1 in the construction section 4 (see particularly the enlarged part in FIG. 15). Thus, the road surface repair plate 1 in this example is fixed in position in the construction section 4 with its horizontal position in the construction section 4 adjusted by the spacing adjuster 2 and its height and inclination in the construction section 4 adjusted by the height adjuster 3.

[0026] The last repair procedure 6 is, as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, to inject grout 7 from the injection hole 112 of the road surface repair plate 1 to fill the gap between the lower surface 13 of the road surface repair plate 1 and the plane 42 of the construction section 4, and then fill the gap (the plugged part) between the side surface 12 of the road surface repair plate 1 and the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 with grout 7. Thereby, the road surface repair plate 1 is integrated with the inner wall surface 41 (in this example, the existing road surface 5) and the plane 42 (in this example, the surface of the restored roadbed 44) of the construction section 4 with its side surface 12 and lower surface 13 except for the upper surface 11 and is firmly fixed in position. The road surface repair plate 1 may leave the recess 111 for the height adjuster opening on the upper surface 11 as it is, or may be plugged by injecting grout 7, for example.

[0027] Since the road surface repair plate 1 placed in the construction section 1 has been fixed in position by pressing the spacing adjuster 2 against the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 before filling the grout 7, displacement is sufficiently prevented even before the filled grout 7 solidifies. For example, when urgency is required, even the road surface repair plate 1 before the grout 7 solidifies can be used as the road surface 5 with the damaged part 51 repaired. And since the road surface repair plate 1 in this example is more firmly fixed in position by the solidification of the grout 7, it is also possible to temporarily restore highways where heavy vehicles pass or runways where aircraft take off and land.

[0028] The road surface repair plate 1 of the present invention can also be used for the temporary restoration of the road surface 5 of general roads. Since the road surface 5 of general roads is thinner (100 mm - 200 mm) than the runway, it is often cut away to the existing roadbed 52 when forming the construction section 4. For this reason, as shown in Fig. 18, in another example of the road surface repair method, a vinyl sheet 43 is laid on the flat surface and the inner surface of the cut existing roadbed 52, and a thin restoration roadbed 44 is formed by the crushed stones laid again. The plane 42 of the construction section 4 is the surface of the restoration roadbed 44, and the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 is the inner surface of the cut existing roadbed 52 seen from the surface of the restoration roadbed 44. The road surface repair plate 1 is placed so that the lower surface 13 contacts the plane 42 of the construction section 4 where the crushed stones 44 are spread without attaching the height adjuster 3. The height and inclination of the road surface repair plate 1 are adjusted by the laying condition of the crushed stones constituting the popularization roadbed 44.

[0029] Then, with the bolt head 21 of the spacing adjuster 2 pressed against the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 and in a fixed position, grout 7 is injected from the injection hole 112, and the gap (the filled part) between the side surface 12 and the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4 is filled with grout 7, and the grout 7 is solidified to temporarily restore the road surface 5. The grout 7 also penetrates into the gaps of the crushed stones 44 and solidifies, replacing the cut existing roadbed 52. As a result, the temporarily restored part of the road surface 5 has a laminated structure with the road surface repair plate 1 on the surface layer, the restoration roadbed 44 solidified with grout 7 and the existing roadbed 52 in the lower layer, and has the same structure as the surrounding road surface 5.

[0030] As described above, the road surface repair plate 1 of the present invention is firmly fixed in position by the solidification of the grout 7, but it can also be sufficiently fixed in position just by pressing the spacing adjuster 2 against the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4. Therefore, in the temporary restoration of the road surface 5 of general roads, when it is sufficient to ensure the continuity of the road surface 52 by removing the damaged part 51, without filling the grout 7, for example, it can be completed by a temporary restoration in which crushed stones 44, sand or dry mortar are filled between the side surface 12 and the inner wall surface 41 of the construction section 4. In this way, the road surface repair plate 1 of the present invention enables a quicker temporary restoration in cases where urgency is required by the position fixing with the spacing adjuster 2.
