Patent Document 1
Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the fitting of Patent Document 1, the screws for fixing the inner frame are exposed on the outdoor side, which is not aesthetically preferable. Further, the tip of the outer frame must necessarily be bent toward the outer peripheral side in order to avoid interference with the inner frame prospective surface, and the screw fixing portion between the inner frame and the outer frame is slightly separated from the lower end of the panel. Therefore, the connection distance from the lower end of the panel to the existing frame becomes long, and the strength for supporting the wind pressure acting on the panel by the existing frame becomes relatively weak.
[0005] The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a fitting and a construction method capable of improving wind pressure resistance while maintaining a suitable design.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, the fitting according to the present invention is a fitting in which a new frame is provided on the inner peripheral side of an existing frame, a panel is held on the inner peripheral side of the new frame, and the edge of the panel is held by an outdoor finding portion and an indoor finding portion. A panel holding space surrounded by a prospective wall, an outdoor finding portion, and an indoor finding portion of the new frame is formed, and the new frame is directly or indirectly fixed to the existing frame from the prospective wall in the panel holding space.
[0007] Further, the construction method of the fitting according to the present embodiment is a construction method of a fitting in which a new frame is provided on the inner peripheral side of an existing frame, and a first side portion that abuts on the outdoor finding wall of the lower frame in the existing frame and a first side portion that abuts on the outdoor finding wall of the lower frame in the existing frame. A base member fixing step of fixing a base member having a second side portion protruding from the inner peripheral side of the first side portion to the outdoor side with a fixture from the outdoor side, a positioning step of positioning the new frame with respect to the existing frame, and a lower frame in the new frame. A lower frame fixing step of fixing the second side portion with a fixture from the prospective wall in the panel holding space surrounded by the prospective wall, the outdoor finding portion, and the indoor finding portion of the lower frame and opening to the inner peripheral side, and an upper frame and a vertical frame in the new frame. An upper frame vertical frame fixing step of fixing to the existing frame with a fixture, and a panel fixing step of inserting a panel into the panel holding space and fixing between the outdoor finding portion and the indoor finding portion.
Effect of the Invention
[0008] According to the present invention, since the fixture is fixed from the panel holding space, it cannot be visually recognized from the inside and outside, and a suitable design can be maintained. Moreover, since the fixing is performed at a position close to the panel, the wind pressure resistance can be improved.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] Hereinafter, embodiments of the fitting according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited by this embodiment.
[0011] Hereinafter, for convenience, the terms "prospective direction" and "finding direction" may be used. The prospective direction (the direction indicated by arrow Z in the figure) is the indoor-outdoor direction along the depth of the fitting. For a surface or wall along the prospective direction, it may be referred to as a prospective surface or a prospective wall. The finding direction is, in the case of something extending along the horizontal direction such as an upper frame, a lower frame, an upper sash, a lower sash, etc., the direction along the up and down perpendicular to the prospective direction (the direction indicated by arrow Y in the figure), and in the case of something extending along the vertical direction such as a vertical frame, a vertical sash, etc., the direction along the horizontal perpendicular to the prospective direction (the direction indicated by arrow X in the figure). For a surface or wall along the finding direction, it may be referred to as a finding surface or a finding wall.
[0012] FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a fitting 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the fitting 10. However, since the fitting 10 is basically symmetric in shape about the left-right direction, only the left side portion is shown in FIG. 2.
[0013] The fitting 10 is a retrofit fitting in which a new frame 14 is provided on the inner peripheral side of an existing frame 12, and is what is called a FIX window in which a panel 16 such as a multi-layer glass is held on the inner peripheral side of the new frame 14. The fitting 10 can reduce the construction cost by not removing the existing frame 12. Each frame member of the existing frame 12 is an extruded member made of a metal such as an aluminum alloy and is configured to have a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape over the entire length along the longitudinal direction. The frame members of the new frame 14 are also extruded members and are configured to have a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape over the entire length, but are a composite material of a metal material and a resin material.
[0014] The existing frame 12 is configured by surrounding the upper frame 18, the lower frame 20, and the left and right vertical frames 22. The new frame 14 is configured by surrounding the upper frame 24, the lower frame 26, and the left and right vertical frames 28. The new frame 14 has a vertical win structure.
[0015] The vertical frame 28 has an outdoor metal frame 30, an indoor first resin frame 32, and a second resin frame 34. A pressing edge 36 is attached to the vertical frame 28. The metal frame 30 has an outdoor hollow portion 30a that is long in the prospecting direction, an outdoor finding portion 30b that protrudes toward the inner peripheral side, and a prospecting piece 30c that extends toward the indoor side. The tip of the outdoor finding portion 30b supports the edge of the outdoor surface of the panel 16 via a pocket portion and a bead 37.
[0016] The hollow portion 30a and the prospecting piece 30c have substantially the same length in the prospecting direction. Substantially all of the hollow portion 30a protrudes outside the existing vertical frame 22. A first engaging portion 30d and a second engaging portion 30e for engaging with the pressing edge 36 are provided on the inner peripheral side closer to the indoor side of the hollow portion 30a. The first engaging portion 30d and the second engaging portion 30e are in an L shape protruding toward the adjacent side. The first engaging portion 30d is on the outdoor side and the outer peripheral side of the second engaging portion 30e. A third engaging portion 30f for engaging with the first resin frame 32 is provided on the indoor finding wall of the hollow portion 30a. A fourth engaging portion 30g for engaging with the first resin frame 32 is provided at the end of the prospecting piece 30c. The prospecting piece 30c is fixed to the prospecting wall of the vertical frame 22 by screws (fasteners) 42 via a spacer 38 and a base member 40. The base member 40 extends to the indoor side and is fixed to the vertical frame 22 by screws. The base member 40 and the base members 54 and 80 described later are made of an aluminum alloy material or a stainless steel material and are of high strength.
[0017] The first resin frame 32 has a hollow portion 32a that is elongated in the prospective direction as a base, and has a prospective piece 32b that protrudes to the outdoor side, a relay piece 32c that protrudes to the indoor side, and an engagement piece 32d that protrudes to the outer peripheral side. An engagement piece 32e protrudes to the outdoor side of the hollow portion 32a. The tip of the prospective piece 32b is bent and engages with the third engagement portion 30f. A screw insertion hole through which a screw 42 passes is formed in the prospective piece 32b, but it is covered by the pressing edge 36 and not visible. The tip of the engagement piece 32d engages with the fourth engagement portion 30g.
[0018] The second resin frame 34 has an irregular L-shape, and the short side portion of the L-shape is screwed to the relay piece 32c. The long side portion of the L-shape extends toward the outer peripheral side and closes the space between the existing frame 12 or the housing. A plurality of folding grooves 34a are provided in this L-shaped portion, and by folding any one of the folding grooves 34a, the distance from the existing frame 12 or the housing can be adjusted. A gap blocking member 43 is provided adjacent to the tip of the second resin frame 34. The second resin frame 34 functions as a frame.
[0019] The pressing edge 36 has a metal pressing edge 44 on the outdoor side and a resin pressing edge 46 on the indoor side. The metal pressing edge 44 and the resin pressing edge 46 are strongly engaged with each other at the L-shaped and square U-shaped engagement portions. The metal pressing edge 44 has a fixing piece 44a that extends obliquely toward the outdoor side. The tip of the fixing piece 44a engages with the first engagement portion 30d, and the recess formed at the end engages with the second engagement portion 30e. The resin pressing edge 46 has a substantially square cross-section and is partitioned into two rooms arranged in the finding direction. An engagement piece 46a protrudes from the indoor side of the resin pressing edge 46 to the outer peripheral side and engages with the engagement piece 32e.
[0020] The caulking edge 36 is formed by a part of the metal caulking edge 44 and the resin caulking edge 46 to form a finding part 36a. The inner peripheral side end of the finding part 36a supports the edge of the indoor surface of the panel 16 via the bead 37. A panel holding space 48 surrounded by the prospective wall of the hollow part 30a, the outdoor side finding part 30b, and the finding part 36a is formed. The finding part 36a serves as the indoor side finding part of the panel holding space 48. Note that the panel holding space 48 is formed to communicate over four sides between the new frame 14 and the edge of the panel 16. The panel holding space 48 at the location facing the vertical frame 28 is also referred to as the panel holding space 48a.
[0021] (Regarding the upper frame 24, the screw hole 58, and its peripheral part) The upper frame 24 has an outdoor side metal frame 50, a first resin frame 52, and a second resin frame 34 on the indoor side. The metal frame 50 has an outdoor side hollow part 50a that is long in the prospective direction, an outdoor side finding part 50b that protrudes from the outdoor side end of the hollow part 50a to the inner peripheral side, an indoor side finding part 50c that protrudes from the vicinity of the indoor side end of the hollow part 50a to the inner peripheral side, and a prospective piece 50d that extends indoors. The tip of the outdoor side finding part 50b supports the edge of the outdoor surface of the panel 16 via the pocket part and the bead 37. The tip of the indoor side finding part 50c supports the edge of the indoor surface of the panel 16 via a part of the first resin frame 52 and the bead 37. That is, at this location, the panel holding space 48 is formed surrounded by the hollow part 50a, the outdoor side finding part 50b, and the indoor side finding part 50c. The panel holding space 48 at this location is also referred to as the panel holding space 48b. The panel holding space 48b has an appropriate width in the finding direction so that the panel 16 can be assembled in a Kendon style.
[0022] The hollow part 50a and the prospective piece 50d have substantially the same length in the prospective direction. The hollow part 50a protrudes outside the existing vertical frame 22. An engaging part 50e for engaging with the first resin frame 52 is provided at the end of the prospective piece 50d. The prospective piece 50d is fixed to the prospective wall of the upper frame 18 by screws 42 via the spacer 38 and the base member 54. The base member 54 extends indoors and is fixed to the upper frame 18 by screws.
[0023] The first resin frame 52 has a hollow portion 52a that is elongated in the prospective direction as a base, and includes a prospective piece 52b that protrudes to the outdoor side, a relay piece 52c that protrudes to the indoor side, and an engagement piece 52d that protrudes from the indoor side end to the outdoor side. The tip of the prospective piece 52b is bent and engaged so as to mesh with the tip of the indoor-side finding portion 50c. The engagement piece 52d is engaged with the engagement portion 50e. The relay piece 52c is screwed to the second resin frame 34. The second resin frame 34 is the same as the above, but has a different length due to the folding of the folding groove 34a. Two screw insertion holes through which the screws 42 pass are formed in the hollow portion 52a, but the screw insertion hole on the inner peripheral side prospective surface is blocked by a cap 56.
[0024] The hollow portion 50a is partitioned into an outdoor-side chamber 50g and an indoor-side chamber 50h by a partition wall 50f. The outdoor-side chamber 50g is slightly smaller in prospective width than the indoor-side chamber 50h. A screw hole 58 is provided at the lower part of the partition wall 50f in the hollow portion 50a. The screw hole 58 is a part where a screw 60 (see the virtual line in FIG. 2) for joining the vertical frame 28 and the upper frame 24 is screwed, and is for joining the vertical frames. Since the new frame 14 is vertically dominant, the upper frame 24 is fixed by screwing the screw 60 passing through the vertical frame 28 into the screw hole 58. The screw hole 58 is C-shaped and opens downward. That is, the screw hole 58 has an opening communicating with the panel holding space 48b. All the arc walls other than the opening forming the screw hole 58 are within the range of the hollow portion 50a and do not protrude into the panel holding space 48b.
[0025] The screw hole 58 is located outside the outdoor-side finding surface of the existing upper frame 18, and water may enter through the screw 60 and the screw hole 58. However, since the screw hole 58 provided in contact with the hollow portion 50a opens into the panel holding space 48a on the inner peripheral side, there is no water intrusion into the interior of the hollow portion 50a, and means such as a drain valve are unnecessary for the hollow portion 50a. Thus, in the fitting 10, water intrusion into the hollow portion 50a can be prevented with a simple and low-cost configuration. The water that enters the panel holding space 48a is drained to the outside through the panel holding space 48a, the panel holding space 48c (described later), and the drain hole 62m. Since the screw hole 58 is provided in the inner peripheral-side prospective wall of the metal frame 50, the distance to the panel 16 is relatively short, making it suitable for the framework.
[0026] (Regarding the lower frame 26, the screw hole 68, and its peripheral portion) The lower frame 26 has an outdoor-side metal frame 62, an indoor-side first resin frame 64, and a second resin frame 34.
[0027] First, the first resin frame 64 will be described. The first resin frame 64 has a hollow portion 64a as a base, a prospective piece 64b protruding to the outdoor side, a relay piece 64c protruding to the indoor side, and an engaging piece 64d protruding from the indoor-side end to the outer peripheral side. The tip of the prospective piece 64b is bent and engaged so as to mesh with the tip of the indoor-side finding portion 62f. The engaging piece 64d is engaged with the engaging portion 62j. The relay piece 64c is screwed to the second resin frame 34. The second resin frame 34 is the same as the above, but has a different length due to the folding of the folding groove 34a. The hollow portion 64a is partitioned by a partition wall into a relatively large outdoor-side chamber 64e and a relatively small indoor-side chamber 64f. A shallow recess 64g is formed on the upper surface of the hollow portion 64a. A drain hole 64h is formed at the lower part of the hollow portion 64a.
[0028] Next, the metal frame 62 will be described. The metal frame 62 has a relatively large first hollow portion 62a and a relatively small second hollow portion 62b adjacent to the inner peripheral side of the first hollow portion 62a. The first hollow portion 62a is large and has sufficient strength to support the self-weight of the panel 16 and the like. The indoor-side surfaces of the first hollow portion 62a and the second hollow portion 62b are continuous, but from the outdoor side, the second hollow portion 62b is located deeper than the first hollow portion 62a.
[0029] The metal frame 62 further includes an indoor-side projecting piece 62c where the inner peripheral side wall of the second hollow portion 62b extends toward the indoor side, an outdoor-side projecting piece 62d that extends toward the outdoor side, an outdoor-side finding portion 62e that projects from the outdoor-side end portion of the outdoor-side projecting piece 62d toward the inner peripheral side, an indoor-side finding portion 62f that projects from the middle of the indoor-side projecting piece 62c toward the inner peripheral side, a finding support piece 62g that projects from the middle of the indoor-side projecting piece 62c toward the outer peripheral side, a finding support piece 62h that projects from near the boundary portion between the first hollow portion 62a and the second hollow portion 62b in the second hollow portion 62b toward the indoor side, and a fixing piece 62i that projects in an L shape from the lower end of the first hollow portion 62a toward the indoor side. The finding support piece 62g is moderately long and its tip is located on the extension of the finding support piece 62h. The finding support piece 62g is on the extension of the indoor-side finding portion 62f. The finding support piece 62h is short. An engaging portion 62j for engaging with the first resin frame 64 is provided at the end of the indoor-side projecting piece 62c.
[0030] The tip of the outdoor-side finding portion 62e supports the edge of the outdoor surface of the panel 16 via the pocket portion and the bead 37. The tip of the indoor-side finding portion 62f supports the edge of the indoor surface of the panel 16 via a part of the first resin frame 64 and the bead 37. That is, at this location, the panel holding space 48 is formed surrounded by the second hollow portion 62b, the indoor-side projecting piece 62c, the outdoor-side projecting piece 62d, the outdoor-side finding portion 62e, and the indoor-side finding portion 62f. The panel holding space 48 at this location is also referred to as the panel holding space 48c. The panel 16 is supported by the setting block 66 within the panel holding space 48c.
[0031] An outdoor communication space 62k that opens to the outdoor side is formed by the inner peripheral wall of the first hollow portion 62a, the outdoor wall of the second hollow portion 62b, and the outdoor projected piece 62d. A drain hole 62m that communicates with the outdoor communication space 62k is provided in the outdoor projected piece 62d. At the tip of the outdoor projected piece 62d, there is a small downward projecting piece 62n so that the drain hole 62m is not conspicuous.
[0032] In the first hollow portion 62a, a screw hole 68 is provided at the lower part of the outdoor wall 62o of the second hollow portion 62b. The screw hole 68 is a part where a screw 70 (refer to the virtual line in Fig. 2) for joining the vertical frame 28 and the lower frame 26 is screwed, and is for joining the vertical frames. Since the new frame 14 is a vertical winner, the lower frame 26 is fixed by screwing the screw 70 passing through the vertical frame 28 into the screw hole 68. The screw hole 68 has the same C shape as the above screw hole 58 and opens downward (towards the opening). That is, the screw hole 68 has an opening that communicates with the first hollow portion 62a. All the arc walls forming the screw hole 68 are within the range of the first hollow portion 62a and do not protrude into the second hollow portion 62b and the outdoor communication space 62k. Note that the screw hole 68 and the above screw hole 58 are in overlapping positions in plan view, and the screw 70 and the above screw 60 are in overlapping positions in plan view.
[0033] A first drain hole 62q is formed at the lower end of the indoor finding wall 62p of the first hollow portion 62a. A second drain hole 62r is formed at a location closer to the outdoor side in the extending portion of the fixing piece 62i in the expected direction. The first drain hole 62q and the second drain hole 62r are adjacent to each other. The newly installed lower frame 26 and the existing lower frame 20 are separated in the expected direction to form a drain intermediate space 72. The first drain hole 62q opens into the drain intermediate space 72.
[0034] A drain hole 20a is formed in a part of the expected wall of the existing lower frame 20. Therefore, the water that has entered the recess 64g due to condensation or the like is drained to the drain intermediate space 72 through the two drain valves 74 and the drain holes 64h, 20a.
[0035] The screw hole 68 is located outside the outdoor-side finding surface of the existing lower frame 20, and water may penetrate through the screw 70 and the screw hole 68. Since the water that has penetrated into the first hollow portion 62a from the screw hole 68 is drained from the first drain hole 62q of the indoor-side finding wall 62p, there are no exposed holes or drain valves on the outdoor surface, and the water in the first hollow portion 62a can be drained while maintaining a suitable design. Basically, a drain valve, a filter, etc. are not required for the first drain hole 62q and the second drain hole 62r, and the structure is simple. The second drain hole 62r is located in a recessed position and has a downward opening, so it is hardly visible from the outdoor side.
[0036] The drain intermediate space 72 is a space for draining condensed water or the like that could originally enter the existing lower frame 20 from the drain hole 20a, and it is reasonable to also use it as a drainage path for the water in the first hollow portion 62a. Note that since a seal member 76 provided with a drain pipe 76a may be provided at the lower part of the first hollow portion 62a as shown by the virtual line in FIG. 1, it is not preferable to provide the first drain hole 62q on the lower surface of the first hollow portion 62a because there is a concern that it will be blocked by the seal member 76. The first drain hole 62q, the second drain hole 62r, the drain holes 20a, 62m, 64h, etc. may be provided, for example, near both ends in the longitudinal direction of the frame member.
[0037] (Regarding the connection and fixation between the lower frame 20 and the lower frame 26) Returning to FIG. 1, the connection and fixation between the lower frame 20 and the lower frame 26 will be described. In the cross-section of FIG. 1, the metal frame 62 of the lower frame 20 is connected and fixed to the lower frame 26 at two locations (however, a plurality of locations are fixed along the longitudinal direction of the frame member). One location is the L-shaped tip of the fixing piece 62i, which is fixed to the lower end expected wall of the lower frame 26 by a screw 79.
[0038] Another location is at the indoor-side projected piece 62c, which is part of the projected wall in the panel holding space 48c, and is indirectly connected and fixed via the base member 80 by screws 42. The base member 80 has an L-shaped configuration consisting of a first side portion 80a forming a long side in the finding direction and a second side portion 80b forming a short side in the projected direction. The screws 42 fix the metal frame 62 by screwing through the indoor-side projected piece 62c into the second side portion 80b. A plurality of screws 42 are provided at positions avoiding the setting block 66.
[0039] The first side portion 80a abuts against the outdoor-side finding wall 20b of the lower frame 20, and this portion is fixed by screws 82. In this embodiment, there is a pocket 20c on the indoor side of the outdoor-side finding wall 20b, and the screws 82 are screwed from the outdoor-side finding wall 20b into the pocket 20c.
[0040] The inner peripheral ends of the first side portion 80a and the outdoor-side finding wall 20b coincide. The first side portion 80a is slightly longer on the outer peripheral side than the outdoor-side finding wall 20b. The second side portion 80b projects outward from the inner peripheral end of the first side portion 80a, and its tip abuts against the indoor-side finding wall 62p. The second side portion 80b defines the projected width of the drainage intermediate space 72 and substantially serves as the ceiling of the drainage intermediate space 72. The tip of the finding support piece 62g abuts against the indoor-side end of the second side portion 80b, and the finding support piece 62h abuts against the upper surface of the outdoor-side end, stably supporting the metal frame 62 in the projected direction and the finding direction.
[0041] The heads of the screws 42 are exposed within the panel holding space 48c, but since the panel holding space 48c is not visible from the indoor and outdoor sides, the heads are not visually recognized either. The connection and fixation between the lower frame 20 and the lower frame 26 may be provided with screw through-holes in the resin frame portion like the connection and fixation between the upper frame 18 and the upper frame 24, fixed by screws 42 at the back, and then the screw through-holes are blocked by caps 56. However, the first resin frame 64 of the lower frame 26 is in a relatively visible position, and moreover, a plurality of screws 42 need to be provided along the longitudinal direction of the frame member, which makes them conspicuous. Therefore, it is desirable to make them invisible by utilizing the panel holding space 48c. Thereby, a suitable design can be maintained.
[0042] In addition, although the panel holding space 48c is a location that receives a relatively large load due to the wind pressure on the panel 16, in this embodiment, it has a sufficiently short connection path via the screws 42 and the base member 80 to the existing lower frame 20, and it is possible to reliably support the load in the lower frame 20, thereby improving the wind resistance. Also, although the panel holding space 48c receives the self-weight of the panel 16, the lower frame 20 can reliably support this self-weight due to the short connection path.
[0043] The base member 80 is preferably applied in a form in which the second side portion 80b protrudes from the first side portion 80a in the outdoor direction, and the panel holding space 48c and the hollow portions 62a, 62b are arranged on the outdoor side of the existing lower frame 20, but depending on the conditions, the second side portion 80b may protrude inwardly of the room. Also, depending on the conditions, the base member 80 may be omitted, and the panel holding space 48c may be directly connected and fixed to the lower frame 20 with the screws 42.
[0044] (Construction method of the fitting 10) Next, the construction method of the fitting 10 will be described. FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing the construction method of the fitting 10. It is assumed that prior to construction, the new frame 14 is framed by screwing the screws 60, 70 from the left and right vertical frames 28 into the screw holes 58, 68 of the upper frame 24 and the lower frame 26.
[0045] In step S1 (base member fixing step), the base member 80 is fixed to the found wall 20b on the outdoor side of the existing lower frame 20 with the screw 82. The base member 80 has an L shape, and the first side portion 80a serves as the found wall and can be fixed with the screw 82 from the outdoor side. By providing the base member 80, the newly provided metal frames 50, 62, etc. can be arranged relatively closer to the outdoor side, and accordingly, there is room to arrange the resin frames 52, 64, etc. on the indoor side, thereby improving the heat insulation performance. The base member 54 for the upper frame 18 and the base member 40 for the vertical frame 22 are also attached.
[0046] In step S2 (positioning step), the newly installed frame 14 is brought into contact with the existing frame 12 from the outdoor side and lowered downward. As a result, the found support piece 62g and the prospective support piece 62h come into contact with the second side portion 80b of the base member 80, and the positioning of the newly installed frame 14 in the found direction is performed. However, regarding the positioning of the newly installed frame 14, locations other than the base member 80 may be used. At this point, since the panel 16 is not attached to the newly installed frame 14, the panel holding space 48c is open on the inner peripheral side.
[0047] In step S3 (lower frame fixing step), a screw 42 is screwed from the indoor prospective piece 62c forming the prospective wall of the open panel holding space 48c into the second side portion 80b to fix the newly installed lower frame 26 to the existing lower frame 20.
[0048] In step S4 (upper frame and vertical frame fixing step), the newly installed upper frame 24 is fixed by screwing a screw 42 from the prospective piece 50d through the base member 54 and the spacer 38 into the existing upper frame 18. The newly installed vertical frame 28 is fixed by screwing a screw 42 from the prospective piece 30c through the base member 40 and the spacer 38 into the existing upper frame 24. Depending on the judgment of the constructor or the like, step S3 and step S4 may be performed in reverse order.
[0049] In step S5 (panel fixing step), the panel 16 is fitted in a Kendon manner from the indoor side and placed between the outdoor side found portion and the indoor side found portion, and the bead 37 is press-fitted by an instrument to fix the panel 16. Further, the pressing edge 36 is attached before and after this. After that, the second resin frame 34 is further attached.
[0050] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and it goes without saying that it can be freely changed without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0051] The fitting according to this embodiment is a fitting in which a newly installed frame is provided on the inner peripheral side of an existing frame. A panel is held on the inner peripheral side of the newly installed frame, and the edge of the panel is held by an outdoor finding portion and an indoor finding portion. A panel holding space surrounded by the prospective wall of the newly installed frame, the panel, the outdoor finding portion, and the indoor finding portion is formed. The newly installed frame is directly or indirectly fixed to the existing frame from the prospective wall in the panel holding space, which is a feature thereof.
[0052] The construction method of the fitting according to this embodiment is a construction method of a fitting in which a newly installed frame is provided on the inner peripheral side of an existing frame. It includes a base member fixing step of fixing, from the outdoor side with a fixture, a base member provided with a first side portion that abuts against the outdoor finding wall of the lower frame in the existing frame and a second side portion that protrudes from the inner peripheral side to the outdoor side of the first side portion; a positioning step of positioning the newly installed frame with respect to the existing frame; a lower frame fixing step of fixing, with a fixture, from the prospective wall in the panel holding space surrounded by the prospective wall, the outdoor finding portion, and the indoor finding portion of the lower frame in the newly installed frame and opening to the inner peripheral side, to the second side portion; an upper frame and vertical frame fixing step of fixing the upper frame and vertical frame in the newly installed frame to the existing frame with a fixture; and a panel fixing step of inserting the edge of the panel into the panel holding space and fixing it between the outdoor finding portion and the indoor finding portion, which is a feature thereof.
[0053] According to this embodiment, since the fixture is fixed from the panel holding space, it is not visible from inside and outside, and a suitable design can be maintained. Moreover, since the fixing is done at a location close to the panel, the wind pressure resistance can be improved.
[0054] A base member provided with a first side portion that abuts against the outdoor finding wall of the existing frame and a second side portion that protrudes in the prospective direction from the first side portion is attached to the outdoor finding wall of the existing frame. The newly installed frame may be fixed to the existing frame via the base member from the prospective wall in the panel holding space. According to such a base member, the degree of freedom of the relative position of the newly installed frame with respect to the existing frame can be obtained.
[0055] The second side portion may protrude outward from the outdoor side finding wall to the outdoor side. Thereby, the new frame can be arranged relatively on the outdoor side.
[0056] The new frame is a composite material composed of a metal material on the outdoor side and a resin material on the indoor side, and the prospective wall in the panel holding space may be a metal material. Thereby, the new frame and the existing frame can be firmly fixed.
[0057] If the resin material has a plurality of folding grooves whose distance from the existing frame or the housing can be adjusted, the distance from the existing frame or the housing can be adjusted.
[0058] The lower frame of the new frame is fixed to the existing frame in the panel holding space, and the upper frame and the vertical frame of the new frame may be fixed to the existing frame.
